Why I Disliked Bitcoin

I started to know about bitcoin way back 2016 during my studies. I was looking for side hustles that time and my friend introduced me to cryptocurrencies. I learned some basics of trading which helped me a lot to earn some extra money that I can add to my allowance. Up until now, bitcoin and crypto has been my extra source of income because my salary is just enough to cover my priorities.

I started my journey with bitcoin in middle years of 2016 and have been my passive income with cryptocurrency as trading and investor until nowadays, not have space for me why have dislike with bitcoin although with several time got loss when investing suddenly price drop. Bitcoin have been light in my journey how I spent my daily activities by trading only without have other real working.

I am thankful with my friend introduced me to cryptocurrency and helped my financial freedom when I know about bitcoin and altcoin, I think no space for me why disliked bitcoin because half of my achievements right now source from cryptocurrency as trading or another passive income way trough bitcoin trader.

What a good story attached with luck! I envy people like you who could take the risk at that time. I always regret it when I look back in relation to what Bitcoin achieved a few years ago. I might be nearing my 1 billion dollars now judging by the money I have for investment at that time if I had invested them all in BTC.

Agree with the answers here! Bitcoin has a reputation for being bad. Because it is being used by some people for evil purposes. But this is strange rhetoric as if people do not want to delve deeper into the topic and draw conclusions only on information that gives cryptocurrency a bad side. And completely ignoring the positive aspects. A good example is the transfer of funds between countries. Translation speed. Inflation protection. And I just started listing the positives.

I must refute that this bad rhetoric about Bitcoin is not strange and is still there. Although, if one could move closer, they will know that the benefits of using Bitcoin outweigh the cause of any reservation about using it. Bitcoin is a very good development that needs more awareness for more adoption. Yet, the world's government has a lot to do to regulate it in their possible way to make it safer and appreciated more.

I've known Bitcoin since 2012 but started using it in 2019, though it was still for payments (funding and withdrawal) of online Forex trading, nothing more because I was careful to deal with something that might aid illegality. I later discovered that I was naive at that time, the latest development/revolution in Bitcoin made me ever feel bad and I had lost a lot of opportunities in the past to this.

When you have seen and feel that you are losing a lot of your assets on Forex why do you continue, you should think about looking for another trade and move your assets there, that way you will not lose a lot of assets that you had in that time. Never blame Bitcoin for the risk you get at that time, because it is purely your own fault, before investing you should see and understand which market is good to invest in Bitcoin.

Did you read my posts clearly? I did not shift the blame of Forex trading on Bitcoin, how would I do that? I was only having my reservation due to the negative things perceived of it which are still genuine till today. Only that they do not matter to me anymore as I am determined to continue to earnest the good aspect of the crypto and make myself blind to the bad part.

Why they cant just turned their necks and look back on what fiat had also been able to attained when it comes on being a tool for most illegal transactions made of? It is really just part of bad publicity
on which they are really that too focus on Bitcoin and this is what make things looks bad specially into those people who dont know about Bitcoin.They would be having that first bad impression
but later on or sooner or later they would really able to realize that these things are totally not true at all.People do really just made out things to make it look bad.

my thinking is worse when I know/know what bitcoin is and am very pessimistic that it will go forward and be worth more than 100$, it turns out that my guess was wrong that btc reached more than 100$ within 10 years, and I am very sorry for ignoring my friend's invitation to buy btc earlier

If you were told by someone that bitcoin is good, you would not believed it which you have already did. But you personally dislike it and experience the it good evidences from other users and became interested in it the more. We thank God that you it lately not late. I forgot to think that as it has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages, no system works perfectly.

I never jumped to conclusions pal, I only had my reservations at that time. And if you must know, most of these reservations linger till today, only that I don't care about most of them anymore. The better regulations and more traceable transactions of Bitcoin these days help me better to under-weigh the negative side of it.

If you are someone who doesnt have much idea on what Bitcoin or crypto is then you would really be likely on having these sentiments which you would be pertaining mostly into its cons without even trying to look back on what fiat had done or been used when it comes to these illegal activities which its been used as a tool to launder money or any other means correlated to that which same
goes on Bitcoin too.People cant really just tend to look on the bigger picture and making out direct conclusions without even trying to look back about its utility and its feature aspect.

The OP never said he lost a lot of assets on forex trading rather the OP uses bitcoin for funding of forex account as well as withdrawal but instead of investing the profits earned in bitcoin, the OP was very sceptical of illegality of bitcoin that time, that was the regrets, there are other categories of investors who doubted the credibility of bitcoin that time, it was after the 2017 ATH that was when investors and other crypto enthusiast who ought to have invested in bitcoin then but shun it started to regret about there sad experiences of having that opportunity of investing in it earlier.

Not only OP but you should know that most people will make the same decision at that time, even you in that situation will be like us. When something is so new, people tend to be suspicious and distrustful, even the first bitcoin miners were uncertain about its future let alone the likes of us.

It's funny how many investors nowadays say why the first people to accept bitcoin didn't hold bitcoin until now, you won't regret it until you see it as successful as it is today. The future of bitcoin has always been an unknown, even now there is no guarantee.

To me I have always viewed Bitcoin as something that only those with millions of dollars can participate in. And if you don't have then you shouldn't even consider involving yourself in it.  Even though I heard about it earlier I refused to learn more about it due to my mindset it wasn't until I came across an article by mistake that made me understand what Bitcoin truly is, and that changed the mindset I have always had concerning Bitcoin.

But still I'm in the process of learning and it have been an amazing journey all through.

I know bitcoin in 2015 but focus on bitcoin in late 2017, I know I have missed many days because of my disbelief in bitcoin at that time, but now I have full faith in bitcoin, and so far bitcoin is the one that is immune to any conditions and will never rug.

It's not your fault alone. Those who didn't like Bitcoin earlier have now proved themselves fools like me. I was invited to Bitcoin by my friends in 2016, but I didn't like Bitcoin then and I never thought that Bitcoin would become so popular. And now I feel like a fool, because my friends invested in 2016 and now they're making huge profits that I couldn't be because I disliked them Bitcoin.Does that mean I still dislike Bitcoin? indeed a lot of people who tell their lives about bitcoin as you experience, namely you are invited by your friends to buy bitcoin. And I've felt the same way you feel. but of course now I'm starting to learn about bitcoin and will adopt bitcoin as much as possible. So basically it's never too late to buy bitcoin.

True! Fiat still aids illegalities, but it is much lower than what Bitcoin aids. A careful person like me can't just dabble into adopting such a coin without thinking about it over and over, especially when I have alternatives that are earning me income.

Frankly, the reason for my reservation is right, and I was only sceptical to adopt what could aid some illegalities. This made me avoid it rather than the good side of it that could benefit me. Well, the opportunities are still there and my regret was not much, do you know why? I have good plans for my Bitcoin investment, which weighs more.

Not getting the right information on time is also one of the tough times making people to lose interest in cryptocurrency.Bitcoin have been in existence but it's our ignorance that have led us astray and make us lose big opportunities. It's very important we know how to cope with Bitcoin because it have come to stay. It's very good at least you were still early in the space, 2019, didn't have enough population in the space but it was increasing gradually, rather than 2020 which the population increase rapidly as everyone wanted to make money in Bitcoin.
