How do I change the team name? I put something retarded as a placeholder and I hate it.

Tried a few more drafts, discarded them all. I like my team without both Salah and Haaland but I know it ultimately leads to a disaster.

Take care of woke fantasy and dirty players, is gonna be a  shame is someone flag your name and get you banned for offensive name when you are in the first place. (super dirty play).

Now talking seriously i dont know how it can be changed, i feel like they are starting to complicate the interfase so much.

I know I will eventually need to have one or the other in my team for majority of the time but for a starter I don't know which one and I have better all round squad without either of them (all round better squad at least on paper, until the points start coming in), but I really do foresee an early wildcard for me, most likely before game week 5... I just feel the need to start well enough and it's looking likely with Salah not so kind early fixtures and not knowing how the new flow of the team would be, he might become the Haaland we hated last season.

Aside of me not taking this competition to serious, dont having both is gonna end in a disaster, and this season is gonna be a super dificult one to know what is correct to do, because we ended the last one having a shit Haaland, but what if he comesback like the beast he was and you dont have him? The player selection box appears to be fixed. You no longer have to ping-pong navigate between the left and right side...instead, there is a drop-down menu on the left that is similar to what was previously available.

I guess all of the negative responses towards the new UI have forced FPL to make the change. It was truly hideous...

Are you sure it's on the left now? For me, everything is on the right. Which is good I guess, because that's how it was like last season.

After a couple of thought, I have scrapped my entire first draft leaving on a very few players, I think I'm going in with the similar I approach I would have if the chips weren't doubled.

All the names are actually very familiar, if you look at either the team name or the players name, I think from the screenshot, there is just only one name that I wouldn't recognize from last season.

Markettrasnfer is still working so im not gonna make again the same mistake as otehr seasons and im gonna wait untilt he very last moment to build my team, i dont want to dismantle it all because of a very late transfer. Is super painfull.

If i feel confident i can maybe take a side bet.

Damn, this will be one expansive season. After paying for all the pools I have to also put aside money for all these side bets. That's my practice whenever I have a side bet in BTC, would be pissed if BTC gets to 500K and I have to pay them out. This way is I lose them I count them as lost as per current rate and if I win, well then is all good and I don't care  

In my mind, when I spend them, it's always $100 (I been having this mindset since the ATH in 2024) so yeah, winning anything next year could either mean I lost money if we do return to an expected bear... or I make even more. Yes, I'm expecting to win everything in about 9 months.

I really want to take part on all of that world of sidebets for this fantasy game but i cant, im very bad at it so i cant make the irrational decision of take part. Im gonna sit and see the fight from outside.

Im gonna be still participating in the pool that is for sure. Today or in this days im gonna send the payment and start to draft my players for my team.

Colwil and Maddison are also out with ACL and would miss majority if not all the new season, right now, I don't mind making and re editing my drafts, it just keeps me in the loop of how I'd want things to look, I might not have the same luxury of time when the time is almost near, and at least for now, I have 5-6 certain players that I know who would be in my squad for sure, barring any injury or transfer.

Hi everyone, I've read the rules and asked a few questions to icopress but I still don't understand why defenders of shitty teams have a better chance of getting points than defenders of liverpool or man city.

1. they usually park the bus instead of scoring goals. this leads to clean sheets.
2. full-backs are generally more likely to get assists than defenders.
3. less rotation risk helps a lot
4. this season, new defensive contributions rules will favor defenders who make a lot of clearances, tackles, interceptions etc.

In general, it is usually Liverpool and Arsenal defenders who end up obtaining the most points every season.

I have never seen a Man City defender in the top 10, except for Gvardiol. (There were others many years ago as well. But they have all left the club.)
