Chelsea use to be a big strong team but it seems as if there days of reigns are becoming over gradually. There performances lately are becoming so poor.
There is a big problem with Chelsea team recently, and the solution is within them. From the manager to coach and then players too because  the manager's error will drastically affect the players.

Chelsea has big problems internally. The peak of the problem after the sale of the Chelsea club by Roman Abramovich, a man from Russia to Todd Boehly. After Chelsea was successfully sold to Todd Boehly, a man from the United States, then the existing problems didn't just end. Of course the Chelsea club must be separated from internal political interests, so that the strengthening of players can be optimized again.

On the first day of this round, the most interesting game for me is going to be Manchester City - Bayern Munich of course.

This is like an early finale in the Champions League also in my opinion. Because both of these teams are among the biggest title contenders at the moment. Manchester City have already been very strong especially thanks to the Haaland addition to the team. He has made a huge difference in his first season already. Bayern Munich will need to watch out for this goal machine even though they are familiar with playing against him already. Tuchel's arrival can be really better for Bayern Munich. I think we will see an a little more durable team in this matchup.

But I'm still hoping to see Manchester City winning in Etihad and eliminating their competitor by the rematch also.

It's not going to be that easy for Manchester City to win this game even with them playing at home in the etihad stadium, like you said its going to play out like an early finale in the Champions League, Manchester City are looking more stronger in terms of team performance but Bayern Munich are well experienced when it comes to qualifying for this round although their head to head match up between the two teams shows that Manchester City have experienced a fair share of wins against Bayern Munich in their meeting together but I can boldly say it's going to be a hell of a match between this two teams.

People are putting too much emphasis on Real, but between being terrible in La Liga and losing to Barcelona by a lot of points (even lost just recently) and not being as good as last year in UCL as well, I have to say that I do not see them going too much forward. Maybe they will win this game and go to Semi-finals, but that's about it and I am not really seeing them go any further at all.

It is going to take a while before they could make a big difference, they need to buy younger players to make sure they are ready for the future, they have some, they need more. This current roster feels like it's lacking comparing to some other teams with much younger star players that can make a difference.

Real Madrid has already begun to update (Tchuameni - Casemiro and Mbappe was supposed to come but he turned out to be a fool). Just because Tuchel once beat City in the Champions League final, doesn't mean the current situation will be the same. sometimes, I find it funny, when people put too much hope on Tuchel being with Bayern in such a short time. to be honest, we won't know until this fight starts. however, when referring to readiness, it is clear that City is more prepared than Bayern Munich. we can see from Bayern's two matches in the bundesliga, although that is not a benchmark. it is clear, however, that Tuchel still needs adjustments to his system.

Well, referring to the performance of City and its players. clearly City is above Bayern "according to my personal version". the first match will be played at the Etihad Stadium, it is likely that City will destroy Bayern in that match. I'm pretty sure, let's see in the first leg what Tuchel will do. I'm pretty sure, he's not going to adopt an offensive game pattern. by the way, City is not Barcelona and PSG who still have weaknesses in several sectors. City is stronger than that. they have a fairly even depth of play, even for second-tier players. plus, having Haaland as a scoring monster.

On the contrary, this is a tough game for Bayern. plus, the real test for Tuchel. To be honest, I want to enjoy this match more and hope that Bayern will play their best version. because if it's for City, I have no doubts. these two teams, are not my idol teams, but as a football fan I enjoy them more. speaking of bets, I will choose City.

I think that Real Madrid vs. Chelsea deserves no less attention as most people here think that Real Madrid will win that one easy, but I don't think so.

After today's loss I don't think Real Madrid is heavy favorite against Chelsea, they are one step ahead but nothing more. Ancelotti thought about doing some rotation and that cost them a loss at home. Their minds are in Chelsea game I get it but this defense is alarming. If they give away too many positions to opponents they eventually concede some goals.
Chelsea changed their manager one more time and this is Lampard's chance to prove himself. Their target game wasn't today's Wolves game, it's Real game. I don't care about this loss, they weren't in a position like Real had. A good result in Santiago Bernabeu may raise their hopes so I think they'll give a lot of importance to the first match especially.

It cost them a loss at home and now what? The La Liga title was gone long ago. Ancelotti knew what he was doing and even though he rotated on six positions compared to the game before, it was still not a bad team on the pitch and they could have won the game. Anyway, I think nobody expected from Ancelotti to make his team go all out against Villareal when they know that they are soon going to be playing against Chelsea. I would have done the same. The focus must be on the Champions League and even the fans will understand that and accept a defeat against Villareal if that means they can be up against Chelsea in a better physical condition.

Madrid remains top seed in the Champions League. The defeat in the domestic league against Villarreal is not a benchmark. Yes, Don Carlo is aware that in La Liga there is no hope of catching up to Barcelona. So we can see the rotations that were made and the style of play that was displayed was indeed not very spartan, meaning that Ancelotti clearly instructed his troops to be more careful in preparation for facing Chelsea. I'm sure El Real will be able to win easily against Chelsea. Because if you look at the conditions of these two teams, then Real Madrid is superior to Chelsea in everything.

Real Madrid lose to Villarreal is doesn't matter we know now that they lose to Villarreal their focus is on champions league now Chelsea has great players in all lines, and they are capable of winning if they are in good condition. But Frank Lampard will make an exceptional manager this time around compared to to the previous. he has kept the character he had as a player in his personality as a coach Chelsea's performance has been poor, but their squad is strong. And the players in the squad are very talented. Chelsea has the ability to beat teams like Madrid.I'm sure Chelsea will be able to give their best performance and at least be able to draw.

