Note: FPL has gifted each manager unlimited transfers between GW16 and GW17 in a bid to help them work through the disruptive World Cup schedule. Therefore, there will be four moments during the season – excluding the Free Hit - when managers can make unlimited transfers.

• First Wildcard (between GW2 and GW16)
• World Cup Wildcard (before GW17)
• Final Wildcard (between GW18 and GW38)

GW winner free bet rules

GW winner is a person with most points in that round. Chips count and your minus points from transfers are substracted from total. As per official rules.


We have a couple of people that did not yet pay and some of them are in the league. They are not eligible for free bets. If you don't pay before the official game deadline, you are not competing for free bets.

It was about time we get a Fantasy pool as well. I feel like there isn't many Fantasy lovers here on the forum but I am sure this pool will help convert some more people. Fantasy is hell of a fun and once you get hooked, there is no going back. This will be my 7th season and it is getting better and better.

but, doubt that we will have more than 10 participants here, there is a lot of pools at the moment, and close to zero new users

this season should be better than previous in fantasy, and hopefully Everton will fight for Europe, not to avoid relegation

I'm curious to see how many people will join and how much interest there is in fantasy sports in this forum.

I find FPL and Fantasy Sports in general not to be beginner-friendly, since you always have to be on top of recent events/news and go over a ton of stats before every gw, that's of course if you want to play competitively and win your mini-leagues. My personal goal this year is to get OR 10k or better, i was not that far away last season, just have to clean up a few things.

Anyways, i've sent out the entry fee and a pm!

Personally, I've signed up for EPL fantasy football twice in the last three years but have only played for about 2-3 months each time. I get bored easily.

Well, this pool differs from the rest in that it is intended for a narrow circle of people, a pool in which we make joint decisions. So I'll talk to the betting CEO and I think he won't mind adding a couple of extra free bets (but this feature will only work from September).

So .. addition to the rules ... whoever scores the most points in a particular round can qualify for a free bet (40$).

That is very nice addition to the pool since there probably won't be many of us.

Just to make things 100% clear when you add this info to OP also add something like "after transfer points deduction". That is how official site counts points and only right way but there is always somebody who forgets that you have 1 free transfer and every other costs -4 points.

I do watch football but know very little about individual players, I guess you can call me a very surface fan in that sense only good for easy 1x2 gambles and very bad for anything extra

Not at all, create account on official premier league fantasy page and then start asking questions.
 
When you create account you will have to enter your team. Don't worry at this stage, you can change players for free until the first match starts. So have fun and try to come up with your team. Then post it here and we will tell you some obvious mistakes you made and there will be quite a lot of them if you never played fantasy.

Fantasy is all about players, you don't care about match result as long as your player scores well. For instance Fulham losses the game 8:3 and you are super happy since you have Mitrovic who scored 2 goals and assisted one even though they got destroyed.

Took me several days to try and figure out my premier league site issues, had some trouble with the password and then when trying to reset it just wouldn't let me (I entered a new password but the site just refreshed each time).
