I agree with you. La Liga's performance should not be compared with Champions League performance. Inter Milan and AC Milan are performing very poorly in Serie A. But two teams have managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League.

IMO, Madrid puts more emphasis on individual action, while City is more on tactics. if Madrid have Benzema, Vini Jr, Rodry and Valverde, City have Haaland, Grealish, De Bruyne and Benardo Silva.

Well, i think i have said this before but i'd reiterate. Whilst i think that Erling Haaland is a very important player for Manchester City, just look at his numbers in his debut season and you'd easily see how good he is. But i don't think if City wins the CL it would be because of him, mind you that City have always been a team that scores quite a lot of goals, even before Erling joined the club, but their problem in the CL is that they concede too many unnecessary goals (Pep even said the same thing some weeks ago), take for example against Real Madrid in last season's SF, but what changed this season is that City are now a more matured team, especially in defense, and they know when to go all out for attack, and when to sit back and defend, and we saw that side of them against Bayern Munich in the QF second leg, this i think is what would lead City to their first ever CL trophy this season.
