I predict to see Juventus winning this game easily because, unlike Arsenal, Juventus got an experienced coach and they won't make the same mistakes as Arsenal against Sporting. We knew Arsenal was a better team and they have more valuable players and a better coach but they lost because they let Sorting easily press the players and stop the build-up while Juventus usually use long balls which can be useful against Sporting.

Juventus have met Sporting Lisbon twice in the Champions League in the previous season, if we look at Juventus, they were able to beat Sporting Lisbon with a score of 2-1 and one more match ended in a draw.  So this time they will meet in the Europa League in the quarter-finals whose first leg will take place at Juventus Stadium.  Juventus in the Europa League this season have been ordained as a champion candidate if you look at their games in previous matches. Sporting Lisbon surprisingly advanced to the quarter-finals after beating Arsenal. Both of these teams performed well in the Europa League and have high hopes of becoming champions.

I'm a Pogba fan, I think he should be Allegri first choice against Sporting Lisbon in the first leg. Di maria was also very impressive in the europa league in the previous matches. I think they are full of emotion to get the win in the first leg.

Juventus - Sporting is going to be a quite close matchup in my opinion. I don't see a big difference especially after Sporting eliminated the biggest favourite of the tournament which was Arsenal in last round.

This is making Sporting a pretty dangerous team actually. Arsenal were one of the best attacking teams in the Europa League. But Sporting still somehow resisted them in Emirates also and made it to this round by penalties. Juventus are going to be a more different opponent for them though. Juventus would play more cautious against Sporting which can make things more interesting in this matchup. It feels like Juventus can get a good result in Turin in the first leg. In that case Sporting's job would be quite difficult home.

Sporting made a huge football statement by eliminating Arsenal in the just concluded round 16 of UEFA Europa League and so it'll be a huge mistake by anyone to underate Sporting but that being said I'm still backing Juventus to oust them from the competition after the two legged encounter. Juventus fine form has been greatly superb especially after their scandal issues with Italian Football Federation and so they want to finish the season on a high note and winning the Europa League I think winning the competition will be one their current priorities especially now that they mathematically cannot win the tie

I don't know what happened to Arsenal during that game but if they play another 10 times against each other I am sure Arsenal will win all these 10 games.The fact that the Arsenal goalkeeper was super dumb and conceded a goal from the midfield is the main reason for Arsenal elimination.Now with Juventus though I would put an odd of Juventus at home to win at 1.25 and to qualify to next round at 1.35-1.40 as that is how easy this qualification will be for Juventus.Sporting was just lucky against Arsenal but they should know very well that luck cannot be always by your side.

Actually, I also doubt that Sporting will be able to beat Juventus in the QF round later. But overall the Portuguese team deserves appreciation because they have appeared quite solid so far. Moreover, the achievement of getting rid of Arsenal in the last 16 was a very positive result. I think if later in the first leg the two teams draw, then Sporting, who will host the leg, will have little chance of holding another draw and in the end the two teams will have to fight for tickets to the next round with extra time or penalty shootouts. But that's just my speculation and whether it will come true or not, we don't know either.

The Juventus of last season is not the Juventus of this season. There are many changes that have happened in the team. The club is playing extremely well present and they have chances of winning the Europa League. But on the other hand sporting Lisbon was able to eliminate one of the Favorites of the Europa League, which is Arsenal from the league. This has automatically made them one of the most favorites for the Europa League. So I wouldn't be surprised if any of them is eliminated by the other but I strongly tip the Sporting to be able to defeat the Juventus for the next round.

I have always found the head to heads as a very weak type of understanding how teams would play. If they played recently then that could be an understanding, like I get Milan vs Napoli because they just recently played and then they are going to face each other in UCL as well, then you can maybe make a deduction out of that and even that is weak.

However, when it comes to teams that haven't played each other that much, and you have to go as further back as 2018, then it makes absolutely no sense at all. How many players are the same in both teams from the 2018 teams? Is the manager? Hell even owners change during that time for some teams. All in all I think head to head is a weak method to bet.

This has been a brilliant season for Feyenoord, if we look at their achievements in the domestic league a few seasons ago they were almost always in the top 4 positions and now they are proving their capacity to compete again with Ajax and PSV in the standings. Yes, that will be homework that Ten Hag must anticipate if the injured players cannot recover quickly and cannot be played against Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals. I'm still favouring Manchester United very highly to eliminate Sevilla in this round of the tournament. Manchester United are the most favoured team for the Europa League title as well according to bookmakers now.
There is a reason for that of course. They were already one of the biggest favourites while Arsenal were still a part of the tournament. Now they really look like the strongest team among the ones left. They don't play like they care about the Europa League less than the Premier League. Sevilla can't hold them off that easy with this level of performance. They are having a really poor season and they should have been eliminated already by now.

I guess that is what's going to happen, but Sevilla still didn't give themselves up. We have seen how a team like Arsenal can get eliminated and since then I think that there is never a zero chance for the underdogs. This one looks so dominant on paper for Manchester United, but Arsenal vs. Braga looked even more one-sided. Sevilla can be a defense that is hard to crack although they haven't shown that in La Liga all too often this season. That doesn't mean they can't deliver a concentrated performance against Manchester United. I still think they can and this is what their first leg will be all about.

I didn't see the situation of these teams and how Sevilla can be better odds to risk because I can say this will be a really risky division to bet on Sevilla for this match because if they are at this stage it doesn't mean to say they are qualified for it comparing to other teams they lose the Europa League in this season even fenerbahçe because fenerbahçe had better performance than Sevilla.

It means Ten Hag only can temporarily boost their players and cover individual weaknesses by a better cooperation of their players. I don't even think so, casemiro was not able to play in EPL caused by he was getting suspension due to the red card. casemiro will be coming back when MU will be facing sevilla in the upcoming match of europa league. Ten Hag was just also giving the latest update about the condition of eriksen.
