The emphasis on the different competitions is quite a bit different from team to team. For Arsenal, the Premier League title has been the most important one for quite some time now and I think that's right because winning that one against all those other top teams really has value. They are ok by now with losing the Europa League and are focussed on making their dream come true.

When you look at Manchester United it's different. They have given up on the PL title, but for them it would be an amazing season if they win the Europa League and rank among the top four teams in the Premier League. That's actually a perfect season for this year. I don't think in general that is the case because they want more, but when you win a title and rank top four with a team that is getting newly formed, you can be quite optimistic about the future.
