After China withdrew from hosting the Asian Cup, it looks like Australia is a strong candidate to carry out the 2023 later, I think that if Australia will host it, of course it will be advantageous for the Southeast Asian teams because are geographically  almost the same and close to australia, for champion candidates later in addition to Japan, I personally prefer South Korea to win the 2023 Asian Cup, I think these the two countries currently have a better squad depth than other Asian countries and the factor of the large number of Japanese and Korean players playing in European competitions is certainly a strong reason to favor them to be champions.

I think too early make thread about Asian Cup 2023 because competition held on next years and still several months later competition begin, beside need to applause what did by OP, I think not really good discussing when predicting Asian Cup 2023 right now. Should looking on schedule early by the OP and check when exactly match held before make prediction about who the king of Asia on 2023. I keep favorite with my country Indonesia and hope this time after 15 years not participants on Asian Cup and last time qualify by the host of Asian Cup 2007 and get automatically ticket without qualify round.
