Bitcoin have been in existence but it's our ignorance that have led us astray and make us lose big opportunities. It's very important we know how to cope with Bitcoin because it have come to stay.
It was a great and important lesson for all of us and we have learned a lot since then. I think it all also made a lot of sense in a global perspective.

I've known Bitcoin since 2012 but started using it in 2019, though it was still for payments (funding and withdrawal) of online Forex trading, nothing more because I was careful to deal with something that might aid illegality. I later discovered that I was naive at that time, the latest development/revolution in Bitcoin made me ever feel bad and I had lost a lot of opportunities in the past to this.

The lesson learned was that it is better to move closer to what is new to us than to be condemning it from afar. Can you imagine that despite having enough money to invest in the cryptocurrency between 2019 -2021, I was adamant that I wouldn't because I believed Bitcoin aids legalities like trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, activities of drug barons, and many more. I forgot to think that as it has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages, no system works perfectly.

Thanks to the present-day awareness, development and regulations that make it clear that Bitcoin is not as porous as I thought. 95% of my only transactions are now crypto-based.

I love to read your stories about Bitcoin adoption too!

I actually know what the pain is when you miss the train. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2010. Back then I was too naive as I did not bothered to investigate about it and promptly dismissed it due to thinking it was all but a scam. That was a big mistake as later in 2013 I got in and it was late... I ended up missing some good deals to it.

Almost every person who is interested in the bitcoin must feel similarly about the missed opportunity to buy it in the distant past, when it was very cheap. Personally, I didn't consider bitcoin a scam, even when I knew nothing about this technology and this crypto coin, except for the name. At that time, I simply didn't understand what it was and therefore didn't see a future for this. That is why I kept putting off the opportunity to learn more about btc.

This is almost the same as the case that I experienced because indeed in the previous few years I was also in a scope that did lead to rejection of bitcoin because I was in a bank environment at that time and prioritized fiat of course so I could be said to be anti-bitcoin.

But when I started to explore this matter and didn't just see it from one point of view it turned out that my view at that time was actually off the mark because I didn't really know that so my thoughts at that time were only negative things that were in bitcoin.
I'm new to bitcoin because indeed I learned from mid-2020 but in this case I don't really regret what I did because I still feel that it's never too late for this.

Honestly, a lot of cryptocurrency enthusiasts you see day will have something 1 or 2 they wish they didn't do when they first hear about Bitcoin.
I heard about BTC in November 2009. I thought it was some of the shady things but I later join the crypto scheme through a scam altcoin which is dead now.
After starting my crypto journey the second mistake I made is Roi investment aka MMM Japan and leaving my BTC on the faucet site although those BTC were nothing then but it's worth something now.

You have been a lot longer and can be said to have followed from the beginning and it is certain that you will get a lot of experience from this. There are always bound to be some mistakes that are made and maybe almost everyone has felt this when they were here but indeed this was a good experience and of course this is something that can be useful for the future because we can sort out what is good and what is not for now .
So that in this case I can also conclude that people who don't like it sometimes are those who don't know about this which are only consumed by the news that exists about bitcoin and of course I am included in that basically but when I feel it and it's been little by little a little understanding of this will be something that is very contrary to the news that was skewed at first.

There are indeed lots of fraudsters that took advantage of the lack of information of people on Bitcoin and lots are got scammed.  Those who distanced themselves from Bitcoin during the early years can't be blamed because the regulation at those times are vague and Bitcoin was infamous during those times as a tool for money laundering.  Luckily, Bitcoin had proven itself today, and it isn't too late to join the community of Bitcoin enthusiasts.

I am glad I found Bitcoin way back in 2014, I never hesitated about BTC and now 100% of my online transaction is funded by, if not via, Bitcoin.

Miss the train, not anymore.
Bitcoin was at 68,000$ last year but now it is trading at 17K. So even if anyone missed the previous rally, he or she can still invest in bitcoin.
There is no excuse for anyone now that he missed the train. Buy bitcoin now at 17K and you are still in business.  Cool

Wow!! I'm really amazed to hear what you just said Sir. Because if you who joined the Bitcoin journey far back in 2013, could be referring it as late, so what will people who joined in 2019 till date then say? Because to be frankly speaking, it's actually a privilege having you still active on the forum as a pioneer of Bitcoin & forum since 2013 till date (i.e 9years later). Because if only you had bought just $100 Worth of Bitcoin back then in June 2013, by today you would have been on a steady cashout of a whopping $17,000 (1 BTC)

Good for those who do able to held up for long but we know that all did really be able to do so and some of them did really be able to sell out on the time that it had increase its price for 100% or more.

