Kick-off begins. This is what we have been waiting for in the last few days because this match is indeed quite interesting.

15 minutes of time passed, it seemed that Chelsea were trying to make a breakthrough for the start of this match and they had created 3 shots even though none were on target.

I think Real Madrid is a lot focussed on controlling the game rather than rushing for a third goal. Modric, Kroos and Valverde is the perfect midfield that you need for such a game. Especially Modric and Kroos are essentially making zero mistakes and they cool down the game whenever necessary and whenever Chelsea is trying to bring in some dynamic. Chelsea has to do something and for that they have to open up against a relatively deep standing Real Madrid. Control and counter attacks is what Real Madrid will be playing and even when they play their counters it won't always be about high speed unless Junior can go all the way.

Napoli are really dominant against Milan so far indeed. Milan didn't have any goal attempt at all. However they have just captured a huge opportunity to get ahead. They won a penalty but unfortunately for them Giroud missed it.

This must be really disappointing for Milan because they could have done the same thing to Napoli. You know that Napoli were again dominant in the first leg also but Milan still managed to score and win. Getting a 2-0 advantage on aggregate would be very valuable for Milan. Now I don't know if a similar opportunity would be captured again for them. This might even be a turning point for Napoli to make a comeback. A. Meret has been a savior for Napoli. Because he managed to hold and thwart Milan's penalty kick. I think everyone who watched and supported Napoli in this game must have just felt a tremendous amount of tension. But luck was still on Napoli's side. Milan is trying to get out of the pressure. but Napoli's back line was also quite tight so that the Milan players also seemed to have difficulty breaking through.

Even though it was a pretty good opportunity so they could enlarge the aggregate but indeed it has failed and now they have to try again.

yeah that's right Meret was really outstanding in this fight. even Milan several times had very good chances but Meret always managed to save Napoli's goal. Milan has a fast attack that is enough to endanger Napoli's back line.

I didn't watch Real Madrid vs Chelsea because I thought Real Madrid should have won that game. and I don't doubt it.

Both west races seem to be 0-0 at half time. Perhaps not so very illogical, especially at Napoli because they can already force an extension with 1-0. At Chelsea I expected a bit more because Chelsea has to win 2-0 or more to be able to reach extra time. There was a great chance for Chelsea quite early in the game, but unfortunately it was not used. Now we have to wait for the first goal, it would be very nice for Chelsea if they scored that goal quickly, but we will see if the first goal will come soon. It is also important not to get a goal against, then it is of course the end of the story with a goal against.

I have the same thought. Several times Real Madrid failed to play well in the first leg, but they often made surprises in the second leg. So even though they will be playing as guests this time, I think Real Madrid still has a big chance to win this match. It is clear that the crowd will be Chelsea's advantage because they are playing at home, but Real Madrid has a winning mentality that Chelsea doesn't currently have.

I have to be on a different side because Chelsea did well in this match. As long as Real Madrid don't score, then I think Chelsea is expected to chase those 2 goals at home. Kante had a good chance to find a goal but shot wide. Of course I don't doubt Real Madrid's winning mentality, but I could see Chelsea playing well today.

Up to 40 minutes of the first half, the two teams both played draw. Chelsea are good at pressing, but they haven't found a way to score. I thought the first goal was very important, but 0-0 doesn't look like it will change until the first half ends.

Chelsea has had a surprisingly good start to the second leg of this quarter final tie. Real Madrid are playing a lot more cautiously than they did in the first round where they were playing a very high line, today as expected they are playing a more reserved game. The more time goes the closer Real come to winning this tie as they already have a solid 2-goal advantage.

As the game winds down, Chelsea would get more adventurous with their game play and that would leave more spaces behind the line for a counter attack.

Napoli did not allow AC Milan to breathe, there were moments when AC Milan got the advantage, but they failed to convert it into a goal. This is like a breath of fresh air for Napoli because of course they are more confident when AC Milan fail to score from the golden opportunities they get. Napoli continues to look for ways to dismantle AC Milan's defense to equalize first.
Oh it turns out Giroud was able to make up for his mistake in converting the penalty and he scored to put AC MIlan ahead. 2-0 is now AC MIlan's advantage.

]I agree with you, the only reason we cannot discard completely a possible comeback by Chelsea is that we have seen even crazier things happening on the past, and as such Chelsea still has a chance to win and move forward to the next round, but if Chelsea plays at the same level they played their last match and Real Madrid does the same then there is almost no way for Chelsea to stage that comeback, so something must be done by their coach and their players to try to improve their performance in a hurry.

Surprisingly Milan managed to score a goal in the 43rd minute by O. Giroud. Quick counter attack and R. Leao was absolutely outstanding he beat a lot of Napoli players and made a great assist for Giroud. I think Napoli had to fight a bit more in the second half. and with an aggregate of 2 goals I think Milan will now play more calmly.

It was luck Giroud didn‘t  score, he is normally a really good goalgetter. He had another chance from about 12 metres in front of the goal, also no goal, puh. Napoli do more in the game because they must do it, with a draw they are out. So longer it takes Napoli score a goal, more risk in the defense. Osimhen has to show his quality today, if he doesn’t score he will disappoint the Napoli fans a lot, he is a goal guarantee in Serie A this year.

The missed penalty is now avenged.
Giroud scored a goal with a very fast counterattack and of course this silenced most of the fillers at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, who were indeed the majority of Napoli supporters.
Aggregate 2 goals now, will this really be the end for Napoli? because indeed now their hope is most likely 45 minutes of the second half considering that the first half time is almost up.

So far, in the first half Chelsea repeatedly pressed and almost scored a goal. They just need a player who can complete the finishing touches. It was very clear that Chelsea's performance was made as much as possible to excel. Madrid must show the same performance in the second half.
Again Napoli bowed in the first half, and Milan ended it with the opener. This means that Napoli will no longer be able to avoid it if they have to go home and return to focus on the League. It's hard to believe that most people think of Napoli as a strong candidate, but you have to realize that the DNA of the Champions League is in Milan.

A wasted opportunity by Olivier Giroud who failed to convert the penalty kick to a goal, big blow for him by now AC Milan should be 0:2 ahead of Napoli. Funny how Giroud cane back to score another goal after missing the penalty kick hopefully he won't have to regret anything again and he's going to go all the way to get another goal in this game with the opportunity that's coming his way in this game.

It's 0:2 in aggregate right now any hope for Napoli again?

It's highly disappointing that Chelsea ended the first half without getting a single goal, Cucrella Missed a wonderful opportunity which should have gave Chelsea a lead in this game and hence creating the possibility of them equalizing the 2 goals in the second half.
With a lot of corners that Chelsea had towards the ending of the game, they couldn't convert any to goal, Which has made me remember the era of John Terry , Cahill, Didier Drogba and Ivanovich who are good in converting corner kicks to goals.

Giroud failed to score a penalty! But he did score from the game. An incredibly emotional game!
Milan now have a two-goal lead. Napoli will find it hard to come back. But there's still the second half ahead. And it's going to be a very tense half.

Marc Cucurella and N'Golo Kanté were perfectly free to score, but both players fell short when they came in face with goal. I've said Chelsea can be relied on in this match, but they are still struggling to break the goal deadlock.

Of course there's still the second half, but I think Chelsea need to be even more motivated to get out of all the pressure. They should be confident enough to score at least to force extra time today.
