Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022

I don't think ethereum will pass that 4k price this season because the entire cryptocurrency market has been on a downtrend for the past few months now and many ethereum fans have expected the price to escalate after the merge but nothing different has happened yet.

Over the past few days there is some upward movement with the bitcoin market. Followed is the movement of majority of the altcoins. This is now connected with the acquiring of Twitter by Elon Musk. How far this is true? Whenever there happens something with a person connective to cryptocurrency, automatically people will make it a reason behind the market movements.

In all possible means the price to reach $4000 is during the year of 2024.

Yes ethereum have veing folowing the bitcoin market trend for all it life and most other altcoins also follow the bitcoin trend but then with the recent development in the ethereum network, a lot of fans expected much price rose with eth.

is that so? just because Bitcoin is being followed by Ehtereum meaning it will reach 4k? is there any chance that you care to explain when this will happen? because I cannot see this coming any time soon as the market is still  in bad shape and I cannot see any point for 4k to happen now.

I have lost hope in ethereum since the network migration in mid-last quarter, the development has not really had any effect on ethereum price and I don't think anything will change unless for more centralization of the network.
Ethereum relies so much on Bitcoin and its network may not and can not have any positive change when Bitcoin is suffering a bear market.
