I submitted my picks yesterday because I though that there is high chance that I will miss deadline because of very early Kairat game. But there was 2 games missing and I filled it too just few minutes befoire the deadline. Like usual, nothing extraordinary, went with bets that looks more or less safe, even if odds isn't high. But so far it works for me.
Don't know about you guys, but I still didn't got used to new format. Usually CL returned in the middle of February with first playoff stage, while now it's still January and still group phase.

Apologies all. Seems like there's always a small hitch. This time found by Trofomafia. 2 matches were missing: home games for Qarabaq and Bayern -- a result of doing this round early and not realising that two games were even missing from the book selection.

Speaking of potential points, Bodo just scored 2 goals against Manchester City. This will be shocking if they ended up winning against Manchester City. This might be a good time to bet on City to win on half time, the odds could be juicy

I thought the bet on a goalless draw between Inter and Arsenal had great value. The odds were either 11 or 9 (I can't remember exactly, as I made two bets – one at 9 and the other at 11). It seems to me that Arsenal will not strain themselves for 3 points (which they don’t really need), and Inter will not risk 1 point against a stronger opponent. I see great potential in this game, with both teams battling in midfield without any scoring opportunities.

Here I did the wrong prediction score in the Inter v Arsenal match which should be 2-1 for Inter instead 1-1 in this match while for BTTS & 1x2 chose Inter Milan & BTTS with an allocation of 1 point... because I spread the points a lot in other matches.

Maybe for Arsenal they will not be too ngoto to win, at least Inter will try to get points in this match, important for Inter 3 points after 2 defeats.

Yeah, went with the same logic. 0-0 draws are still very rare so I don't really hope I'll win points there, but odds-wise it made sense to give it a try.

City doing really well, huh? To be fair though, Bodo has been good throughout the whole CL season.

Anyway the leaderboard doesnt seems to be counting the points on MD7 for some reason. I did a manual check and no one was cheeky enough to pull Bodo/Glimt to win over Manchester City on both score and betting prediction

Never a bad day seeing Oilchester City get beaten. Very unexpected win by Bodo Glint but I am not complaining. They totally deserved it by the way, their players put in probably the biggest performance of their careers.

Holy f*ck seeing the results of tonight games so far, cannot go without saying extremely surprise results have happened, well maybe not for everyone so Olympiacos beating Leverkussen and Manchester City being beaten by a Norwegian team says a lot for me tonight as how f*cked the Champions League has become. I mean we used to have surprise results in the old format but this is to much, there is not a single match day nowadays in Champions League that goes without heavy surprise results that leads to a lot of people losing a lot of money. I have done the correct thing to not bet on this anymore, wow still can't believe how the results of the games of tonight are ending.

I went full 3 points max on this one, I could have gone more if I had my way - Arsenal & BTS, I knew Arsenal were going to win, was only worried about Inter scoring a goal and luckily for me they did it in the first half. I took same option somewhere I can't return correctly but I'm guessing ATM & BTS

You're right about Rodri; he isn't as juicy anymore, and I feel bad for him - I saw him bullied to the ground by Dorgu several times in the Manchester derby - he plays with fear and doesn't take risks. Unfortunately his position demands it.

This round started as another one to get over ASAP, I believe it's not the round I'm looking for just and that one still lies ahead, I can't seem to get anything right and I'm getting closer to bottom at the end of each round than I am to getting close to the middle of the table, I've never had it this terribly in the UCL pool, wtf is going on ??!

Maybe a strategy is to stop picking Barca overs and save more stakes. And hope for others like mafia to stop doing so well lol

I guess, I'll just have to look for one favorite to keep staking against for the rest of the way with majority of my stakes and find play it safe one to avoid penalties, although the play it safe ones have actually never saved me from the penalties anyway 

I'm going all out on City or Barcelona to lose in the next round.

City are just rubbish, they killed my multiple bet in a very unusual way: I wasn’t very attentive and instead of betting on the Champions League game, I picked U21 Premier League International Cup and still lost   I wonder what my emotions would be if City won their game in the Champions League (and I would not have pleased by it) but at the same time I lost my bet due to a misclick.
Pep is finished and searching for yesterday. He really thought he had a Ballon d'Or winner whose return would solve his problems.

The current 3rd position for Manchester City at the moment should not be taken seriously because the group stage is only temporary sometimes there has been no change by the bookie because after yesterday's defeat.

When the group stage is over, the odds of the winner will appear more serious even though anything can change... it's just that we see how the team performs.

Regarding Man City's current 3rd place, I have to say nonsense, they don't deserve it because of the poor performance.

Newcastle and Spurs have zero pedigree in this competition, you could say Arsenal too. It matters when it comes to the business end of the competition.

The odds mean nothing this early. Liverpool were favourites after the group stage last season and then went out in the round of 16.

A lot changes based on form and luck of the draw. Let’s see the round of 16 draw before we start thinking who will win it.

Didn't expected that Barca will force me to worry in game with Slavia, but such thing happens when you play in frozen pitch and your opponent has nothing to lose. Everyhing would be good if not Pedri injury...
Expected much more from Bayern, but anyway... This was worst round for me so far, but still managed to go up by 1 place. So far my strategy is working.

You mentioned Chelsea and Tottenham which is much more unconvicning than City. Not really sure about these odds, but bad playoff draw can very significantly

Not bad result for me after all, and I got more points than I hoped to get after wasting some stakes for nothing.
22.05 points was not enough to get me on higher position but with 212.90 points I am not far from the top or from cryptofrka Mafia.
Next week we have another round of Champions League, and this is when I attack with full force.
