Money is first and foremost a tool. A tool to achieve goals. The motivating factor will be what you strive to get, and money will help here. I think it's wrong to think that money is a motivating factor. "Chasing" money just for the sake of having it? I think this is a little strange. There is always something "worth" behind the money, the same yacht or lambo. Anything you want to buy with that money.
 

Others may have misinterpreted it and sees money as the one that motivates them to work hard and strive more. But definitely, it’s not the money itself but rather the purpose or reason why you should have that money. Some would want to reward themselves and buy something valuable, and some badly needed them just for survival. But the good thing is, at least we should always work hard first so we can get what we want in life, and that money is just a tool for it.

It is true that the majority of people struggle hard to collect as much money as possible, it does not mean that everyone is motivated by money.
But that's because they are motivated to be able to get something of value, which only by having money can they get something of value.
This means that everyone who wants to have money, behind it there must be a certain goal that they want to get. Like my goal of having money is
to buy things that I think are valuable, so what motivates me is actually the things I want. Suppose I want to have a luxury house, then I will collect
a lot of money to be able to buy the luxury house that I want. This means that the factor that motivates me is a luxury house, because money itself is
only an object used for buying and selling transactions.

What's your take on this?

For long time money has been created so that we can get something that we want to get. Besides that, money is not bad, it just becomes bad because of the person who uses it. Why? Money becomes a way or reason for people to do good or bad. The question is how do people or individuals make money? The proper way for you to have money is to have a proper job, whether your position is high or low or if you have your own business. In a bad way, people can get money by stealing, embezzlement, and all illegal things that they can get money from.

In short, it is up to our people how we recognize money in our lives if money is the only reason for us to live in this era, for me this is a wrong view and belief. Because even if we don't have money, we can still live well if we are a resourceful and capable person who knows how to have it.

Of course money is the best motivation to do many things, with money we have the passion to work, and do work professionally, besides that with money we can tell whether we deserve to be expensive or cheap.

But don't let money mislead us, because it's not uncommon for people to be idealistic at first but after getting to know the money they are even eviler than imagined. We can take a lesson from a corruptor, isn't money their motivation when they do something very bad eating something that is not their right? This is an example of when they are misled by money so that they easily harm others and even themselves. Money being motivation is a good thing, but don't forget that it's not always about money and you have to be good at dividing when you do it and when you shouldn't.

The saying time is money doesn't mean money is everything, a saying like that has a universal meaning in my opinion. Time is money in my opinion is the importance we value time. Sometimes we forget precious time and put more importance on something that can be said to be not very meaningful. Because if money is everything then in life there will be no such thing as morals, norms and so on. Everyone will definitely do everything possible in various ways, including those who violate applicable regulations. We should not misinterpret this because it may lead us astray.

Do you really think that money are the main goal in life? What about for example education or knowledge then? Imagine someone becomes so rich and own all the money in the world, what should he do next? His life goal is achieved. Should he die then?

I think that money are an international instrument to measure success. You finish something, you get a reward, you get paid. The better you do, to more you are getting paid. More money you have, more you can spend, more you can get, more you will be motivated to earn. That is it. But imo, money are not the goal of life.

With money indeed it can be a motivation in itself and I have no problem with statements like that,
but it's different if money is the main goal because not everything is always related to money,

But believe me I dont like greedy people and I dont like people talking about money all the time - and forget all the blessing around us. At the end we all meet our fate - and we all go from the world empty handed.

No one will like greedy people, because it will harm others in the end. A greedy person will not care about anyone as long as he gets pleasure from what he wants. Sometimes he will get rid of his own family if he tries to harm him. This is a fact because many of the same incidents I have witnessed myself. For example in the case of inheritance, I see that he is a "greedy person" who doesn't care about his own family and tries to dominate whatever is available. Not infrequently it ends up on the court table. Greedy people only care about themselves.

