Obviously it is right now, not just retired boxers, but MMA/UFC or any other sport want to get their hands on this so called exhibition match for money and get that adrenaline pumping again. I agree that Paul brothers have started that exhibition fight killing spree. They were not the first who have started exhibition fights, but they were first to match pro vs non pro / average Joe fights. Boxing in general kills other sports, with their enormous rewards. We all know how to swing hands and punch, but we dont earn million per second with that. Other sports also rewards pro players with millions, but they have long lasting contracts. In boxing - run and be knocked out, get a million, go home, attract everyone.

$5 million is a decent amount for an exhibition fight, Pacman was not even trying hard to win, so it's called easy Money for Manny. 
About the charity donation, there's plenty of charity in the Philippines, so if Pacman would really give everything he received, that will be a big help for the charities selected.

Well, you do have the point but we wont be able to know if a certain athlete or fighter or something like this does able to make out investment or able to put up their money in the right place or not.

I admire the Paul brothers for being smart.  They had progressed from being a vlogger to a sports promoter.  They do know how to handle marketing stuff and even put themselves on the line in order to hit their target.

Totally a mismatch considering on what sports that they are really that involved with or something that they have the interest on.Yes, they can fight but not something that could get in par with those fighters which

Not receiving any money? Probably as we all know that Manny loves to help his fellow Pinoy.

But maybe in his next exhibition match in Saudi Arabia, he might be getting some, perhaps to cover some expenses and other small things that he needs to settle. And I also do believed that boxers specially in exhibition matches are still looking for good money. It's the only way that they can still get some when they are retired already so same case with Manny here.
