I just checked the result of Pot A,absolute quietness,everybody did like everybody else meaning they only got a point either from Arsenal draw or from Real draw,I personally got it from Real draw although I am very unhappy for Pot B in which so far I got 0 points yet I have Atletico to win against Dortmund tomorrow which should be some easy task comparing their recent form in the Champions League and not their La Liga form,they should be able to get a narrow win and I am sure not so many goals will be scored in tomorrow games compared to tonight games.

Seeing 2 draws was totally not expected from my side, especially that many goals, where one would expect that both teams start rather slow their first leg game by playing it safe and trusting their defense in general. But it looks like they went outright attacking...
Let's see how todays games will be played: rather slow and focussed on defense or we will see another goal festival.

Freaking stupid Bayern Munich!!! They just really can't keep their shit together and nose clean, can they ? Same here, I put 5 stakes on Bayern trusting their Champions Leage focus because basically Bayern is not a contender in the German Cup and Leage anymore and they will have focus on Champions Leage to win a title this season.
Really sad that Bayern conceded that late goal and / or didn't score themselves after Arsenal's equalizer.

IIRC I put some points on Barcelona today and I'm 99% sure that I have it on Atletico. Going to put some real money on Barca tonight, wouldn't say that PSG are looking so scary now. But I wouldn't be very disappointed with draw in away game.
Atletico - Dortmund, I predict that it will be typical Atletico game - defensive, low scoring and not the most beautiful to watch. I hope that I'm wrong.

Atletico usually plays those type of games with strong opponents and I don't think Dortmund is a strong one despite coming this far in the Champions League I have seen nothing convincing from them except being the most opportunistic team during this season and taking profit of any goal opportunity that they had (I have in mind group games against Newcastle here).Atletico against such a team I am sure they will be playing a careful football yet a surely attacking one which I hope to be entertaining as this is the game I am choosing to watch from tonight Champions League games.Hopefully we don't end up with draws in both games like yesterday night as the pool resulted stalled in points from such results,I believe more home teams to be winning tonight.

Also I had 1 point from Real draw yesterday yet in today games Barcelona surprised us all considering the game was dominated by Paris most of the time although statistics say it was an equal first half.I watched both games simultaneously and for the second half I am choosing to watch Paris.I believe they have the power,the players and skill to turn things around during this second half,if they want to fancy a chance to go further in the competition they need to absolutely win this game and hope for the best in the return leg which will be very difficult playing at Barcelona's home.

Dortmund did wake up last 15 minutes and I think in the second half they may be will score one goal to close the gap and hope for the best in the return leg,one of the best Atletico players,Samuel Lino will not play the return leg because of yellow card so chances are real for Dortmund if they manage to score tonight.

After yesterday's results, I think am neutral on these games because so many surprises of late and am not ready for dramatic finishes!

Already I had Barcelona to win and looking at current results they are drawing with PSG which feels like deja vu as its giving a similar result as yesterdays draws   but experience should pull Barcelona through.

And only consolation am getting is an Athletico Madrid win and BVB should be the weakest link as far as am concerned , sorry BVB fans

But after that, reaction was great and 2 Xavi substitutions delivered 2 goals. And not sure what happens to Donnaruma in crucial games like this - he was weakest part of PSG today, such lack of confidence.
Atletico played perfect game, dominated, but they can blame themselves for not scoring 3rd goal. One mistake, goal of Borussian and it's huge game-changer before 2nd leg in Dortmund.

At least I got an exact score for Atletico Madrid and also about 11 points in Pot B from that game too,boy that 95 minute post from Dortmund could have made me go home with 0 points in both pots,I am relatively happy and I cannot understand how PSG that played great and still lost so many chances while Barcelona had clinical finishes 2 times with Raphinha.

