Well, for me animal fighting is not fun and should not be use as tool for gambling. But if it's not prohibited by the Government, these people won't stop using animal, because as you've said it's fun for those who are engaging themselves in this kind of activity. Many men elders are taking care of rooster as business (they sell it when ready) or use it for fighting for their own satisfaction. We have an arena where cock fighting is held, it's legal. Good idea, indeed my country there are still some people who do gambling with fighting chickens. But I'm not sure they'll switch to this model. The reason is that they don't understand technologies like NFTs. Need introduction or socialization. They prefer cash to be received directly without intermediaries.

Seeing animals fighting around us is not fun especially gambling on this type of game. I know that there are many types of games where gamblers bet on animal fighting and this is famous in developing countries or the third world, but in developed countries it will be difficult to find it because they protect animals so much.
This type of gambling also exists in my country but it is done but private acsess because it is illegal even though gamblers can still play it in various ways, for example playing in hidden places and gamblers who come have been filtered first in various ways.

Until the industry became so corrupt that there was game fixing that results in kidnapping and killing that the government have to stop the operation, they have no choice but to do that, because of this cock fighting so many humans are sacrificed

I'd hate to be on the side of animal torture, but I feel I should say that I was much younger when I thought a fish fights website wound be a good idea (decades ago, I'm old).  Nowadays I'm 100x more likely to kill a human being than an animal of any kind (take that however you want).  I don't even fish anymore or own any captive animals.  However, I think there are plenty of horrible animal abuses occurring at a much larger scale than any fighting games.  In my defense, some of these animals (like Japanese fighting fish) even do these actions normally.  They don't need to be trained to fight, it's what they do (unlike dogs that for the most part get along in packs unless taught bad behavior).  I'd also point out that human beings fight for sport, and most other animals fight as well (for clout).

That being said, I give plenty of money to the ASPCA and don't think any animal should ever be subjected to anything but love.  I reject the idea that I would promote the torture of innocent animals.  However, me being a sick fuck is still debatable.

Betting and making money off animal fights is the worst kind of gambling I would ever experience, in my country, we have a game called "Aja Sera" which simply means "Dog race" where dogs are branded and forced to race and gamblers placing bets on the dogs, this is simply animal abuse and should be highly discouraged.

You're right this type of game is what has been evoke since the early days in gambling when there have not been any digital technology with gambling during that era, not only cock but gamblers also make use of other animals like rams to gamble in those days, this were best enjoyed on an open field with a numbers of spectators to witness the fight and also cast their bet, cock fight is as interesting and same way entertaining and gamblers still practice this type of gamblings till present days all over the world but common in the remote regions under rural settings.
