Yep not all new projects are every risky to invest because indeed there's bunch of legitimate projects in the market. but yes we need to bear in mind to make research always and to accumulate real information if we really want to prevent scams because if you do nothing and just riding the rumours, then you will end up losses . unfortunately some of them only come to take profit to get rich quick. This actually makes them continue to lose. I don't mind beginners entering the market and even buying new projects, but they always believe that investing in one project will make them rich. this makes me sad.

If you are pertaining to those project who has a fundamental progress on their project, I believe there are only a very few percentage of them planning to get rich quickly. Project who achieve their big plans will most likely stick to their project without the intent of giving it up by scamming people. Those project who has a slow traction to the community are the ones who are prone of being scam. I've seen few good projects that has a good progress and idea about their project but they are lacking people who support it, Some of them turned into scamming people. It's hard to pick a project that has no ill intent of scamming people but if you lucky enough to find them, I'm sure profit will come to you.

I mean I'm as bullish as anyone on bitcoin but to say it's a risk free decision that's a bit overboard.  Crypto is still one of the most volatile markets out there.  Binance can easily fall to nothing just as much as it can go up.  It's ALL risky since greed drives this market.

Taking risk if you are newbie takes you to 2 result.

First result; you will get lot of money from cryptos. But you won't how did you manage get that profit!

Second result; You lose lot of money and you won't know what was your mistake.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to make their investment portfolio mostly of new projects, but if you have an altcoin portfolio, it would make sense to add some promising new projects there, which can turn into a major project in 2-3 years. Projects like Polygon, Solana, Matic used to be new projects too, and at the time the same people would say stay away from these new projects because they involve high risk.

Please note, there is no risk-free system in the cryptocurrency world. There is always a risk, although it is a low risk. So, be wise about everything that you are doing in the crypto investment.

But, never ensure other newbies about this and guarantee them about investing in the new project rbrand. Why? Because they are high risks. If you don't know about nay project and how to analyze it, be wise and smart, better to stay away. Although you may be able to get 50x profits in the new project, the risk is also probably worse. It sems like being in the gambling, you may earn high profits but also you may take the lost of your oney in the new project

You are right, but only some successful new projects last 2-3 years but hundreds of other new projects end up as scams, so choosing investment is very high risk because of 1:100 ratio for potential new projects, like polygon, solana and others. So currently I am ignoring investing in new projects and buying top coins at the highest discounted prices.

cryptocurrencies are inherently risky, if you cannot afford to find potential new projects then you should choose top projects. but top projects are also at risk, the fall of Luna is proof to us that even the top coin with a market cap of 60 billion can make you lose money like other projects

They were thinking in the right thing. I meant if they were not investing in the low cap token and when they will be rich? The fact that if people with small amounts of money will always be looking for the hidden gem in the market. this is the only way for them to generate decent money from the makret. If you were always calling them to invest in the big cap tokens and that will not them to make decent profit from the market.

I agree with the fact that not all new projects are bad. The issue is not about whether the project is bad or not. It's about the extent of risk involved in choosing the right project and portfolio to build. Newbies are advised to focus on the old projects because of the fact that they have less risky tendency and good be worth more in the long term. Most new projects lacks foundation and newbies may not be able to decipher the signs which may lead to the project collapse.

You really need to be careful who you take advice from. Yes, the profit potential on newly released projects is likely higher (depending on presale conditions) but older projects that are still actively developed (like ICP and FTM) and are down 90%+ will likely return to their ATH soon and give you massive returns.

You mentioned that someone else says that you shouldn't invest in new projects that come out of the crypto industry, at that point we should consider something, you shouldn't just believe what others have said here. and obey.

This is the beauty of this forum platform because we have our own opinions whereas most of the others here who have high ranks give their advice based on their experiences, of course, they do the same. In short, I support what you say that not all new projects that come out here usually end up being scams, there are still some that end up being successful.
