I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?
How do I know which bounty campaign to participate in? I think there is no way to know. It's more about luck here. If you are not lucky, you may not receive a reward at the end of the bounty campaign. Also, it remains an open question whether coins will be worth anything at all received as a reward for participation. It may turn out that the project will cease to exist and their coins will not acquire any value. Your work and efforts in both cases will be in vain.

There's presently a lot of scams in bounty campaigns. It's either people responsible for the bounty campaign failed to generate bounty hunters rewards or fail to have strong community. Perhaps some bounty campaigns still pays but it's probability is very low compared to those scam bounties. There are so many things to know it's they will run away with their rewards, although it's usually luck if you get rewarded after their campaign ended and his legit.

Well, you can do some research about the project before participating although there's no guarantee that the campaign you participate is good but better than doing nothing at all. Some campaign managers already escrowed the funds so there's a big guarantee that your bounty reward will be sent but what we want is "getting paid and the token is worth something". Since many tokens that were sent to our wallet didn't have any worth and ended up scamming so yeah that's a little hard to get good bounties.

Since 2018 I have not heard of any project with a good promotion by holding a Bounty. Until now, on average, most projects are not very well-known, and are not worth the results obtained. Because many new projects fail and many do not have a price for the rewards given as gifts from bounty. Although it is not all, but I think there are many bad things at the moment. Maybe bounty is similar to gambling, because we don't know their future. Analysis is sometimes also wrong.  IMO

Not all bounties that fails to pay all all their participants, many bounty campaign do pay all their participants and  it's a few of them that do not pay participants and sometimes it happens to signature campaign in service board. so I believe that the percentage of bounty signature campaign that pay her participants is higher than the one that do not pay participants.

The best option is the signature campaign with fixed payment on BTC. But, this needs more hard work because we will have a very tight competition to be the participants. But if it is about bounty campaigns with native tokens or coins as rewards, it will never give you a guarantee if they are worthy and paid or not. Sometimes, they are very legit and worthy to participate with high earning. But sometimes, they are worthless and have no price or even not getting rewards even after working for months.  In my opinion, it is better for you to focus on building your account and making good contributive posts so that you can be able to rank up and qualify for the signature campaign. But once more, the main focus right now is not for earning money, focus on reading ay infomration here, learning more from any source, and also building exactly your account not to be shit-poster.

I don't believe now in bounty with start-up projects after experiencing low-quality standards. They just want to make hype and tease investors about their worthless and fantasy project and I think they are not serious with what they are trying to offer. It is so rare now to find at least a good bounty, most of them are just copying other concepts. I'd rather joined on a bounty program with an existing and well-established coin or platform.

None, if you ask me. Still if you are willing to stretch it, go with the reputable managers. Do keep in mind that often the most well known managers have been fooled and they even had to pay out of their pockets to cover the payments for the participants and shut down the campaign.

So if you are willing to get into some project that is worth your time, grow your post habits to a decent quality and once you reach enough merits to go for a rank, attempt to join a signature campaign, while again working to develop your posting habits.

Altcoins are born to fail and bitcoin is the only long term thing. This evident everywhere in the crypto sphere.

Can't really know for sure. The only thing that's honestly worth the time is signature campaigns, or you get a job instead. Bounties have mostly been a waste of time for a while now.

Bounty don't  not really pay like before, most bounties that are run currently are just scam project maybe that's why most reputable bounty managers are not really managing any project currently. We are currently in bear market so most coin won't really want to market their coins now because they believe people won't buy, I believe before you can see few projects that will pay well now is when their is bull run. Also most bounties always pay less because lots of people are now cheating in bounty campaigns, you will see one user with 5 - 10 accounts which is always against the campaign rules. so if you are having just one account you will receive just little amount. I think the best thing the OP should do is just to rank up and join a signature campaign and just forget about bounty.

In my opinion the most important factor is the campaign manager, most of those campaigns that do not pay their members are managed by newbie campaign manager or by the owners of the campaigns themselves, so they have nothing to lose if the campaign turns to be a scam, however if the campaign is managed by someone that has spent years trying to do a good job as a campaign manager then they have something to lose and as such they will make their best effort so their participants are paid.

Newbie or experienced one which still it could really still end up on getting not paid on all the works that you have done and into those bounty members that you had chosen because it would all vary with the
team itself if they would really be paying or not in the end of the said bounty.

