Elon is a businessman I doubt he will find this place profitable enough to express his interest. He didn't buy Twitter because of its uniqueness, there is something to be gained in return.
what will he gain from buying bitcointalk? except he will redesign the whole operation of this platform and turn it into revenue generating platform. Or he does it for the name and prestige, being the one to own the one forum that satoshi created. But i feel Elon is too business oriented for that.

Disagree, considering that Elon has more power after buying Twitter and there are many policies that are detrimental to their workers or employees, so I am very worried that there will be policy changes that are very detrimental to this forum as well. This.  Hispo hit the nail on the head.  This website wouldn't be worth Elon's time to even take a meeting on it.  I doubt you could even get a one word reply if you texted him with an offer to take ownership of this site for free.  The guy is worth so much, his time is heavily regulated and the idea that he would spend even his toilet time responding to an offer for a web forum is ridiculous.  Not to mention this site is actively reducing it's revenue sources while adding additional expenses and a replacement website has been in the works for a decade. 

I think you'd have more luck trying to sell this site to Roger Ver or Craig Wright.

the future is unpredictable but looking at the current situation, I wouldn't change my prediction about Elon's acquisition of this forum. Forum is almost useless for him, if he is a Satoshi fan then bitcoin is a better choice for him. Although he is still talking about bitcoin, there are doubts whether he is really interested in bitcoin or just trying to find a way to profit himself like he did with bitcoin and doge in 2021. If bitcoin is really just a profit making tool and he leaves after achieving his goal then the forum will be nothing to him.

No, I don't and never agree, and I think the moderators and everyone involved in creating this forum are not money oriented so the opportunity to sell it to anyone including elon will be possible, I might even say impossible, not everything can be valued in money.
What makes you think this forum would be superior if he bought it? the amount of money he has will not be able to make this forum better than it is now other than making it centralized and proof of account ownership is no longer by means of bitcoin stake addresses but by verifying documents, and this will not be liked.

In regards to buying this forum, It's Not For Sale. It's more like a National asset which represents the Bitcoin Cyber Nation, an opensource community. Imagine USA government selling www.state.gov or something like that to Trump or Billgate. Or even your national government selling national sites to the rich ones in your country. The forum is as important as government sites because Bitcoin founders who are more like National founding "fathers" will be very displeased to see something they built for the good of Bitcoin getting sold to someone who likely does not share in the Bitcoin values/ideals and will likely be heavily abused by him with privacy invasive, mind control, parasitic technology for example.

By the way, the Bitcoin system which the bitcointalk forum represents is a shared Public Network owned together by its Citizens who believe in its good values, help in preserving them and making Bitcoin better. Elon only interested in the Financial gaining website.He try to double or triple his money by buying assets. Instead of buying a bitcointalk, he can buy of reddit or discord or you tube. Which is very close to the twitter. If Elon musk buy the reddit Or discord he can control over huge projects.Where he can make post good based on his opinion. It won't be possible for him to buy bitcointalk because bitcointalk is not like twitter or other social media platforms. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency,  not owned by anybody so as the bitcointalk.  Bitcointalk is a place where people come and learn about bitcoin and share their challenges so I don't see why Elon musk would want to buy bitcoin,  it doesn't make any sense. Bitcointalk is not for sale, rather elon musk is always welcome to the forum to come learn more about bitcoin  and to share his ideas😉.

I think he won't even bother buying Bitcointalk, there's no marketing value here except for cryptocurrency. Elon wants Twitter because it's huge, a lot of people are using it, worst case scenario is if he's after for the data as well that he might use to something, who knows. He could easily advertise his products there for free if he buys it. I also doubt that this forum is for sale, I bet this would not be sold in any amount because this forum is very important.

People in the current administration of this forum at least share the values of Satoshi and were here from the beginning, while Bitcoin was tagged as scam, ponzi and dark currency, they still believe in the vision of decentralized money and that (in my opinion) is not for sale.

I do not want to see a future where Elon Boy is taking over Bitcointalk. I don’t think he is that interested as he is more focused on Twitter, Tesla, etc.

I strongly believe that even if he offers billions, it will likely be rejected. We just wanted Bitcointalk to remain as ease from the very beginning.

No. Check out this site's domain extension; it's .org. I don't think Elon would be interested in buying a non-profit organization/site/institution. Even if Elon is wanna buy this forum, I don't think Theymos and all the staff/people who run this forum will sell it. Elon is a businessman. He doesn't care about Bitcoin; he only cares about projects that can support his business.

Yes, of course they will maintain the forum not to be sold, maybe even theymos will survive to continue to develop a bigger community not in terms of business, while Elon Musk is a businessman he will not see opportunities here, so he will not be interested in forums at all or any organization that is a community and this is very different from the social media he bought Twitter.

What updates does he follow here?, the forum is just a small space for small investors like us to come here to exchange, share news and knowledge with each other. There's nothing he needs here. What is the reason he needs twitter?, he needs it for his business and the forum doesn't provide that feature for him.
Twitter is like other social networks, it brings together millions of people around the world with different needs but the forum is just a place to talk about cryptocurrencies and gambling, I don't think he is a gambler . Just because he is an early adopter of cryptocurrencies like us doesn't mean he likes to discuss like we do, he has a lot of money and wants to invest just spend it.

I see that he is still running Twitter very well and things take time to sort things out, he just took over it and has a lot to clean up and rebuild.
He's smart enough to pay billions of dollars for it, I don't think he bought it on a whim. Look at what he's got, that means he's on the right track, otherwise he wouldn't have become the richest billionaire in the world.

Creating mobile applications is not too difficult and does not need Elon's support. I believe the administrators have a good reason not to upgrade the forum after all these years, perhaps they want to keep all the things that Satoshi left us, a pure original like bitcoin. But the idea of a mobile version is interesting, I also find it inconvenient to use the forum by phone sometimes.
