Another round in which I was unable to make my predictions. 

This time it wasn't because I forgot, it was because I didn't have the availability to do it. I will try not to fail the next round.

A good night for me in here as I got 4.5 points out of six and am very happy with my performance so far.Hopefully there are no surprise results in the games of tomorrow too as I see them highly unlikely especially Manchester City and also Real Madrid should win easily their games.I have also gone all in for Real Madrid in Pot B which I have very high expectations meanwhile I also thought to go all in for PSG but I was not convinced,at least I got them a nice exact score of 1-2 in this match which boosted my chances to end this season in a prize spot in Pot A.

Who would have doubted Bayern Munich qualifying for the quarter finals, and to top off they made everything look easy with this fixture. I must also commend the bookies on this one, as they weighed  Bayern for the right price and their game play did show how much fire power they had and Lazio showing no signs of resilience stood no chance! After this one, will the Germans be considered among the favourites, or this remains a battle between Real Madrid and Manchester City...

PSG through to the quarters but am not sure if they can go all the way as competition gets tougher...

Home advantage. Has any team ever made it through the knockout stage at Allianz Arena? To be honest, I had my doubts about Bayern making it to the next round following how Lazio performed in the first game combined with Bayern's recent league terrible form; I expected so much from Lazio that I even bet 5 points on them winning. They were so ass that I wondered how they got this far. The CL fell off because teams like Lazio should be competing in the Europa League.

And PSG, led by Mbappe, aren't particularly superb. I don't see any team stopping Manchester City from winning back the Champions League.

Went with a semi - surprise (Sociedad draw at home), lost 1,5 points and the overall lead.
With not many games to go, playing it safe will be quite important.

For our Pot B it was good to see that Lazio didn't get anything out of the game. Copenhagen's next one in line for massive points - but no way for that to happen.
The only real dange left is Porto - not sure how many people went for that one though. Would have been my no. 1 pick if I was chasing surprises.

I've tried to go through the whole list to look for people submitting different usernames than the one registered, I found 3 but if anyone sees points owed and not given (you can check the totals from main Excel sheet), please let me know.

May I also know how do you guys change your username so easily? I've requested a few times over the years -- just about gave up actually. buwaytress was a nonsense name I made up on the spot, and now it's become MY bitcointalk identity, spread out over crypto haha.

I have gone all in again this time for a clear favorite,not naming it here but in Pot B I like consistency over trying to hit 200 points at once,some people will hit it maybe but they will be very few compared to consistency which is key in climbing as many positions as needed in Pot B.

Consistency has always been key, but the current leader is there because he hit gold earlier. Something to think about for next season, if we do the same format.

What about Napoli! Barca got players injured in the last match. Will Pedri and De Jong play? As far as I know, they won't. Haven't checked the update yet. If they don't play, I think it will be a great chance for Napoli to win the match. Guess what? The odd for Napoli to win is 5! Not bad. I have already picked my Pot B selection including this one lol.

Unfortunately, I didn't check my current position on the Pot B until today and it was my surprise that I still have a chance to get in the top 10 after the last match day win! Let's hope Hhampuz lose points so we can chase him lol.

Hhampuz went the smart/safe route, he's taking this Pot I think. Good on him. I really like Napoli too actually, they will want something to soothe away the pain of giving up Scudetto so easily, they'll want to win this one.

Lazio is tasty, so is Porto. Are we ready for a night or two of major upsets? May the gods of football say so.

@I saw you submitted with seconds to spare! Don't worry, I've been correcting picks for everyone every round (you're welcome). Sometimes I miss them when the files was big but it's with only 8 games it's much easier for me to pick out errors.

I'm not a fan of Mbappe, but I'm happy that he has contributed to the victory of PSG yesterday by scoring two goals. The odds was a bit high for PSG in this match as they were leading by 2 - 0 by winning the first leg. I thought a few many times before staking my 10 points on PSG, and now I'm happy with my final decision.

