The advantage of 2 goals will certainly help Real Madrid secure a ticket to the semifinals this season. I sure hope Real Madrid can also win the second leg at Stamford Bridge, too good to hope given Chelsea's not-so-good form. We really made it difficult for Chelsea to find a goal in the first leg, and I'm sure we can do that once again in the second leg as well.

I'm starting to expect Manchester City to be a worthy opponent for the semi-final against Real Madrid. Manchester City is certainly very likely to secure a semi-final ticket too after winning 3 goals against Bayern, so I hope it's really a great match.

I think it is over for Bayern Munich in this tournament this season. They should have performed better against Manchester City in the second half. They were really weak at defending and Manchester City were one of the best teams to benefit from this golden opportunity. Manchester City have the most effective attacking line among the teams left here now. Haaland did his trick again and literally carried the team to a 3-0 victory.

Bayern Munich's chances of qualifying for the semifinals are very low, and I didn't expect it to become so real.
Manchester City seem all too ready to win the Champions League title this season but of course they need to be highly motivated and confident to do it without mistakes. The problem is that Manchester City could do very well with Real Madrid in the semi-finals if both of them qualify, and that is another big challenge for them to overcome.

Don't compare Dortmund and Real Madrid. Real Madrid has a better squad and they are more experienced to win UCL matches. While Dortmund sometimes surprised us with good performance but sometimes with bad performance. Its performance is not quite stable in UCL competition. Also, Chelsea may choose the right tactic when they played against Dortmund. But in the match against Real Madrid, they are difficult to find a proper tactic because Real Madrid knows well how to deal with Chelsea players. It will be a tough tie to turn by Bayern Munich considering how they play last time out but I won’t rule out that possibility. This Bayern team actually had more possession than the City team something that rarely happens against a Pep team and that is like a way out for them. Keep the ball and frustrate city defensively they don’t really know how to defend much and a goal might come on. Get two in the first half. Pep could actually go in for a lots of rotation with players like Debruyne sitting it out and should he do this I think Bayern could have a less problem on their hands. The last thing could actually be how Tuchel set out is team because just as you have mentioned should he set this team like the last time he will get a whopping. I will prefer him to play a 3 at the back. Upamecano Deligt and Pavard. Then have Both Cancelo and Davies as full backs to help both midfield and defense. Choupo moting should be starting ahead of Gnabry because he possesses an aerial advantage than Gnabry.

Because Manchester City seem very determined to make it to the title this season and this 3-0 advantage should be very helpful for them to qualify for the semi-finals as well. The Chelsea team has been really poor this season, they need a very good coach. they was no way that Chelsea where going to win that game. Real Madrid are the king of champions League, no matter how poor they are in the Laliga, ones it comes to the champions league, they play as if they are in the best form of there life, Real Madrid are the better side, they are in second position in the Spanish Laliga even if they have not been really good this season, while Chelsea on the other hand have been very poor this season, they are not even sure yet of qualifying for any European competitions next season.

For the Chelsea players to gain confidence and momentum in the Premier League and Champions League, they require a highly renowned coach to start up with them asap. It's as though the Chelsea players don't believe in themselves anymore. They all act as if they are hesitant to vigorously defend themselves and counterattack their opponent. All of this appears to occur by the next season when they will be able to hire a qualified coach who will work with them and restore their confidence on the field.
With Lampard serving as their interim coach this season, I don't believe they will be able to advance to the Europa League next year.

You can almost see that this is the season Pep Guardiola finally wins the champions league with Manchester City. Bayern are known for their spirit and power when they play at their home ground, but not this time. The chance of Manchester City not scoring away is very small considering that Bayern will risk playing an over offesive game since they need 4 goals to pass to the semi finals. I expect Halaand to score yet again against them. Also, problems inside the bayern's dressing room is making it even more difficult as Sadio Mané is given a one match ban after punching his teammate Leroy Sané after the defeat against Man City in the first leg.
On the other hand, Real Madrid with it's power and experience will definetly qualify to the semis. We will be witnessing a very exciting match in the semi finals between Real Madrid and Manchester city.

I completely forgot to share the returns of my bets from the last quarterfinal matches of champions league. Lucky me all my predictions were correct Xd, and the matches were so entertaining to watch. Most of the teams i can say that they ended things early in the first leg and heading to the semi-finals, except for AC Milan against Napoli which is not an easy match to predict even with Napoli's absences due to red and double yellow cards they had in first match, that’s why this match will be my favorite in leg two which is coming up next week.

I will put my guessing and bets like this:
Chelsea 1:2 Real Madrid
Napoli 1:1 Ac Milan
Bayern Munich 2:3 Manchester City
Inter 3:0 Benfica

The only team in the Champions League I was not expected to see at this stage is Chelsea because they had a bad performance in the previous weeks and I was expecting to see Dortmund at this stage instead of them but regarding the other teams, I guess we can see Manchester City and Napoli at the final match because they both are doing very well, especially Napoli because they have enough time to get recovery from the Serie A games and get themselves ready for champions league games.