Being pioneer doesnt really mean that they do always have that positive experience and some of them cant really be able to get out with that kind of deep inside regret that they should have got a good hold

with their coins. No one really knows on what would be the future looks like and this is where we do really miss out those golden opportunities and doesnt matter
if you are a pioneer or not since action results will really be depending on how you had able to make out such step.

Actually, being a pioneer should made someone aware of the advantages and disadvantages of something, perhaps bitcoin in this instance. Being too optimistic about a certain investment will never be advisable especially if the 'downside' is really obvious because gauging and measuring actions regarding investments would be affected. We don't need to gaslight this technology's flaws such as market price volatility, inaccessibility across majority of countries and more. On the other hand, we can make an advantage out of disadvantage such as with the volatility wherein it made cryptocurrencies profitable as an investment. Another thing is ATH breakage; if you're an old dude in this industry, you can create patterns inspite of inconsistencies.

I understand your dilemma and maybe we all went through it a bit at the beginning because often what obscures us is the misinformation made by the mass media.  We get carried away by bad news and our mind is almost paralyzed because it can't see anything but the negative side of which they have shown us.  Fortunately for the more educated, those who like to dig and not stop in front of illusions, it happens that they suddenly understand what the real purpose of Bitcoin is and begin to see it from another point of view.  I like to think that I am finally free from the intermediary and not a slave to the financial model.

Some people still think that Bitcoin is a "Ponzi scheme", and some people still think that Bitcoin is a good investment method. This is entirely because everyone's thinking and the things they come into contact with are different. Some people learn about Bitcoin through some media publicity, while others learn about Bitcoin through introductions from friends and family. What they know about Bitcoin is one-sided, and the real concept of Bitcoin still needs to be understood by everyone. Even if it is me, I will not say that I fully understand Bitcoin. Blockchain technology is great and we need to keep learning.

I learned about Bitcoin in 2021, but I didn’t choose to invest directly when I first learned about Bitcoin. Later, after understanding the advantages and characteristics of Bitcoin through the Internet, I became interested in Bitcoin and then invested, because I Saw his potential.

I'm new to bitcoin because indeed I learned from mid-2020 but in this case I don't really regret what I did because I still feel that it's never too late for this.

That's precisely what I think because regret doesn't bring us back to the past, but let's take that as a lesson and find a way to fix it, so we don't have to regret it in the future. Although the price of bitcoin is now many times higher than when we first learned about it, that does not mean that bitcoin will no longer rise, if we look further into the future, the bitcoin price will be much higher than it is now. So we should take advantage to hold, we can still have a promising future like early bitcoin holders.

Yes, old mistake makes us learn some lessons which may be somehow useful for the future but it would have been better if does mistake didn't happen and this is how I feel every time I remember the story I explained above. Do you know how much my portfolio would have worth now?
This is the reason why I dont believe much in megative news until I do my own findings and confirm what people are saying is true.

We all have our own stories and experience to share. Every single minute that passes comes with a new technology and innovation. These are like the daily happenings and events around us. We choose to upgrade or be left behind which I believe non of us would want to be left behind.

When I first heard of Bitcoin years past, I thought it was the normal gimmicks of scammers to steal funds but I never knew it was a different boiling game altogether. It was later on I realized it was genuinely but I was closely monitoring it to see how it goes because of the terrible experience I had then so because of that occurrence I became skeptical of online activities when it comes to funds and assets but at last I was free of those thoughts.

When a new thing comes on board there is always different thoughts and responses from different people especially for something that it is the first of it kind. Am sure you weren't the only person with such thought about it, many of us that have come to see the light about crypto did had our fair share of negative feeling somehow but today we are now making testimonials and engaging others that are still in the dark about cryptocurrency specifically bitcoin.

A beautiful lesson to learn here is that we shouldnt be in a hurry to judge a book and start breeding untrue ideas just by looking at the cover from afar. Cause the ideas we might breed might just be a delay to our opportunity of being exposed to something that would have changed our live even before it got viral but our fears and skepticism put us long in the tunnel.