The whole world revolves around it so definitely it’s motivating factor for us. In fact we can’t even breath without money these  days. Get this: We go to job, we earn, we spend, we flourish our lives with that money. If somehow one is thrown out of their employment then it could become disastrous for that person. Imagine all of that chain stopping right there and he would go crazy. This is why it’s obvious that peeps are motivated with the money and they want it a lot and a lot all the time.

Each one of us does have that greediness inside, it do only differs on certain person on what extent they would really be able to control.If you do really make money as some sort of god or you are really that

praising and hoping that much, then most likely you would really be ending up with these kind of actions.You wouldnt really care about relation and other things correlated as long you could really get more money.

It isnt really that bad to aim for more income or something like that, but when you are already touching other peoples principles and doesnt really show any respect
then this is where problems do start or arise.

What's your take on this?

Being rich is great but doesn't guarantee you are a successful being. Money can't buy everything. Or can you buy happiness with money? If one allows money to lead him/her, he/she will definitely find himself/herself in the pit. This is why money ritualist, kidnappers and others are common in some developing. People there just want to make money by all means so this make them to be lead by money. It's always better for one to take cautious when dealing with money so as not to fall a victim of money follower.

Agreed, when an employee gets paid for what he have done will surely be a big motivation for him/her. When the same isn't satisfactory, surely the commitment towards the work won't be effective. Whether you work smart/hard, if you aren't paid good, then nothing can keep us motivated (until we run our own business). Education systems need to change in some parts of the world. In my country they teach, you study well, and you get good job so that you can earn big. This shouldn't be the way of teaching.

Money is always good. In our everyday life their are things we should have done to get more money but because of the lack of money it is not just possible to achieve it. Money genates more money to people who are financially alright. Money is always important and always plays good roles.

On the one hand, balance is really needed in everything, but on the other hand, a lot depends on the character of the person himself, his priorities, his needs. I think that if a person has a goal to earn more money, then he is more likely to achieve this, because he will put more effort into it, devote more time to it, choose the field of activity that will make it more likely to achieve this. If a person has other priorities, then of course he will also earn enough, but still not as much as a person aspiring to it.

Talking about the workplace, everyone needs to have a comfortable workplace. Because it comes from personal experience, I prefer a work place that makes me comfortable, be it from my work environment, colleagues or so on. Because if we are in a workplace that is not comfortable for us, it will put pressure on our mentality and it will affect something we do. Obviously if we worship money and work for money is something wrong in my view. I like what you say that we have to work smart. But if we do these 2 things (work smart and hard) of course the results will be even better.

This also depends on the country we live in. Even if the conditions you mentioned are met, it is difficult to be happy if the purchasing power of the money you earn is low. We can improve our conditions with our own efforts, but we cannot improve our salary. This is one of my sad points. As you said, if the working environment in the workplace is comfortable, at least we feel better. As a result, money is motivating, but the ways to make money are of great importance in this regard.

We cannot avoid that money would play a role for us to keep going and getting motivated on what we do. There are people who can’t seem to be happy and motivated to continue working because of their poor financial status.

But at the same time, we are also not happy and easily get bored if we just work for something that is not giving us the passion, excitement, etc., despite receiving at least a decent amount of money every day, week, month or so.

For us to sustain, we must balance both passion and money. Never quit from your boring job to fully focus on your passion. That is my biggest mistake back then years ago where I quit my high paying job to chase my passion, but in the end I cannot sustain myself and got broke.

You must be financially stable and established first before you can fully enjoy what you’ve been passionate on.

people sometimes are enslaved by money, without them realizing they are slaves to money, they are constantly looking for money, after getting money, they feel lacking.

People who are slaves to money, like to forget true happiness.

Be a person who can control money, don't want to be controlled by money.

In fact, money is not a source of motivation. The main motivator of a person is the happiness that he will eventually achieve. Money does not mean happiness either.
Money is a great power. It is the size that a person who does not know how to control should not use. Otherwise, it will cause great damage to the environment.