The games of today surely were more entertaining than those of yesterday,Barcelona vs PSG was the best to watch of course yet Atletico vs Dortmund was a very very entertaining game with Dortmund that took the brakes of the game since the minute 33 and they dominated since then,Atletico lost a clamorous chance to go 3-1 with Samuel Lino and so we will have very much open return games except PSG I believe which should be already eliminated.

Guys I went with the bonus bet for the Bayern Munich - Arsenal game, saying that there will be a penalty shootout after the 2nd leg. I can't recall the wording exactly, but the pick would win if the 2nd leg ends with a penalty shootout is that correct?

As I am dead in the water anyway, I thought at odds of 8.0 this would be pretty much the only slightly realistic pick that could bring me up in the rankings! And to be honest I do like my pick a little bit. Though others are still far ahead, but it would give me two more moonshot possibilities in the semifinals and the final.

The Arsenal draw I think was impacted greatly by the referee,the Swedish referee that in at least two occasions should have called for VAR especially in the last minute of the game opportunity for Saka,it looked like he tripped before being touched by Bayern defender but all the commentators in both Sky Sport and Spanish TUDN channel called for a penalty,it should have absolutely been a penalty this last occasion for Arsenal,yet another proof that UEFA/FIFA is not doing much in punishing these types of overbearing referees,they are screwing games at such high level like a quarter final of the Champions league and nothing is being made,they do not give an absolute shit about VAR technology which is there to fix their errors,despite an entertaining game something is terribly wrong with these referees.

Well actually the entire backline excluding Mendes was pretty bad eventhough they had the upperhand on the overall possession but it was mainly Vitinha doing his job. Gotta give credit to Xavi on how his strategy seems to work because Mbappe wasnt doing any shit in this game. It was a pretty interesting game overall tonight, totally cant wait for the 2nd leg

In Atletico Madrid Dortmund game i need one more goal for Atletico but seeing the highlights i can say it can be also a draw in the end Dortmund miss some clear chances with a few woodwork hits.

Most of my points are so cooked for Pot B. I knew I should've gone for Atletico Madrid instead of wasting it on Arsenal. My only hope is getting at least a few points in Man City's second leg.

I just checked Pot A - globally I'm in top 100 (currently 86th) out of 23k players. Still isn't enough for the top spot in our pool though, considering that Ulven is 32nd overall in the world rankings.
Sure, some people give up so the results are a bit skewed - but people from BTT always place really high on the world leaderboards.

Congrats Ulven - we all but secured the first 2 places. I did close a gap by 1 point in this round but I doubt I'll be able to catch you.

In Pot B I expected Hhampuz to defend his place and he went on the offensive again, didn't turn out that well for him this round.
I still have 18 points left to play for next week, if both hit I'll close the gap to less than 20 points and then it's game on in the last round.

@buwaytress, it appears that jeremypwr has made a mistake or misunderstood the system and staked 10 points on PSG to win and 10 points on 'Lewandowski 2+ goals/assists'. How his submission will be considered if Lewandowski goals/assists become 2+ in the return match? In case of misunderstanding, maybe he would have split the 10 points (5 points on each) on those two selections if he got the rules correctly.

You made me a bit sad because I had a cat since I was a teen, and I know it was getting old when it stopped jumping up to me and I needed to pick him up but he was always a bit naughy and then one night, I took him to vet for last time

Barca PSG BTTS is easy money, I agree. PSG can score even without Mbappe because our defence is full of holes, but I saw replays and PSG even with 4 or 5 men behind, they are so panicky.

Yeah I got a few points too, but nowhere near enough to catch top 10 unfortunately. Wasted on BVB and Bayern, now I need Simeone to get himself carded in the return leg to get a bit more. More hopeful than anything, I'm down and out in both Pots.

Regarding jeremypwr's submission, yeah he noted his mistake and already messaged me earlier to adjust to 5 points each. I just hadn't got round to adjusting the result sheet, it's now correct. This round actually has the fewest adjustments requested -- which either means people are really familiar with the format now, or more people are staking everything on one outcome haha.
