Saka is expected to be out for 4 weeks due to hamstring injury. Bad news for people who had big hopes about him.    He actually played quite well until the injury moment and I was also planning to add him to my team later.

Good we have Madueke, Nwaneri, and Max Dowman, who could all fill in for the weeks Saka will be out.

After this Newcastle vs. Liverpool game, it looks like Liverpool will struggle to keep the clean sheets this season with the defensive challenges that they look to have; Wirtz also looks like a very regular midfielder in the EPL; I am certainly throwing him out of my team.

Wirtz is really disappointment on the first 2 weeks. I kept him for only one gameweek. Replacing him with Cunha hasn't shown its effect yet for me though but I'm waiting for now.

You did really good by making Joao Pedro your captain. There were like only 2 people who did the same. He brought 30 points for you. I wish I kept Ekitike as my captain for this week too.

It’s this luck most of the times that makes us pick him first, he always finds a way to get a contribution.

Seriously I had been looking at this Liverpool defense since the game against Palace in the community shield and sincerely I think the center back pairing is just getting more shaky as they continue to play together, i think Liverpool will be using the last few days of the transfer window to get Marc Guehi from Palace because if this is there combination for the season it will be seriously disastrous for them, probably this might be best period to cash in on Konate who isn’t looking to renew.

Wirtz gets the price drop tonight. He's been terrible to be honest, but he's on set pieces in a team that actually scored from them so I will probably keep him.

A few options, I'll decide in the next 10 minutes, but -4 is incoming for sure. Just not sure if Palmer goes or Wirtz.

No. You are allowed one free transfer per week though, and you can accumulate that up to 5 free transfers.

Any extra transfer you make that's not under your alloted free transfers will cost you 4 points, and that is obviously not recommended, except when really necessary. You can also make transfers and change your team when you play the free hit or Wildcard chip, but that is also limited.

It has been a long week season already, and I can wait for the international break.. I don't know who and where to turn to, those who are in good form have awful fixtures, those with great fixtures have been awful, and I don't think even an early wide card would make things easier to be honest, I like the set players I have with the except of maybe 2 right now, and my disappointment has so far stemmed from the fact that I was able to focus on starter with the chunk of my budgets and most of them are looking like waste of space.

Yeah, after every Gameweek you get 1 free transfer (and you can bank up to 4 or 5, I forget which). I'm one of those who really dislikes doing extra (they cost you negative once you use up free transfers) but I think the best players don't really care. Trying to get over that psychological hesitation when needing to transfer and taking the penalty.

I'll hang on to Wirtz, I think he just needs a bit more time, Saka's injury forces me to change up though and I might actually go for a 5 defender strat the way midfielders seem so... unpredictable.

As long as Wirtz is actually playing behind those strikers I don’t see him getting those numbers seriously, and right now it is looking like he wouldn’t even be getting full minutes so it’s more like 1 points and that for an 8.5m player is a huge waste, I will rather go take another risk. Going forward I think he might even be coming off from the bench if this form continues and Liverpool have to leave it late. If Mac Allister returns it might be a decision to make Although cutis jones might be the one to drop.

I took a look and see I've already made a 0.2m loss on Bowen so I probably should sell him now and cut my losses -- but is there a way to see if I made/lost any money from players I already sold? For instance, I've offloaded Saka and Wan Bissaka (I guess I like my rhymes) but I can't see what I bought and sold them for as they're no longer in my squad.

I feel he'll be used as a sub or probably won't be needed in the game as Enzo will want to stick with what has worked for him in the last game. The man needs a rest for real. Never best against Mo Salah, he's an Egyptian god and can always give you valuable points. He'll always be spotted in my team irrespective of him costly that much.  Watkins has two more games to prove himself to me or he's out of my squad. I use this site... yes it is a bit inaccurate... because when I sold Areola the price change happened a day later than what this site predicted (imagine my first transfer was made in favor of a reserve goalkeeper).
