Messi scored 7 goals during qualifying in the Conmebol zone, while Neymar scored 8 goals. It was quite convincing that they both appeared with their best performance in this year's world cup because the performance of both of them at the club level was also good.

I hope Messi, he looks so ready to help his country succeed this year for the World Cup. I like to call them the favorites, but I have to admit some of the other favorites like Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe really deserve it too. I have a reason why Messi looks good to be my favourite, it's because Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland are behind them in terms of player quality. This is only limited to the group stage.

Messi will actually wrap up more goals because of the weaker group opponents he has. But Neymar will come good because he has creative team around him. Concerning Mbappe I feel he wouldn't be the pointed man like last World Cup because of the presence of Benzema. Mbappe might be pushed to wing to create room for Benzema and both players will have to share the goals between themselves. On the other hand, Messi scored a goal and an assist. Also the performances of players like De Paul, Otamendi and Allister were very good. In this way, if Argentina is able to continue the performance, then Barcelona will win every match in the group stage. Argentina has talented players in defense, midfield, and forward and all are in good form.

The match felt one-sided in this regard, I don't know why even though Argentina didn't dominate the ball too much and the tempo wasn't too fast, seeing their attacks like this was clearly very good in my opinion.
Di Maria also performed brilliantly in this match with the brace he created, this was a pretty good capital as a warm-up for the world cup.

Like, you've got everything to lose and they've got nothing to lose for a game of no significance. Probably they won't have to play with there first team (at qualified teams) but the chances of injury to the few that participated remains a risk still.

Croatia won an exhibition game 10 minutes before the end. It doesn't say much, but it's better to win such matches than lose for self-confidence. I expect an equal match between Qatar and Ecuador. By the way, it is still pretty good that Ecuador has qualified, you have a strong selection of teams in the Americas nowadays. Colombia has fallen far behind in qualifying in recent years. They even finished 6th in qualifying, behind Peru. They have brought that on themselves by winning only 2x in the last 5 games. Uruguay could also eliminate a title favorite at the World Cup. In this case, I actually still feel that the golden boot now depends on which national team will now shine.
Mbappe and Benzema are indeed quite good strikers, but the problem is seeing the current condition of France I feel a little pessimistic as well as Kane in England who are always unlucky for competition.
I think the Brazilian and Argentinian players are still quite strong considering their team's performance was also very good in qualifying but it does not rule out that there are other names too such as players from Holland, Belgium or maybe Germany who will be in front later.

What's great about Di Maria's current shape is that he functions very well along with Messi. They both know each other in and out, Di Maria still has great speed and great precision in his passing and seeking the free space. I am sure we are going to see some great moves by the Argentinian offense. They are for sure a great name again and I hope they'll make it far in this tournament as it it always great to see Messi perform for a long time throughout the tournament. He is thrilled beyond imagination I guess.

Good stats in the Premier League albeit a little late. At the 2018 World Cup, Harry Kane recorded 6 goals from 6 matches. That's why I say that the Tottenham Hotspur striker should not be overlooked in the list of potential top scorers among great players from other national teams.

I have none hopes for England in this World Cup. Did you have a look on their last official games before WC ? England is looking in bad shape for this tournament but they could reach quarters finals if they have a bit of luck.

Before the WC, England did perform poorly during their participation in the UEFA Nations League tournament. Joined in Group A with Germany, Italy and Hungary, England have never tasted victory. Their best record is only being able to draw against Germany, but in the WC this time it will be a little different.

For us, England's weakness is still in the same position, namely the defense, but this time in the WC England are in Group B with slightly easier opponents although it should not be underestimated.

I'm saying from now that whoever will win the WC , will not be from Europe 100%. My prediction for all groups that should qualify in the first stage is:
Group A: Holland, which is visibly the strongest country and Ecuador in second;
Group B: England, one of the favorites to reach the finals, followed by the United States perhaps;
Group C: Argentina for sure and Mexico in second place;
Group D: France and Denmark
Group E: Spain, which is one of the favorites in this cup, and Japan, which is also a very strong team.
Group F: Belgium and Croatia
Group G: Brazil, obviously. Followed by Serbia in second place.

I am not sure about this. Netherlands maybe the strongest team on paper, but the Group looks very tight. Ecuador is a quality team from the CONMEBOL and then we have the strongest teams from AFC and CAF (Qatar and Senegal respectively).
