i think somone is trading so many bitcoins that mtgox is just overloaded and is somehow shutting down updating of the recent data - the output of the tickers is just frozen, while the transaction are far far away...
the one who can get the most recent info is the one to win Smiley
mtgox - you suck with this! Smiley

Notice how several of the large ask walls above 6 got taken down.  Pussy.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Or they were from the same guy who put up the bid wall.  Resume rally.

Yeah, that's what I really think it is.  Put up big scary ask walls.  Price goes down.  Buy into accumulating asks.  Remove ask walls.

That wall at 6, by the way, isn't there any more, if it ever was actually there in the first place.

if I was trying to actually trade in this market, I'd be pretty miffed. Basically it seems none of the data from gox can be trusted right now.

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

I think it can be trusted, just no live data at the moment. If you keep reloading mtgox it gives you the price, and same with clarkmoody. Mtgoxlive seems just dead though. Still worthy of being miffed about though.

finally

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

I'm positively surprised! Usually when I think that the situation is fairly neutral, price goes down. Now it's going up... it's a bullish market ladies and gentlemen.

$7.2 is still the big barrier that has to be broken before we can possibly leave these prices. If it doesn't, we will continue to bounce between $5 and $7.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!
