The qualification didn’t come that easy for Spain because they had to give all they had in order to advance to the semifinals of the competition. It is so sad to watch Kroos playing his last career match and ending in a loss. Whatever the outcome of this match was, he’ll be remembered a legend in the history of football. This is how football is, when you need to finish your career in the best style, you end up getting a disappointment. We are currently witnessing the most interesting part of this tournament, being today's Spain vs. Germany game and France vs. Portugal match. Spain vs. Germany in my opinion should have been the final game of this, but it happened that both had to meet each other at this stage and which Germany has left the competition because these two teams are spectacular in their performance this tournament, however one must get eliminated and which the host nation has chosen this part to go home regardless of their incredible performance.

Previously I predicted that Germany would qualify for the next round by beating Spain, but in the end they failed to live up to expectations. There are many shortcomings in Germany game today, where there are many opportunities that failed to convert into goals. The course of the match was quite troublesome for both teams, at first glance both teams played with a balanced rhythm in buying and selling attacks.

Honestly I didn't believe Germany will be eliminated because watching how they played in this quarter final I was thinking if they were same squad that started the competition that were playing today's game like the match was so entertaining and full of tense but it's unfortunate that Spain had the lucky win at last. I assumed it was tiredness that led to Rüdiger making that costly mistake because he was very helpful for his team right from the beginning of the competition but even though Germany didn't advance to the Semi finals but I'm impressed with their performance this evening. Wow, this is interesting I was thinking about the probabilities between the two big matches today, and saw that several people had already made their choices while I still couldn't see any significant differences whether it was Germany and Spain or Portugal and France. The hosts seem to be very aggressive and interestingly Spain also has the same game format where Spain has shown a fast style of play. In the hands of Luis de la Fuente, Spain game no longer adheres to tiki taka, therefore in almost every match Spain is able to carry out a total attack in the first minute.

Returning to the tough choice that must be made for Germany vs Spain, I will bet on Spain winning, and Portugal vs France so for me Portugal is slightly more favored.

Did Spain deserve the win? They definitely did!    They have such a great squad depth though. Merino's header was so good that I don't think any other goalkeeper would also be able to save it either.

The referee literally did everything he could for Germany to score in the stoppage time honestly.    But Germany still couldn't score and failed their fans in a competition being organized home.

This match between Portugal vs France is really going to be a very tough game, as I see this as a fight on who is the best between Ronaldo and Mbappe specifically, of which this game is likely to end draw with an extra time just as the just concluded game "Spain vs Germany" ended draw with an extra time up to 120 minutes. However, it's already 30 minutes with both team still playing goal-less, whereas  Portugal is currently in full control of the ball possession with both teams playing a defensive game. But in the worst case scenario, I see Portugal winning this game with a penalty kick.
