most of the anti bitcoins are those whose brains have been washed with fud news that only preach bad things associated with bitcoin. such as money laundering etc. whereas money laundering has occurred even before the birth of bitcoin. and now the spreaders seem to allege that because of bitcoin money laundering is happening a lot. and much more bad news that is over-attributed. thus making people afraid to go in and invest in bitcoin. even though if you look at the good things and the good impacts that have been born since the presence of bitcoin, there are far more positive and useful things than since the existence of bitcoin. but fud's news kept it hidden from the public. by hoarding good news with bad news.

I think you are not late. because the price of bitcoin is now in a downward trend. and it can make us less worried when we are going to invest money at the current price. by using DCA.

I have this kind of thoughts too when I was a newbie here but that doesn't discouraged me to explore more about Bitcoin specifically Blockchain because this is th technology that makes Bitcoin unique. It's not too late to start accepting Bitcoin because it’s just in the initial stage which many ups and down. More important is you realized its worth and its better than ignoring it completely for the rest of your life.

Most of us have the same experiences ,  but what is important thing to us? is that we learn sooner than what those other did like OP.
there are something we learn from this as we mostly checking the market and the experience we have to not falling to the same mistakes again.
I bought small amount of bitcoin back in the years , and all the profit I earn from my altcoin trading are going to my bitcoin holding , also some of my gambling winning stays in my bitcoin holding.

It depends on how we use something whether for ethical purpose or doing some illicit activities with it and people directly links bitcoin usage with illegal works as fiat is pure in these matters and nothing bad trade can happen with it but didn't know it's more easy to trace bitcoin transactions rather then fiat P2P one's as you can't tell which serial numbers notes are being used but still the negativity about btc is high.Until people understand it they will hesitate to use it but it's more safe.

The times are increasingly making us have to be able to adapt to existing developments, one of which concerns the investment model in cryptocurrencies, although there are still many people who use this space to cheat and commit crimes that are inappropriate and worth doing here.

You do know that fiat currency "aids" those criminal activities even more than bitcoin does. Why do you still use your fiat currency? Even stocks, real estates and metals are used to launder money, but I bet you would still invest in those if you have opportunities. Not every system is perfect and there will always be criminals that abuses the system for their advantage. That doesn't mean you would stop using it.

One of the ways you would have avoided this ignorance is by thinking same way about fiat, before the emergence of Bitcoin, all the crimes you mentioned above have been around, and still striving, and assuming there was no bitcoin, there will still be trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, drug trafficking and so on, the perpetrators of this evil acts will still a way to fund their evil activities, this is to tell you that bitcoin is not the reason why this crimes exist, they existed in a fiat system, I wonder why most people fall into this deception of bitcoin being a means through which crimes are being funded.

Do you mean since 2012 you haven't even tried to buy bitcoin even with the small amount of capital you have? And did you pay more attention to Forex trading during those times? It's like you wasted 9 years of opportunity that I hope somehow you could have collected a large amount of money for your savings. But even so, it's not too late because if you are one of those who believe that bitcoin will be 100k$ each or more in the future, you still have a great chance to succeed in the crypto space.

Is this Bitcoin that is being used for crimes? No, every territory has their own laws to cater the menace of the above mentioned crimes in their own jurisdiction but the main concerns about Bitcoin to restrict its involvement in these crimes may be worked separately by the cyber crimes agencies. As we know that despite being using the digital assets, required cash is transferred to our accounts in FIAT that's why person who is buying the crypto in Fiat must be aware of these rules.

At first, people would demonize what they do not understand. I have heard so many people call bitcoin a scam. Or some were afraid to invest and invested too little only to find out later of it's potential.There are still bad actors who use perpetrate crimes using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. However it doesn't mean that it hasn't been used to further some good causes all over the world. It's good that you have a clearer and better understanding of what bitcoin truly is now.
