A great start for Portugal, and I don't think Armenia was a worthy opponent. Ronaldo managed to score two goals, which I think will make this big win a trending topic for the next few days. Indeed Portugal had a good game today, there converting, dominating and possessive football deserves to be praised in today's game. Yes, this is true, the English team isn’t getting impressive wins In this moment ever since the new manager Thomas Tuchel took over and perhaps I think that the reason is because they now have a new manager who is trying to bring his own idea to the team and since it’s new the players are also still trying to adapt to the playing style which is new to them. I don’t think that Thomas Tuchel at the moment have been able to identify all his regular starting 11 maybe just few he’s truly convinced about. But the truth is once this team has been able to master the idea of the new style and implement it, I’m sure they will be winning convincing games easily. The timing of the appointment is right as the World Cup looms, so the team have to be able to master their game plan so they can deliver their mandate of winning the next FIFA World Cup 2026.

The precise, the strength and the finishing. He is 40 but he is not looking it. I'm sure he would not retire until he has made it a thousand goals. I would say, would be hard for Portugal team to find another "Ronaldo" in the making. He will be a legend on this sports later on. So they should be eyeing someone to replace his throne. Otherwise, their country would have hard time repeating the same fame without him.

Yes, yesterday I really liked Italy's lineup. Once again, I have to change my mind about Gattuso. I never thought he could create such a cohesive group.
This certainly underlines the fact that Spalletti didn't understand much during his time as Italy coach.

Gattuso should be given time to build this Italian team and take it back to the glory days of Italian football but for now Gattuso main aim should be trying to qualify Italy to the world cup in the United States of America next year.

In my opinion Gattuso doesn't really have to "build the team" because we know who the players are, what he's probably trying to do is to make them understand that they represent Italy and they must give 110%. Armenia team that is far behind in the ranking, could not put up much resistance despite the match being played at home. Portugal, who are ranked sixth in the FIFA ranking, played brilliantly as usual. Portugal could be winning with 7 - 10 goals. The problem is that they have missed half a dozen big chances during the second half. This happens just after Ronaldo gets subbed off. Their squad very lack of prop finishing, and i think this is squad's only problem.
Apart from that, they looked good overall. They much more scary and balanced. The most important thing is that Ronaldo gave huge mental boosting to this club. He shall never be dropped from this team, though he's 40 years old.

I liked Gattuso's style; they played an attacking game and scored five goals. The team really needed this; now all the players are highly motivated and will strive to improve their quality of play. This win was very good for them. I normally don't like to see so many goals scored in international matches, and I feel sorry for the team that lost, but this match was a bit different. Ronaldo is not even looking like he is thinking about retiring from football any time soon the dude is still very strong and the strength in his foot is amazing that's why he can have an amazing performance any time he plays the beautiful game of football which is his greatest passion, against Armenia he was unstoppable which means he still has some strength in him but being very active in the next five years will not be possible because at 45 years it will be risky to play him because he will no longer be as strong as we are seeing him now.

I think it's the passion of Cristiano Ronaldo for football that has been carrying him all along that he has to play not like someone at 40 but even with performance that certain players in their prime are yet to match. And he has scored 941 career goals with that 2 goals he registered yesterday against Armenia in their 5:0 win. Some people doubt he can be able to reach his 1000 goals target considering the age but with how I see him play it's looking possible and for the records he will be playing in the world cup next year so there are more goals to be expected from him.

Of course but we all know how the media and some people are, after the win and his goals I was expecting certain persons to say one thing or the negative about Ronaldo and they didn't disappoint me either. When I entered online and saw comments, I wasn't surprised because I already knew what I was going to see from some sets of people. What was even more surprising was Ronaldo's shot from 32 meters, his second goal against Armenia in the match. I also think Armenia wasn't a worthy opponent for Portugal, but the Portuguese players' performances in the match certainly caught the public's attention because Ronaldo and Felix really made the match more exciting. The victory also made Ronaldo even happier, as he added another goal to his career, bringing him closer to 1,000 goals in his career.
