Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Here I am.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.

HERE WE GO FOLKS!

BEARS PISS OFF THIS THREAD!

Some people are easily excitable.  $3.20 and it's a rally?

Hopefully bitcoin does go up like a space shuttle.  Unless it's the Challenger.

It suddenly went to $3.38 the day he posted it, so it's very understandable...

I'm still way long, but I took this opportunity to deleverage a little in case I have an opportunity to lower my base price.  However, with up to $500 per Dwolla account instantly available over the weekend, we may see the price start to stay up.

I stopped daytrading since I sucked at it, now I'm just long term long. Basically I have as much faith in the Euro as I have in Bitcoin, so I might as well diversify.

Doesn't mean I don't want the price to go UP!

I just recently started playing with bitcoinica because they let me put down bitcoins to borrow dollars to buy bitcoins Smiley.  I just sold a few to reduce my exposure and maybe grab some cheap coins if we move down.
