It is sort of a bragging right in FPL community, lower the ID the better. Nothing really important.

I hate the new design, the most frustrating thing ever is when people unnecessarily tinker with the things that are working.
I have a curved ultrawide screen, I feel like I'm watching tennis from the 1st row trying to put a team together.

You’re not alone on that, way too much color and everything seems to be everywhere. Feels as though it’s lifted to my face. Don’t see why they had to redesign except for some means to redistribute finance elsewhere.

Already signed up with my old details but, haven’t signed any players yet. Would think my choices through in the coming days.

My ID is somewhere around 85k, I honestly do not like new website it feels completely out of sorts, quite lagging and it won't even load properly on my go to browser, so now I'd have to be stuck with using chrome  

On the flipside, I think I actually like the app on iOS better, although some things are currently not working on that as well e.g. the FDR, Fixture difficulty rating page is just blank and won't show a thing.

As for a team, I still have zero clue on any player that is guaranteed a starting spot in my team, I should be able to come up with my first draft before the week ends.

I'm not the only one I hate the new design so much. Like, why did they even move the transfer block to the left? I still don't feel comfortable with it. Also, the search isn't convenient at all.
The few things I do like are the new colors and the pretty funny AI-generated badge (though mine is still under long moderation).

This season, a few changes will be implemented:
1) the Assistant Manager chip has been removed
2) the Wildcard, Free Hit, Triple Captain, and Bench Boost chips can now be used twice per season — once between Gameweeks 1–19, and once between Gameweeks 20–38
3) defenders, midfielders, and forwards will now receive a capped bonus of +2 points for defensive contributions (if they make 10 or more tackles or ball recoveries in a game, as I understand it)

Not bad to see the defenders and defensive midfielders having the chance to grab more points thanks to his real job which is tackels and recovering balls. The bad thing is 10 is quite a large number.

The double on triple captain seems a little bit excessive if you ask me.

About the assitant manager maybe it was better to have one for the whole season, and if he is dismissed put another one.

Finishing above my ID would be a quite a stretch if I’m being honest, I strongly doubt it, especially with a lot of new changes, it’s like I’d have to learn how to play again, but I’m super certain you’re not finishing above me, how about that for a brag 🤤

Considering I finished 2nd place last season and I was around 130k+ overall, I think the winner of our mini league should be around 70k-80k, I'm not sure, but I doubt we've had a winner here that finished inside the top 2k, I'd like to be wrong about that though.

Definitely need to rethink a lot of things with Mbeumo in United (and actually now he's a striker?) Didn't dig too deep in it yet but I hope they keep things as much as possible similar. Hard to get over the learning curve in the first place, never mind tweaks and changes etc. Leeds has to be where the value is, is my initial thought.

There is no main draft. The reason is that I had so much trouble finding budget enablers in any position besides GK. FPL really jacked up the price of all the cheap enablers this season.

And then without any enablers, Salah, Isak, and 2x 6.0 DEF really constrains who I can buy. For example, I really wanted Bruno Fernandes but I couldn't figure out how to make space for him without adding relegation players to my squad. He is clearly better than Morgan Rogers.

All of the defenders I wanted are 6.0-5-5, or rarely 5.0. The MIDs are all mostly 7.5+ too, and forward options this year have been butchered.

It's very tough to find a balance with picking this year, I hate the prizes I'm not going to lie, but at least it kind of guarantees that no one is going to be able do full premium like last season, it's almost impossible to have Salah Palmer or Saka and Haaland this season except you'll be having a bunch of 4.0 and 4.5 DF and MF with zero playing minutes.

I think I'll be on the safest chase for the first few rounds, usually FPL templates shape itself out after once everyone start hitting the first wildcard, which is now even made more easier.

I still don't have my first draft, after pick just a few 8m FWs and 7.5 MDs I ran out of proper budget so, I hit the reset button and I'm back to my auto selected team.

Another rant about how shitty this FPL update is, it logs you out automatically every now and despite being force to used a different browser solely for it, and it's an eyesore making transfer, you'll have to keep switching in between pages, you can even view the entire player list in a position in the transfer page without selecting a player to transfer out, the list goes on and on... @buwaytress's UCL website is more user friendly
than this
