I think football injury can be discussed on this thread ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions because it will affect the odds and predictions. I don't think there's a gambler who will bet randomly without checking the main line up, where the match will be held, etc etc. Also even though the players aren't injured, there's a chance if the managers wouldn't let him to play due to few reason or his strategy. I think the OP has done the right thing by creating a thread like this, in this world cup soccer betting it's very important because I wouldn't choose to bet on a team that has a lot of injured core players. I will be eyeing Brazil and England national teams, they are at full strength to play in the world cup.

I wasn't so convinced of Pogba the last two years anyway, but what he does is he provides a lot to the balance within the team. When you check out their team now it has quite a strong tendency to play too offensively. Players iike Pogba and Kante are a very strong second defense line within the French game and this is what they might be missing this tournament. Still though their offensive power might easily be able to compensate for that. For me they are still among the top favorites.

Depends on the type of manager, type of team, and type of player to do that. We all famously know that Ramos had that type of mindset and Mourinho was fine with it, maybe he even encouraged it but I cannot say, but Ramos definitely had that mindset. He would cherish a red card if it meant that he would injure the player on the other side.

He did that to Messi a million times, and he famously did it to Salah on the UCL finals as well. Is there still some players who do it? Muscular Discomfort could be basically just a hamstring type of deal and I am not considering it as bad as it could be, like not something that could miss the world cup. That doesn't mean that we would be seeing it going crazy, there is a big chance that it could be just because he wants to rest until world cup and not play during last games of PSG and focus instead just on getting better and resting and all that so he would be ready.

It would not impact his fitness for the world cup, it’s just a stomach problem, basically like how when you eat bad food and it makes you sick, and then you can't leave the toilet for a long time, same thing here.

It is indeed a sad situation for Mane, for Senegalese and for Africans and also for all football lovers in the world. Since I saw in the internet that Mane underwent surgery and will not participate in the world Cup, I am honestly not happy.
There are no many big names in Africa to watch and the ones that could appear are no more. No Mane, No Salah, No Mahrez and no big Nigerian boys appearing anywhere in Qatar.
This world Cup is just not favourable for Africans.
