The sixth place is harder, I don't 'believe' in Venezuela even when they are in third place right now, I think the most likely sixth team will be Peru

Mannnn, the Conmebol qualifier its never been so easy for the big teams, they have now more places than ever, and some teams like Bolivia are pure shit and are gonna be in the bottom as ussual, so obviusly the national teams you mention are gonna be in the World Cup. It was more fun before with only 5 teams getting the ticket.

Regarding CONMEBOL, I think the gap between teams like Argentina and Brazil to really huge, and this can show all other teams in this federation are not at the same level as teams like Argentina and Brazil. However this time brazil was not not performing well enough.
 

Well, yes and no, because in the past was even worst i think, in the 1980 for example Colombia was a meme national team and now is a very strong national team, Venezuela until 2010 was also like a meme and now, they lose but they can fight in the matchs, so is a big improvement, this goes also for a few others, the only one who doesnt improve was Bolivia.

Argentina is definitely qualify for the world cup, so far their performance has is really good and shows their readiness for the world cup, it will be out of place if they fail to qualify for the world cup as the defending champions of the title but I doubt if they will be able to keep the cup, it's most likely by the end of the world cup a new champion may emerge as other countries are really bracing up to winning the world especially the major host (the united states).

The damage still isn't too big for Brazil to get it repaired in the next couple of games, but I am sure that the team now understood that this is not like a holiday trip for them to travel across South America and win the full three points every game. I thought that their standing in the table would be much better than it is after six games, but I think it is more the trend that is concerning than the trust that they are strong enough to qualify. @Leviathan. 007 Brazil should be careful not to repeat the mistakes of Italy otherwise in coming year’s they’ll be absent from the World Cup and personally I never got over the news of Italy missing out hence can’t see a World Cup without Brazil ever. Furthermore the gap exists because Brazil player’s play in important leagues and if other countries want to close the gap they need to try and get their player’s to play in big leagues to gain much needed exposure.

There is only a remote chance that Brazil will miss qualification. Because from this time onwards CONMEBOL is being allotted a total of 6.5 spots in the world cup. So out of 10 teams participating in the qualifiers, 6 will get direct qualification based on their standing in points table, while the 7th ranked team need to take part in Inter-confederation play-offs. At this point, Brazil is at 6th position. And I am sure that they will improve their position once the tournament restarts by September 2024. But there is no room for complacency. All of the participating teams are very strong in CONMEBOL.

But we expect a lot better performance from a team like Brazil right? So maybe even though they somehow achieve what they want to do, which is qualifying if they do not do it convincingly, probably they are not performing as they should. And I think that in itself is a problem. Maybe they are performing well enough. But the question is how good as well enough? They definitely have lost matches that they shouldn't have. Qualifying for any competition should not be a problem for a club like Brazil. But right now that is exactly what has been happening.

FIFA has "capricious" the number of places for teams that will qualify for the World Cup and I also doubt that Brazil will be left out of them, but it is undeniable to say that Brazil is in one of its worst moments....
After losing to Colombia and Argentina, Brazil fell to 5th place in the FIFA rankings, was overtaken by England and Belgium and reached its lowest position since August 2016.

I hope that under the command of a new coach in the next stage of the qualifiers, Brazil can recover these points and start playing well again and not just "qualify".

The tactics are really not working right now.  So either they change the tactics or the brain in someone new who can actually bring in better results with newer and improved tactics. We all know that they are expected to bring in Anchelloti as the new coach of Brazil pretty soon. I hope Ancelotti really takes up his managerial job in charge of the Brazilian national team, of course by waiting for his contract to expire with Real Madrid. In terms of experience at club level, I am quite sure that Don Carlo can improve Brazil performance, but we have not seen him manage any National Team in his career, this will be an interesting experience for him, and maybe after that he will decide to retire from coaching.

On the other hand, leaving Madrid was a mistake, he could achieve success in every competition, but as I said earlier, Ancelotti needed something new, yes a new challenge at a different level.
