I agree with you because in my opinion Sporting did play better than Juventus. Sporting still has the chance to qualify for the next round if they beat Juventus in the second leg. Juventus' 1 goal advantage is not safe at all, so Sporting must perform better in the second leg which is possible because they are playing at home.

I'm also not going to ignored Sevilla's chance aftrer draw with Manchester United in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. Sevilla are my favorites in the Europa League this season regardless of their form in La Liga, but I believe both teams have a 50:50 chance of qualifying. Sevilla have to prove to Manchester United that they are the best team in the Europa League, so they have to do very well in the second leg at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

The second leg will take place at Sporting headquarters and this is an advantage for them, losing by one goal while playing at the Allianz Stadium is not so bad because the second leg will be played at home, besides that Juventus also played a little worse in Serie A against Sassuolo because they unable to maximize the match, although Allegri tried to rotate and replace players in preparation for the trip to Sporting.
