I am very convinced that Brazil aren't going to win the world Cup, what you should be saying if they would or could manage to reach the quarter finals, or semi finals at most, not wishing them any bad luck but Brazil won't make it to the finals not to talk of or even imagine them winning the world Cup.

And the World Cup started not long ago, and we can not conclude that Brazil is going to win the World Cup, and it's going to be very hard to just determine that now. Let's keep watching and see who is going to win at the end of the day, and the World Cup started not long ago, and from the way, its going i dont think anyone that is going to win has come to my mind yet. There is still a long way to go, but we are going to be observing, and the strongest will win.

As for their performance against Morocco, well, I would say that it's just the starting of the world Cup tournament and most national teams playing are still just warming up, they haven't stepped on their high gear yet, maybe soon when the game will hit and some nationals teams start packing their bags back their country, every national team playing in this world Cup will start putting in their best to win their games.

Spain looks very aggressive, but I don't see any effectiveness in it. The second half has started and they have tried to attack several times in a very short time, but none of them have hit the target. If this continues, Spain may lose points in the first match. Nothing can be said yet, but this young team may end the match with a draw. The main reason for this is that they have wasted clear chances repeatedly.

It is really disappointing to see that Spain, despite having the ball possession throughout the match, which they always do, failed to score a goal. Cabo Verde playing their first ever World Cup match and sharing a point against the tournament favorites is mind boggling.

I won't say that Cabo Verde is playing great or has built a great defense. Rather, Spain's random shots have kept Spain goalless. Even without Lamine Yamal, their attack line seems completely disorganized. In his absence, I feel the lack of great assists.

Full credits to their goalkeeper, Vozinha, who saved many shots and proved that age is just a number. Their defense was good, not letting Spain to get space was incredible. A really disappointing performance by Spain and many might have lost their bets.

I know that mistakes happens but Ferran Torres seems to regularly miss clear cut chances where it is easier to succeed than to miss, another question is that what is The Spanish team without Lamine Yamal, this is Cabo Verde and this is there first time in the world cup and Spain hasn't yet scored a goal.
The second half will be very different as the Cabo Verde players would be very tired and they have to bring in some of there reserve team who are obviously not on the same level with the starting squad.

Ferran Torres now has a good opportunity to impress coach Hansi Flick and probably restore the confidence of the coach towards his direction, the Spanish striker isn't regarded as favourite to lead Barcelona's attacking line as a result of his inconsistencies which was why Flick preferred Robert Lewandowski over him, but it is possible that the striker might use this world cup to prove his critics wrong about his goal scoring abilities.

Egypt has won the AFCON a record of 7x and they planned to use that same jersey but FIFA has told them they are not a world champion and cannot use such jersey on the tournament. I quickly adjusted my pick for the World Cup winner from Spain to Cape Verde. They defended well, it can't be said they didn't do what they had to do and it was well done. Spain was so terrible that I don't think this could ever beat the other favourites in the later stages. France would be their dead at the latest.

This can be interpreted in different ways, I think everyone understands that Egypt has never won the World Cup, but they are multiple time champions in their region, so I don't think the number of stars on their shirt would be such a major issue that it could somehow affect their performances at the World Cup. Draw in this match is an achievement for Cape Verde, they are happy because they managed to withstand all the attacks made by Spain, making their chances of getting into one of the best third places bigger. I think you're misinterpreting what Arsenal did in the Champions League final compared to what Cape Verde did. Arsenal didn't have to do that, but Cape Verde had to because of the vast difference in quality.

Yes, of course, no one expected the match between Spain and Cape Verde to end in a goalless draw, as Spain was heavily favored in this match. To be honest, I also bet on Spain, but the result was completely beyond my expectations and left me frustrated while watching the match.

Spain did what they always do, they controlled possession and passed the ball around with precision  . Cape Verde had too much to rest and defending deeply when Spain plan for the attack which will take some time. They had a great defensive game plan and whenever Spain managed to break through the defense, their goalie was handling the rest.

But Spain did not spare any effort in scoring goals. Remember yesterday's match with Germany? They took 26 shots and 11 shots on target in the entire match and scored a total of 7 goals, whereas in today's match with Spain they had a total of 23 shots and 8 shots on target, but the goal was 0-0, they attacked so much with all their efforts, but the wall that Cabo Verde built, Spain could not break down, and that is disappointing. We expected that no matter how strong Cabo Verde is, they are not as strong as Spain, so Spain will win the match anyway, but when the match ended in a 0-0 draw, many people find it difficult to accept. Spain was considered the  most stable squad in this world cup. But their weakness  was quite obvious in the first match. Cabe verde is not attacking much. So Spain's defenders are not under much pressure today. But Spain's attacking players are not able to break verde's defense in any way.

The match is  still goalless at 70 minutes. Spain is  still continuing their attack. Spain will try to win until the last second of the match. Cabe verde is very tactical. So Spain's players are not able to find the  weakness in Verde's defense.

Spain was a hot favourite before this game, but they were held to a goalless draw by 67th-ranked team Cape Verde. LOL, what a waste of money. I mean the problem is, nobody really knows about Cape verde, and especially in a first game basically anything is possible. If the 0:0 is holding up a long time the favorite obviously gets more and more nervous. Also pressure of course plays a big role. Spain has all the pressure in the world cause nothing else but a high win is expected from them, total opposite for CV.
Great to see the first real upset, even when it's not a loss but at least a loss of points.

Apart from my idea teams to win the FIFA world cup which is Portugal or France I don't think anyone has really showcase the ability to win it, and again I think it's still too early to write of the Brasil team, because last world cup Argentina that won it actually lost their first game to Iran which was unbelievable, so Brasil drawing with Morocco is not big deal to me after all the Moroccan team is not a weak team either, remember they are the ones that knocked out Portugal, which was totally out of the picture as at then, so let's not be too quick to conclude, at least the game is just started.
