To be completely honest , Japan played so well in 2nd half that only a few teams could have stopped them scoring. They are fast , they have great discipline in the pitch and they are not afraid to play long ball passes as the height is clearly not in their advantage. Next game for Germany is kinda everything or nothing as they face Spain and Spain is looking sharp and deadly when they have the ball so I'm afraid Germany might be the first big team that will go home or maybe Musiala will show his godlike form and score against Spain twice.  |

Costa Rica players are not performing very well in this Spain vs Costa Rica game. At this moment Spain added two more goals to make Costa Rica's total 3-0. First Argentina loses to Saudi Arabia, then Germany loses to Japan. This world cup feels like players did not even care for it, like they didn't even want to be here. I personally feel like there is a good case to be made about the fact that players do not even try to win. Maybe it could be about the fact that if they somehow finish second, they could lose and go back home instead of trying to be here and work harder. November/December world cup is a tough thing.
I guess we will keep seeing more of these type of games, not sure if it will happen quickly or not, but it may happen here and there and it could be quite entertaining for sure to see these underdog wins but not a good feeling to lose these bets.

I feel sad for Germany players Football is game of chance Germany couldn't take their chances by utilizing those chances in scoring goals unfortunately got punished for their poor finishing while the Japanese team scored two goals out of four shots on target the final score matter most rather than Germany favorable statistics, Japan worked hard in second half and got rewarded for their effort thus creating another upset just like yesterday defeat against Argentina by Saudi Arabia with those outcome of the matches played it's becoming obvious that there is no longer minnow in football again many countries team are improving day by day. |

This is probably the most one sided games so far in World Cup. Only 18% ball possession from Costa Rica and literally 0 goal attempts throughout the whole 90 minutes. Well Spain is the clear favourites to win this game but honestly no one would have expected that Costa Rica would be defending for 90 minutes, that is just so weird |

even though winning this match with a convincing score but I still haven't thought that Spain is a strong candidate to win the world cup this year, the opponent they face Costa Rica is a team whose players are materially still below them, so I think Spain really deserves to win. Basically you are right. Spain is superior in quality to Costa Rica, and Spain has a good game strategy that makes Costa Rica fail to defend well. Right now maybe a lot of people are still doubtful about Spain which at the 2022 World Cup has a young squad. They have demonstrated that they have cohesion. Costa Rica is a good team but not that a test for Spain. There next game against Germany will be the real test since they will be playing against a wounded team that has excellent players. Another thing is the back line of Spain looks agey to me especially there fullbacks will they have the ability to keep the tempo throughout the campaign is a big question. |

Some teams have become really strong in this World Cup.Like yesterday we saw the game between Argentina and Saudi Arabia where the most powerful name Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia.Again today I saw that Japan beat Germany.Like in yesterday's match no one believed that Saudi Arabia would win and in today's match no one believed that Japan would win. But whatever one says is strong only when one can win a tough fight. All the teams that won the World Cup this year are really strong.
what a surprize Saudia Arabia and Japan gave to the world. I think Saudis are well calmatized with the Qatar weather too. But the celebration in Saudia and UAE is still going on. The Saudi gov have given a day off in celebration of the win. What a day for Saudis and Japanese. |

You can imagine Germany making Argentina's msitake. Coming to the front line with an idea of "they could beat and would beat Japan no matter how hard Japan tries". It turns out Japan wasn't ready to not have a 3 point against a strong side in there group. At least they've got the pace and young tactical team to get the job done.
The playouts in both games were just similar. Argentina gets a penalty and L. Messi scores with Saudi Arabia coming from behind to win 2 goals to 1.
While, Germany had an early penalty and Gundogan scores but still, Japan comes from behind to claim the win.
It just keeps getting better and better in Qatar 2022.
