Neymar is very important player in the Brazil national team and they would want to do everything possible to ensure he comes back quickly. We have hard issues when some player would be given pain killers just to ensure that they come back to the team. Well what happens is that Neymar's injury as I see it is not that serious, for me the swelling has gone down and what he needs is at least 1 week of rest, what he has to do after the week is to let him play but not completely, but at least 1 time of 45 minutes, of course to save the corresponding rest for the player.

Now with regard to what I know about these injuries, it is that the player within that week what he needs is to do weight training little by little, because he needs to strengthen himself, and that ankle is very sensitive and he needs to gain strength quickly, It is complicated because that type of injury with a touch that is given to it returns to the same or worse, and the worst thing is that it becomes a sprain.

Neymar is expected to return in only a few days according to some sources. It is very good news for Brazil of course. They are still doing good without him for now as they are close to winning the Switzerland game by 1-0 now. Neymar was replaced with Fred in the starting eleven of this game by the way. They still have a great trio on the front like Vinicius Jr - Richarlison - Raphinha. Brazil's luck has always been with the attackers especially.
