It's always the same. Real Madrid might be having their worst season ever, but then they get to a Champions League game and out of nowhere, they score goals and win games, without anyone understanding how it happened.
They have incredible luck in the Champions League. The strange thing is when they don't win. I don't think even with two buses, it would be difficult to stop for those 10 minutes.
Real Madrid are so jammy!

Real Madrid proves its class time and time again, yet people keep talking about luck

And yes, I can imagine what a painful experience such an outcome must be for the fans of the losing team. If City actually had any fans, they’d probably faint at the mere mention of Real Madrid.
I liked Gasperini’s press conference:
Gasperini said: "If there is one frustrated team, it is Roma. We were better than them in every aspect of the game."
His players, he insisted, had been the superior side and should have put the game to bed long before Madrid found a way back.
He continued: "For 80 minutes, we were superior to Real Madrid in everything."

I understand what it’s like to be in his shoes, but he shouldn’t have dug himself in even deeper, he could have accepted defeat with dignity - it’s only the group stage, after all.
