Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu)

Pakistani Community is now in now full active and I hope that the The day is not far when everyone will congratulate Pakistani members for this achievement.

I am very sure the administrator will consider this request very soon. All we need is keep this thread active. Meanwhile the Pakistani community has become more active as their total number of posts for Dec 2022 are 305, which is more than Nov 2022 when there were 282 posts.
It's the only most active community that has no separate board.

We are active in our thread and improving more.
Still waiting for the announcement from administration. And I am pretty sure that we will get our local board as soon as possible.
And many of us has wore the signatures and all of has changed their personal message and we are requesting for our local board.

We are very much active and need to remain active for coming weeks or may be months till the time we don't have our local board. Very recently Nigeria board is created and administrator may be looking to see what response that new local board is getting before creating new one. The Pakistani page also speaks itself as its very much active in recent months and so far in first 5 days of January we have decent activity there.

Imho, the main reason why those in charge are not so easy with creation of new local board is because many of them are now either semi-dead or dead (take a look at Japanese board whihc was the last created before Nigerians got their own) so they want to be sure (as much as possible) that the same thing won't happen with new ones too. Regarding moderators assignment, I don't think that's an issue as some other local boards don't have their own and function pretty good even without it.

Yes we are trying to improve the quality too. The new users are coming day by day and we have now much more active community and this month stats will show more better progress as previous. And we are still waiting the management, which will announce or even will explain the criteria to get local board. We hope and wait until we get.

I wouldn't count on getting a specific criteria to get a local board because I don't think that Nigerians got it either, and if you think about it its even better not to have it as it may get abused. The most important thing is to keep being active in both your local topic and your request to get one and eventually you will get your own local board. Just don't get disheartened if it doesn't happen in the next few months because as we noticed, this procedure may take some time.

I wouldn't count on getting a specific criteria to get a local board because I don't think that Nigerians got it either, and if you think about it its even better not to have it as it may get abused. The most important thing is to keep being active in both your local topic and your request to get one and eventually you will get your own local board. Just don't get disheartened if it doesn't happen in the next few months because as we noticed, this procedure may take some time.

Yes, we asked for the same thing out of curiosity, but we didn't get any response from theymos or any direct response from the staffs, so we kept going, ignoring some of the comments we received on our request thread, where some members told us that it was impossible because English is the official language of Nigerians and the Pidgin cannot be translated, making it difficult to moderate such a board. We eventually decided to lock our official local board request thread and stick to our single local thread. We received the local board when we least expected it. all the best Pakistan!!!!

Now our main focus is keeping our current thread active with more construction discussions and from time to time we post our updated stats here in this thread.

That's true local boards are hard to moderate but in the case of Urdu language it can easily be translated from Google and this translation is almost perfect, it's very advanced now. Google is really doing a great job in translating languages now. So I guess from the management perspective it should not be any different from managing any other language board like Arabic or Hindi for example.

Some local boards are functioning pretty good for years without having their own moderator who is a native speaker so that's not a problem at all. For example, Croatian local board had Lauda as mod but then for some reason he was either removed/he asked to be removed due some drama (I don't know the details as it was before my time) and we never got the new one. We asked for a new one but our request was never approved, probably because our local is very clean and we don't have much spam, therefore not much work for mods.

With that being said, of course it would be much better if each local has its own mod as I think mods could be more than just a forum police, but its possible to have decently organized and clean board even without it.

You're on the right track, but keep in mind that you might not get a YES or NO response from the admins. Just keep sending reminders, at least that's what theymos told us. You know there are too many requests, so those who keep sending reminders get approved faster, and most importantly, you should keep the board active.

We don't really need a moderator right now because we don't have a child board yet, but we would request one if our activity increased more than what we have now. For the time being, the patroller will clean up the board, and so far we have seen good results. The only thing we are currently lacking is a merit source

Monthly Analysis Report of Re: Pakistan Local Board (December)

Hi dear community, Asslam o Alikum so finally here is the complete monthly analysis of December the timestamp is the full and the total number of users' data is gathered manually so error might be possible. The rest of the datasets are optimized. In my point of view the month of December was good stats are a bit improved.

Merits Shared

Merits were shared in December, i am pretty impressed as our community is growing so that is obvious our merit numbers are stable above 200 and I think this is a good number hopeful to increase the post quality in January. For these amazing merit stats, i think my community should be thankful to the legend Shahzadafzal. His contributions are amazing to us and i am hopeful to see Themepen, Watche, Myself + Umeridrees to be in the top contributor's list. For January due to a shortage of time, i didn't compile the top 10 contributors.  

Total Posts

From the total number of posts i am a little bit unsatisfied as i was expecting above 350 total posts still 300+ is not a bad number and i am hopeful as our community is now active so we can directly touch 400+ InshaAllah. Thempen and UmerIdrees on fire both are the best posters of December and i am hopeful that now everyone is going to compete for the 1st and 2nd spots as i will try to bring some random prize in trx for top 3 posters.

Ohh this is our week spot so for fixing this every user who joins as a new community member and does 15+ posts 10 TRX to random 3 users its up to my decision. Still, we are a bit improved from the numbers but we are stuck between 26 to 34 these numbers should grow 50+ in the next 3 months.

The top 10 are here as already mentioned Themepen & Umeridrees are OP and others are also doing good for those who are below 10 to try to be active. Already mentioned the random TRX amount prize for the top 3. So I think it will bring some heat into positions.

It's been a couple of weeks since this topic started, did you really expect to get it done so fast? We waited for months to get a couple of child boards added  so don't expect to get local board request approved in the matter of weeks. Its just the way things work around here.

Its been already explained to you that you shouldn't expect from forum staff to share you criteria needed, based on previous experience (Nigerians didn't get any feedback on that matter either). Focus on your own local topic and when they think that you are ready, you will get your own local board.

Forum Administrators know what's best for the forum and when to introduce the new boards.

We are waiting with patience for the last many months and will surely keep waiting. One thing I believe is that we will get our local board one day and this hope will never diminish, no matter how long we have to wait.