Of course it would be very interesting if Napoli could be in the Champions League final this season against Manchester City (and even if Manchester City could beat Bayern Munich and also Real Madrid) because I'm also not sure that Chelsea can hold Real Madrid from advancing to the next round because Chelsea's performance this season is not very good and also not on par with other teams who are still in the Champions League now.

Chelsea is the least club in performance among this other clubs,  I'm still surprised how Chelsea managed to be able to remain in Champions league even with their  bad performance. Napoli performance in the Champions league is what I enjoy much I never expected Napoli to be among the best team in the Champions league. It will be nice to see Napoli in the finals, if Napoli reach finals they might win the the champions league. Napoli has become my favourite team in Champions league.

It's incredible but what you're saying you're absolutely right, for me it's one of the things that needs to be improved right now, it's like something with Potter, because I see that he's a very good trainer and he also has a lot of vision, but I don't know what It's what doesn't fit in that team, they have world-class players, they are young, famous, they have everything to be the best team and they can't, so of course it makes me think that the one who is failing is also Potter , there are only very few victories and in the decisive ones they must come out with the best strategy, now the challenge with Madrid in the UCL will be something good, because we will know who is who here.

The games did not seem boring to me, the one I saw well was the one between Real Madrid and Chelsea, I wanted to see how Chelsea played in this instance, Lampard also did not do badly as a coach, although Chelsea has the resources to hire a technical director with much more experience, they are trusting him, but if we compare him with Madrid and Ancelotti, they still have a long way to go, although they lost with those two goals they didn't look so bad, they looked worse with Potter, here things change , Chelsea still have to improve, let's wait and see what they come up with so that they can show a greater improvement.


Real leave Chelsea down but not out

A scoreline that could have been much worse, but from a match that fully showed how emphatically superior Real Madrid were.

Chelsea may well have seen a two-goal deficit as some way respectable before this game, given everything that has happened for both of these clubs in the last year, but the reality is they are going to have to overcome a lot more than that.

Frank Lampard will no doubt point to how they were two goals down to Napoli in that season-turning tie back in 2011-’12 but this isn’t 2012 and Real Madrid very much are not that Napoli.

But still Chelsea can't improve their game that doesn't change at all, so I think Chelsea will still be eliminated later because I doubt how Chelsea's game is still not impressive in any match.
They've certainly had a difficult time since Tuchel's sacking and with Potter not bringing any better and also with Lampard I've had to say this is a little skeptical on my part so Chelsea just need a change of management.

We have to stop talking about Thomas Tuchel, he's now history or isn't he the same Thomas Tuchel that's bottling his job at Bayern Munich. Tuchel success at Chelsea didn't have everything to do with his coaching skills instead the players were determined to win and they won games. If Thomas Tuchel was that good as we're all saying, why hasn't he replicated same wins with Bayern Munich or won the champion league with other top clubs that he has managed. Let take Real Madrid as an example, it doesn't matter which coach is present but they'll always do well in the champions league because it's a culture on the club.

As for the game against Real Madrid, it was a disappointing loss and I'm still surprised we could play that badly against Real Madrid and I put all the blame on Frank Lampard. His selections were all wrong, we could have sealed the fate of that game in the first few minutes of the game as we were having chances after chances but didn't have anyone that could score in the team. The team lacked a striker and Chelsea need to resolved this crises by signing someone that'll be winning to play even though we don't get champions league football next season. I think if Kai Havertz would had started that game, we would had gotten something from that game. I haven't lost hope though, 2:0 isn't that hard of a result to comeback from to progress.

Tuchel was certainly doing a better job compared to Graham Porter. I know he is not currently doing a fabulous job with his current team. But it has only been like two weeks with his new team. So I think we should give him time. But at the same time, I also agree with @Brainboss that everyone should stop talking about Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel. It is history. Chelsea will have to think about what is in the future for them.

I understand that 2 - 0 is not hard to overcome. But that would be true for a team like Real Madrid. Not a team like Chelsea under the current situation.

It's caused by pep fully focusing with UCL. Pep is still targeting manchester city to win EPL this season. That's why pep didn't wanna miss an opportunity to beat manchester city with huge scores. Tuchel got so many critics toward him. How in the hall coach that wanna see his team lose against another team at home? Real madrid has bigger chance to win over chelsea since real madrid is now leading the match with 2 goal as aggregates that needs to be surpassed by chelsea. Pep was using any opportunities that available during the match against bayern in etihad stadium.
He will not try to repeat the same mistake. Pep is now also having haaland on his side. that makes him less worried to face the strong team in the upcoming match.

Madrid will become the toughest opponent for manchester city this season. It will be so good if chelsea will able to come back against real madrid. That will create a different atmosphere in UCL where the final will be repeated again between city and chelsea.

man city have been through six time to quarter final in the champions league after city's near misses in recent year the 2021 final and semi final last year it seems to many that a fit and firing specialist was all that was missing  I think the coming of Haaland have filled that gap they would certainly have few excuses for another failure this time around but it is not going to be simple while Haaland has been doing what he was brought for to do in the club, Guardiola had built a fully fit team with the team fully fit there is  no need not feel confident.