Even if you are a good manager if they are intending or having changed plans about not paying then including you would really be also on the list on not getting paid but as manager you should
really do your part on introducing good projects but of course due to lots of projects in the market this would really be always the challenge.

AS a bounty hunter then the best thing to be done is to make some in depth research on a project and decide whether its worth or not.

I think that's because there are less or no ico's after it. I noticed that most of those ico projects that conducts bounty are high paying compared to now but the only downside is that ico's are also very risky. A bounty hunter can work for 3 to 6 months and sometimes can't get paid because the ico have failed or the project is a scam. Bounty and gambling can be the same in terms of risk but if there are difference, that is bounties are done freely but in gambling you will need a capital to be able to earn.

@OP
The only way to know a good bounty is of course by doing some researching and then try to join bounties which are managed by high leveled/reputable members. Goodluck!

I don't their is anyway you can know if a bounty will pay or not, the only wey inwhich hunters can be assured of their payment is if the reward is been escrow by bounty manager. I know their are some reputable bounty managers in the forum which always make their research about about a project before they accept to run a bounty for them, but even those managers still fail to get hunters their payment. If you want to participate in bounty campaign always make sure you work with a reputable bounty managers I believe that will help you.
The knowledge of understanding the bounty that is real and the one that is fake bounty can not be easily be detectable by any of the participants. The only person who can detect it is the manager who the contract is been given to manage the contract, because from the deal the manager can sense some atoms of fake management or lack of fund capacity to carry on the campaign. So manager is the person who will voice out the campaign is fake if the fund is been given before launching of the campaign.

Perhaps, this was a big problem now as we don't have any tool to help us know if that particular bounty is legit or a scam (exit scam). Even doing deep research on the project/bounty can't give us 100% assurance that it will become successful and make payment to all promoters. Now, it was really hard to trust them as even the Bounty Manager has been experiencing difficulties to determine it until it come to such point of knowing it was a scam when they are not active anymore

as mentioned above sometime research doesnot comes with a good suggestion.
I think if we are able to discover good tools than things will be a bit better for searchers.

It's not just some but most. Most of the bounties this day haven't lived up to expectations. In the past (I know of 2017/18) it wasn't so. Now, it doesn't matter who is managing it as even reputable campaign managers have all had their share of failed and scammed projects. So, you may not even get anything better by simply relying on a manager. I tell you, none of the managers can tell you of a bounty that is credible. Even whole managing these bounties, managers aren't too sure. In the past I used to think BMs could be used as yardsticks for picking and enrolling in bounties. Sadly, this day, exposure has taught veteran members otherwise and that's why you hardly see high ranked constructive users in bounties. Enrolling in bounties is more of an unmitigated risk.

However bounty managers still can play a small role and be a guarantee of distribution or success. Managers than escrow rewards have a bit higher success rate, yet escrow is not a real solution, as projects are ready to send reward to bounty manager, but often dont send him funds for distribution.

I would suggest not expect much from bounty participation. Consider it as getting a food sample in shop before buying a product. You can try, but you cant beat hunger with food samples. Participate, but dont expect a tiny reward.

Reputable or known managers could really make some impact on bounty's success or payment which they could really able to make up some follow up on project team about on the said payment
but if we do speak about value of the coin then its none of their control thats why as a bounty hunter then you should really make out some research on which project does have potential
and would really be worth for your time and effort on advertising them or making out some exposure. No one could really make out some precise point out on which one considering
on how many projects currently in the market and into those who are newly launching or funding then it would be the toughest thing of all.

That is perhaps what they are doing and they report projects that are likely to scam (any members can do as well). Their participation is very important knowing that they know more about the developer before deciding to run and manage the campaign.

Bounty is likely a dying market promotion, only a few people and most newbies are participating in this which is not really effective.
Just like the other said that participating bounties are just a waste of time and you have no assurance of getting rewards after. Of if there is but unfortunately, it just got stuck on your wallet because it can't be traded.

IMO
2016-2017 was the greatest time of bounties - many people and hunters got rich during that time but after that, the rest of the coming bounties seem worthless and scams. That I think the next generation of bounties could be worse.
Thus, if we are into participating in them or having a plan, we better not continue as it was only a slim chance to find good bounties and pays decent rewards to the participants.