We can assume that Real Madrid focuses on UCL matches now because in the match against Villareal, Ancelotti tried to keep Kroos, Modric, and Valverde on the bench. Ancelotti must be aware that the chance to win La Liga title is very small, so he doesn't want to force Real Madrid players to play all out for La Liga matches.  

Well, Chelsea may have some strong players but they still can't play solidly. So, even if they have a new coach (Lampard), I believe Real Madrid will win the match and qualify for the next round. I don't deny that Chelsea has a good squad and they are possible to beat Real Madrid. However, if we consider the experience of Real Madrid squad and the capability of the coach, Real Madrid should have a bigger chance to win the match.

He made a good decision,  but I think it was in a bad way. Noo doubt, he is a coach and knows what's best for them.  But why not look at it this way, featuring Kroose, Modric and Valverd in the starting 11 and there after substitute them in few minutes time after the beginning of the second half, that wouldn't have been too much a risk to take. At least,  Anceloti should have saved the clash against Vilareal so he could add to the players winning confidence and mentality. Real Madrid good form has dropped,  loosing at this moment is quite unhealthy to the up coming champion league fixture.

Chelsea is really a big flop this season,...I just don't know why.
They lost against wolves and that was quite displeasing,...cus why should they have lost, even when they knew they had to win?
If it'll be dawn on them to qualify for the next round by winning against Madrid, then that's just gonna be another flop cus Madrid ain't even planing to lose any more matches RN. Manchester City is not going to win the champions league for this reason too, they have a good situation in the champions league and they had a good performance so far. if you ask me Manchester City could even be in first place in the premier league instead of Arsenal but they didn't start the season well, regarding champions league they are going to face Tuchel and his team I think Tuchel is the first hope for the champions league and I think Bayern is going to beat Manchester City in the champions league.

It's not so hard if the club was getting in the other group where almost all of participants are coming from serie a. All of hard opponents were playing in the same group. You can imagine how hard the group that has been filled by chelsea, real madrid, bayern and manchester city.

Chelsea has won UCL two times, and madrid 14 times. Bayern has also ever won UCL too but city has none. It has proven how strong the teams that were playing in these groups. Real madrid is the most favorite club right now to win UCL.
Real madrid already won UCL last year and it may repeat the same story again. Madrid is very capable to win against any clubs in its group. The best team in the world.

It is not easy to predict which team will win the Champions League title. Because the favorite team does not always win the Champions League. PSG, Munich, and Manchester City have been favorites for the Champions League title in the last few seasons. But they could not win the title. Chelsea won the title in the 2020–21 season. But no one imagined that Chelsea would win the title. Madrid and Manchester City seem to favorite this season as well. But every team in the quarter-finals is strong enough this season. And so it cannot be said for sure which team will be the champion this year.

Almost every season always have wrong prediction about team winning UEFA Champion League tittle, still remember with many predicting about PSG is the most strong candidate will win UCL season 2022/2023 but they have eliminated from 16th round. Last season, Real Madrid is not favorite team winning Champion League but finally success win and eliminated favorite team from PSG, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Bayern Munich still strong candidate winning Champion League tittle this season after success unbeaten from 8 matches, have won all matches but little doubt with replacing new manager Thomas Tuchel will success for Bayern Munich or not in Champion League.

In the last few seasons, we have seen that the Champions League title cannot be predicted with certainty. Because almost every team here is strong enough. Each has strong squad. And they can play well. And so we don't always see the favorite team win the Champions League. Manchester City, Munich, and Madrid are considered favorites in the Champions League this season as well. But I don't see any chance of neglecting the Napoli and Benfica teams either. The way they are progressing, if they can maintain this consistency, they also have a chance to win the title. But these teams are not experienced enough. Considering the experience aspect, the Madrid team is the favorite this season.

It has already become a rule that Real plays poorly in the Spanish championship in recent years, but wins the Champions League, and more than once.
It is very difficult to rationally explain why Real won the Champions League last season and should have lost and been eliminated by all opponents in the knockout phase, PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
It is obvious that the Real players play the best in the Champions League, and that they have a lot of experience and self-confidence, and that is why they should not be underestimated.
I agree that they need younger players, but right now their old players are playing fantastically in the Champions League. Just remember their match with Liverpool. I have a feeling that Real could win the Champions League this season.

The changing of the coach in this part of the season is hard and they have really slim chances to make it. Also from the other side Lampard is a Chelsea legend and if he can make it work and make a unity from the team maybe they can give Real run for their money.

It's caused by todd not even thinking about how to fix the problem at once. he was still taking non sense decisions by signing more and more garbage coach. I meant you might have seen there are bunch of good coaches already available. Jose mounriho itself already stated that if they were interested to manage chelsea again but why todd boehly was always taking a non sense decisions? Todd boehly is not even seeing any criticism that was coming towards chelsea. Todd was signing lampard which was another blunder again.
Lampard was losing on his debut which was making fans become even angrier than before. There are no improvements that happened with chelsea after it has been managed by lampard.
Todd was wasting more and more money instead of signing a very good coach that can rebuild the mentality of the players.

This makes me curious about what has been thinking by todd. He was a business man but he is not even thinking about how to run the football business properly. I can't even believe it if he was a billionaire.

That simply does not make any sense,it is not a problem of transfer of the club from a Russian rich man to an American rich one.The problems at Chelsea were already high since Abramovich was in charge,it was a lot of injured players that impacted the results of Chelsea.They tried changing coach a few times and this was another bad move from Chelsea.I am afraid when they play in Champions League this week they are going to be crushed really badly from Real Madrid who certainly does not have the same level of problems that Chelsea have.This season for Chelsea was one of the worst for them in these recent ones.
