It's too late for Ethereum, the merge won't even do any good for the price either, we ETH adopters need to wait till 2025 to see All time High on Ethereum and Bitcoin again, 2023 will be more tougher with the upcoming inflation and high price on gas and other things.

I definitely believe that it will reach 4k. I mean its not going to be that easy and its going to take a while but I am sure that it will get there. At the end of the day its going to be quite good for sure and we are going to end up with a big profit if we get in right now. So long story short we should just be patient, its going to be a profitable thing but its going to be a hard thing, just wait for it to happen. I know that its going to be hard for many people because they end up constantly losing money, but if they do not end up selling then the ones that don't sell will end up making a profit from it and thats the important thing.

The current merge event is bringing ETH hype.  Many think that there will be a fork once this merge happens and free money is at hand.  I believe this hype will get stronger as the date for merging comes close, and if this hype turns into a FOMO then ETH may possibly hit 4k in 2022, but if FOMO doesn't come then ETH won't even break 3k resistance in this year.

theoretically it is clear that it is true that a merger will make it more stable, but will it automatically make prices increase? of course this is a separate question whether it will be that easy to happen !!!
even though it's clear what you're saying buddy is something that must be done at a time like this, to continue to buy and keep it, indeed hope that the price will increase immediately, but if it hasn't happened, there's no need to regret that when bitcoin increases it is certain that ethereum will also participate.

currently the price of ethereum is at $ 1,581 and if there will be a significant increase of course it can happen 2x and it will probably be priced at $ 3K, if to reach more it will probably coincide with an increase from bitcoin. it's clear that ethereum will make ATH renewable and that's highly anticipated.

I just don't have high hopes for it. I would probably focus more on collecting ethereum. I'm pretty sure that ethereum could hit $4k in the future. but I'm not so sure I can reach $4k this year if market conditions continue to deteriorate through the end of the year.

Market or most of the cryptos are in bad shape but I think not for eth. Eth merge will happen on september so I don't think that was the main reason on why the price of eth is increasing but maybe the excitement around it have made a positive effect because you know people could be buying loads of eth right now in preparation for it and also whales are trying to manipulate the price to move upwards to attract more people to jump in.

4k dollar isn't that huge imo and eth is now close to 2k but once it crosses it, the last half are now going to be much easier. We still have 4 months left before we end the year so I think we can be able to make it.

I think influence of eth merge in term of value will be kinda insignificant since the rumour of merge itself already increase its value so i think the merge itself will just have less influence than the rumour as usually.
instead I think in term of reaching $4k again it will requires eth waiting for changing of trend instead, since the merge will be kinda insufficient.

I think that in a way those that were expecting for the price of ethereum to go up significantly during this year due to that news were reasonable about their expectations, but what happens is that the conditions all over the world are so bad that there is simply no possibility at all for that to happen during this year, and while this is bad news at the same time I think this will eventually be reflected in the price, and this means that we have a longer period of time to try to buy ethereum and wait for that day to come.

not until the merging happens? everything will remain speculative and that is something we must only look into consideration but never expect too much from it.

Look eth mining generates $25,000,000 income a day.

Yeah you need to pay off power and cooling but after that you are at least $15,000,000 profit a day.

I agree on that there is a possibility but there is no exact date on when this 4k$ will be hit. I also did not believe that it will hit this year because i saw the market is still suffering from bear season and btc is stable at 20k$ so there is no good effect with the altcoin market, if the bitcoin bear season end then we might see the altcoins rise up high but it is not sure if it reach 4k$ that was so high i think my spectations is just 2.5k$.

Bitcoin has further retraced from its $20k price range, so it's highly unlikely ETH will get to $4k by the end of 2022. There's really no way for ETH or any other cryptocurrency to go all the way to the moon unless the global economy is back on its feet. How would you expect demand for crypto to increase if food and gas prices are soaring like crazy? Only the wealthy will be able to pour money into crypto because they have money to spare.

Considering that we're still in a recession, it's going to take quite a long time before we'll be able to see ETH back above $2k again. At least, the network is healthy. As long as the ETH blockchain remains decentralized, nothing else matters. Just my opinion

But they easily survive 4000  in year 2022 because its a very useful cryptocurrency  and current situation they rise day by day and soon they Cross 2000.
