Well, that's great - right? This Arabian country was not very open to change and they have very different outlook towards women and other way of living. If they are being penetrated with other cultures, I guess, their approach to their beliefs will slowly change for the better. At least, for the benefits of their women, in particular. I didn't know that they want to host the World Cup in summer. I am not impressed by decisions like that. I get why it would demand more organization for the whole tournament and it would require planning on part of the FIFA and UEFA and all other associations to allow for the cup to take place in winter. But in summer it is again such a waste of money to build this massive infrastructure with all this cooling required and so on and so forth. But I guess those who have the money make the rules.

I don't think if it's confirmed yet that Saudi Arabia is hosting the World Cup yet. Because we know there is Saudi Arabia there is not in a good eather situation and they are far from some European countries also we didn't have good times when one Asian country hosted the World Cup because they spent too much money and human resources on it to get the god result they wanted to get.

The investment the Saudi's are putting into sports recently is really worth giving attention because at some point I begin to feel like it's a strategy to get their economy positioned on the world platform in a different way back usually they have a stade on the world economy with their petroleum products but then with sports they are yet to get that fame so they are buying this big players to get the attention shift.

Yeah, it is a bit early but at least CONMEBOL and many other qualifiers have started already.    There is still time for the European qualifiers to start though.



I have been trying to catch up with CONMEBOL qualifiers lately for a reason. It is Brazil's current condition. They have been able to collect only 7 points in 6 matches. This is worrying. There are still 12 more matches of course. However if they go on like this they could even risk their qualification for the main competition.

The new manager is Dorival Júnior and we have only watched 2 friendlies with him. I don't want to state my opinion before watching them in an official competition, but I hope he saves the team from this bad look.

Saudi Arabia atmosphere and culture vey difference such as usually for European players or their family, but I don't think its an acceptable reason behind Cristiano Ronaldo and some top or European players adapt well how difference culture in Saudi Arabia and Ronaldo have been three season there without any problem yet.
I think Lionel Messi accepted MLS League team offer behind more interested offering than Saudi Arabia club and he won't get more compete with Cristiano Ronaldo behind both players still be more excited rivalry right now. Keep respect between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo decision although playing with difference competition but has good rumor with Inter Miami owner David Bekham has dreaming to sign Ronaldo and joining Inter Miami after his contract over.

Ronaldo doesn't have any issues with staying in Saudi Arabia, but his girlfriend may not be that happy. Saudi laws are more restrictive towards the females. But a lot has changed over the years, ever since Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud came to power. He has envisioned Saudi Arabia transitioning to a modern society, compatible with Islamic values. Movie theatres and shopping malls are opening all over the country. Also the crown price wants to transform Saudi Arabia to a global sports hub.

I read about this, they are very interested in being a powerhouse in football and are investing heavily in this, and there are several famous players competing in the Saudi league, I think this is very good, the more competitive leagues the better for us who like football .

Usually, whenever a country hosts the World Cup they will earn too much money this is enough for any country to try to be the end host of the World Cup. That's why Saudi Arabia is trying hard for it. They saw Qatar hosted the World Cup and this made them even more interested than before in hosting the World Cup.
They tried to do that by attracting too much attention to their country. They hired Ronaldo and some other superstar players like Neymar and Benzema, this is an investment for Saudi Arabia to earn more if they host the next World Cup. even in the 2026 World Cup, they wanted to try hosting this tournament.