Oh damn, sorry I didnt know that using different usernames will really mess things up. I thought you count it manually though, wont happen again in the future  . For the record, I think I started using different name since 1 or 2 gameweek so I guess it wont matter much for me because iirc I didnt get any point from those. If Napoli won then I guess you will need manually input mine there, cross your fingers !

The issue with PSG is that their league is weak, so they don't have to preserve energy like most other clubs do. Look at City - they have Liverpool for the weekend and are without 5+ starters whereas PSG was fired up for the game which I did not take into account.

I missed the PSG 2.7 - I don't know how I missed that. I'm in a position where only risk can get me where I want to be. Yesterday I tried 5x12 against Bayerm and failed. I need to hit one 10+ odds before final.

Man Arsenal has no business in the Champions League, they're only participating....; they've already lost their first tough game (against Porto) and are drowning. If they make it past Porto, they may not survive the next big gun.

The problem with Real Madrid is injury management, which Manchester City excels at; unlike Real Madrid, their top players are always available for tough games.

Finally I have some points on the board after 5 or is it 6 consecutive game weeks without any, too bad I didn't go all in on PSG, it would have been worth it at least to a very reasonable extent, but I can't complain much since I know what it feels like to go with zero points for consecutive weeks.

That being said, I also could make use for a shocker for Man City, I really wouldn't mind except there is some players going all in on them, then I wouldn't want that because that'd be of more disadvantage than advantage to me.

not sure what to think, but City should win over Copenhagen, even with an announced team, and TBH expect to see goals from Alvarez and Haaland tonight
Real is another story, Leipzig is not an easy cake, and they will try to score, so this should go on over2.5 as well, to be seen what will happen

That should be one of the easiest match to predict and like you said, a lot of people got it right. If care is not taken, PSG may finally lift the trophy this year amid rumors of Kylian Mbappe exit from the team. This may be what he will be remembered for in the team, hence the effort his is putting as evident in him scoring in both legs of their encounter with Real Sociedad. I have watched Mbappe closely in several matches including the last world cup and I noticed a major difference between his performance before and during the champions league matches. That can only mean that he wants to keep a record. So a match was never an option for me in that match.

Real Madrid is not playing well at all and I doubt they can win against this Leipzig which seem to be dangerous in attack and they are surely leaving space behind for Real Madrid which Real Madrid simply is not using.They seem relaxed Real Madrid and it is exactly when you feel like that,pretty relaxed that things can go south when you least expect,that is why I think they need to score 1 or 2 goals and to close this game and stop making Leipzig dreaming about a possible qualifier.Judging how things are going though,Real players getting booked show that they are just nervous and this is absolutely not a good sign at all.

Real - Leipzig was really good one to watch with unknown outcome until final minutes. Leipzig played great game, while Real weren't very impressive, and Leipzig were so close from sending game to ET at least.
City - Copenhagen, even without some main players City repeated score of first game and won 3:1 again. But 99% of us probably didn't expected something different.

Real Madrid I watched the game and it looked like they had directive from above to not win this game,the referee was clearly favoring in a super huge way Leipzig and it was one of those thousand cases where VAR serves for nothing as sometimes this referee stopped counterattacks that could have been translated into goals.I know with more than 100% assessment that Real will go down and be eliminated no matter who their next adversary is going to be,I have absolutely 0 doubts about this,how come a team like Real Madrid who won comfortably away and dominated the game at Leipzig could not do so in their home.Something is very very wrong in here,gambling has ruined football,I see no other explanation to this result,Real even risked in the last minute to go down and they were lucky Leipzig hit the post.

I was undecided which of the two matches Real Madrid vs Leipzig and Dortmund vs PSV I should play for a draw. I decided to dedicate all the stakes to the Dortmund match, thinking that the Dortmund match would be closer. I hope I don't regret it because I could have made 5 stakes for both matches. This is obviously my mistake, if I pass this week empty, it seems like the gap will widen. I honestly think the Dortmund -PSV match will end 1-1 but a possible red card could change everything.
