Hey buddy, saw you stopped playing our pools and exited our channel. You're still posting here, is there any reason for that? Don't mind conversing with you at all (if indeed you are conversing), just curious.

I'm not as good at making predictions as I used to be, so I left.
If there's any problem with me posting here, I won't post anymore—no problem, buddy.

Boring results so far,,, come on Sabah you can do it, make us believe in Football Magic again!

No way that we are going to lose against Sabah on our UCL come back !  

Speaking of boring results, I actually nailed all the score prediction so far 12 out 12 with 4 of them being exact scores. This is probably one of the best start I've had on this pool and it would be so much better if I dont get the penalty

Totally zero football magic in this first round, which for me is a bit unexpected since we saw lot of upsets in the previous season early group.

You did really well,,, very good picks. Best start ever and well done to you. Me, I totally got murdered and even got a penalty, usually I feel ok every season to get these penalties but to get 1 right at the start oh well!

First participation in the UCL pool started out great with 40.5 points. I was sure that I made something wrong with the stakes in the beginning, but it turned out great, and it is nicely explained in this discussion—so I found out later after MD1 had already started, but no harm done luckily .

An excellent result, it’s a fairly long tournament, so the most important thing is to avoid penalties and show consistency. I also racked up a decent number of points and was actually pleased... right up until the moment I realized, dammit, that because of the Nations League, the next round wouldn't be until closer to mid-October  Damn, I love the Nations League during the playoffs, but all those qualifiers (including the Euros and World Cup) right in the middle of the season just kill the vibe.
I wonder if tournaments will ever switch to more exciting formats, like double (or triple) elimination or the Swiss system?

Believe it or not I am just now looking at the leaderboard after first round of Champions League pool, and results are not that bad since I am on 12th place in front of Mafia and Snake.
I could have much more points, but I made mistakes in placing my points, and I had stupid trust that Bodoe/Glimt will score against mighty Bayenr.

But shall I also say congratulations to darxiaomi for the 50 point haul (well, el che too for that matter)? Are we seeing Argentinian aggression winning this pool? I got... the lowest score of those of us who didn't get penalties, so I must find a way back into the tournament.

I probably didn't spell your name right or just used "dar", so add that to your notification list I'm one here too to do that -- people use my name in various forms and I sometimes see it very late as I only have my full name on notify.

Sorry about the lack of rewards. I might do something on my own for a highest round at the end, but you guys have to let me win first.

I just finished making some layout adjustments. I believe things are better now.

I am only checking from my mobile phone now and everything looks exactly the same. Maybe I should logout and clear the cache but won"t do it on my phone. When I get back home I will check from my PC and see if everything is still the same, in there I can clear cache or use other browsers as I am to lazy to change the status of my phone as it took me sometime to customize it like I want it to be. Nevertheless it is good as it is the layout.

Yeah, I also realized that we now have a month-long pause from the Champions League. I really hate this whole Nations League thing—I was against it from the beginning, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be fine with it. The transfer window ends, you can't wait for the top leagues to start (Premier League, UCL, Bundesliga...), and then it hits you right in the face: a Nations League break. Terrible.
