My worst day in gambling

I believe everybody has their worst day in gambling especially if you started gambling early maybe in your teenage age. My worst day was when I used my school fees to gamble because I thought I will make more money to take care of some of my needs in school. At the beginning I was making profit for 2hrs,I was carried away with the anxiety of winning but later the game turned round and I was losing and losing,I didn't quit hoping I will recover my lost. Before I knew it I was left with 10% of the money I started with, I couldn't just quit the game then because I still feel I will start winning again but luck failed me and I got drained of all I have on me.

    Two weeks later it was announced in school that we only had one more week left for closure of school fees payment, I tried borrowing, seek for help everywhere but nobody could help me with the money.  This was how I couldn't pay my fee for that semester and went home with carry overs after the end of the semester as I was not allowed to write some exams.

  How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?
  

The number one rule of gambling is risk what you can afford to lose. To start with, you made a silly decision by playing with your school fees. Secondly, whenever you're gambling and there's a serial lose please take a break and not trying to recover your lose else you'll end up losing all.

Play expecting not to win most days until you find yourself lucky or on a good streak and then only then increase your rate of play or size.   Makes sense to learn all the games first using small amounts, in an actual physical casino it might be a bit embarrassing to use tiny amounts but online play as you wish till you find a path to make betting larger worth it.

My general take on life is, anything we are not fully grateful for we lose.   Some of the richest people are not fully grateful and so are not happy or appreciative of all they have won in life, the correct path to winning on any game is to appreciate and be thankful for any luck at any size you play on.  If patience is kept and the game is learnt when it really matters you have the correct weighting in your head to know when to take the gamble or to avoid risk.

Expectations leads to disappointment so it's better to not expect winning on your gambling activities and aim for enjoyment instead so you won't feel bad whenever you lose but still be able to enjoy winning. I also try to do this every now and then however I often feel disappointed whenever I've been gambling for a long time and won some amount but end up losing.

It's better to also know when to stop gambling especially when we are already on a profit so that way we can maximize our pleasure as well as be able to earn and avoid loses.

Sometimes, our greedy desires will actually make us even lower. many incidents like this, using money that should be for certain needs to gamble. I often wonder if these people don't think twice about doing it. But I am aware that when we have been hit by excessive lust and greed, such thoughts or considerations will disappear before the arrival of regret. And finally, the regret of this gambling loss will always happen when bad things have happened.

Its common sense on which it would really be that you would be fucking up yourself if you dont really make yourself that having good self  control and made out decisions.You wouldn't really be that dumb
on not to be aware on whats happening around specially into your finances.If you do notice that you are on a losing streak then it would be understandable that you should stop.
Dont make things even more worst by stopping completely and calling it a day.Dont make yourself that emotionally impulsive when it comes to gambling decisions.

I do not gamble with money that will affect my life. I have my own limits. Also, I generally manage to hold my own in this regard, but once I gambled with borrowed money and lost. After that day, I never did anything like that again. Sometimes the bad experiences we have can be a good lesson for us.

Only a few gamblers are able to discipline themselves completely.  Even though I am aware of this thing, there are times when I got out of control where I bet more than I planned.  I know how disastrous it is when we spend more than we can afford to lose on gambling.  I also have a share of this kind of experience but I am lucky I managed to fix things before they become a problem for me.  I learned my lesson from these mistakes and I always try to have a grasp of myself whenever I am engaging in gambling activities.

True it is common sense but there are times when a gambler got trapped in the game.  No matter how hard they try to stop, they got hooked on it for several reasons.  You may not know the feeling of being trapped in gambling but once you experience it I bet you would understand those people who were trapped in gambling activity more.

I successfully managed to reach the required wager and my total earnings rise up to BTC0.8 although at that time the exchange rate is not that high. Instead of withdrawing, I continue to gamble and lose it all although I didn't lose it in an instant.

You have to work on yourself if you want to continue gambling since you already know where you are lacking. Self-control and discipline are important in gambling, you don't have to win all the time, or must win after losses. I would have loved to read about your experience in gambling, and I can assure you that people will not be surprised as a worse gambler than you exists. I was a full-fledged adult when I started gambling, which might have helped me from being addicted to gambling anyhow. Gambling isn't an easy way out of poverty. It isn't also a shortcut to become wealthy. Most people have this perception that gambling can be their way to success. It isn't. Gambling has a lot of risks if you want and you are planning for it to become one of your major stream of income. Gambling is a recreational activity that should stimulate relaxation and not stress if you'll only do it right. It can also be your additional source of income if you are good in betting and if you are lucky enough. You dont have the right on hurting up a woman specially if shes still your GF or even on being married which it is not something a true man would do.We are really that prone to mistakes and errors since we are just

humans but eventually because of those mistakes we do eventually learn up and gain experience which would really be helpful on making yourself that aware on things which is happening around.

She shouldn't have done that, because we people are getting into different jobs and doing the best of our ability just to have good food, shelter and clothing. She should've stopped, when she found herself losing. Atleast bought the food and spend the rest on gambling. As said for any reason we don't have the right to beat others, and you've controlled yourself which is good of you. Maybe if you've beaten her, she could've took that in the opposite Way. Now atleast she'll understand her mistake.

Expecting to much on something not usual to come is sometimes bad since this will create to much expectation which could also lead to disastrous incident on a day. That's why we should never try to extend our game time chasing for luck to come since we will experience a truly bad day in gambling if we lose a huge amount of money and this is truly stressful especially for the beginners. Most people really had that certain point in their lives wherein they thought that something will be their way out of poverty and road to success, but failed in the process of trying to attain it. Most gamblers and even those people who are merely risk-takers already experienced that kind of scenario. It is hard to undergo such because of course, the time, money, and effort you exerted were just put into waste, but that's the reality in risking into something. Sometimes, the odds don't just side in our favor, and that's a hard pill to swallow, but we have to accept it eventually. Learning from the mistakes that we committed unintentionally because of lack of knowledge is what matters. The moment we experienced the hardships, it will make it easier to address the problems that might arise in the future with shifting perspectives and viewpoint.

There are many professions and side hustles which someone can excel to, I agree with that. We just have to find the one that suits us the best. We still have to be careful to avoid trouble and inconveniences despite having many experiences. Earning money is important, but let's not use this thought just to impulsively do things that might bring harm to us instead of good.
