Last I read on X (formerly twitter) is that some organizations or journalists are beginning to ask some serious questions about the safety of this World Cup taking place in the US, Many are of the opinion that this Donald Trump second tenure is getting more involved into wars which he shouldn’t be getting into and some of the sanctions that they have placed are on countries that could potentially be at the world. So the question is those countries which have been banned from coming into America what happens to not just the players but the supporters also, are they going to be allowed in too for the tournament to support their nations and if yes hope their movement wouldn’t be restricted to certain level and what is their confidence in their security.

All this questions are genuinely good questions that could make the FIFA officials actually reconsider a decision because of the ever increasing wars in American but I don’t think with the way this current FIFA officials are romancing this trump administration, I don’t ever think they have the balls to actually take any action

You won't expect the officials to change decisions this year the begining of the tournament, plans and preparations are almost ready, switching positions would mean shifting the time frame for the competition, USA isn't in a chaos that attacks them directly, they're mostly involved on matters that has to do with other countries - territory ownership as with Greenland. Trump would ensure adequate security during this world cup, also, as for the banned nations, I don't see anything stopping them from coming to the USA, the only restrictions would be that they'll have to leave the country immediately their team is out of the tournament.

I even see the possibility of facing this complication for the players. Especially with Trump's war policy, the security of this World Cup is already in doubt. It would not be surprising if the fans don't get too excited on the field, maybe FIFA won't dare to talk to the Trump team about this.

I don’t think any footballer will be able to build the legacy that Ronaldo and Messi has built. These two players are legend that has made history when it comes to football they will remain legends and what they have done can never be done by anyone anymore. Imagine the numbers of goals Ronaldo has scored. Do you think anyone can pass that numbers of goals I really don’t think so. These two players are still very strong even with their age and they are still playing very well. They should continue doing what they are doing. The United States should host more of these events IMO. Apart from being the largest economy in the world, the US also hosts diasporas from most of the world's independent countries and dependent territories. If Qatar can host the 2022 event, then why not the US? I understand that there are still issues related to Visa and travel, but the American authorities will resolve them well before the start of the tournament. And we are all excited for this edition, as this is the first time that the tournament is allowing 48 participants. There will be a lot more representation from Asia and Africa in this edition.

Good comment on what a team spirit should feel like in a team, sometimes the fact that certain set of players are exceptionally brilliant does makes them look like the whole team is dependent on them to a far extent, but the truth retains that at a point the team will do without them and still do well, after all it is supposed to be a team game and not a game for an athlete.

I agree with you that Ronaldo and Messi are legends and superstars who will be remembered for years. It will be very difficult to surpass their charisma and impact on football. However, the fact is that they are old and their football careers are nearing the end. No one here is saying that they shouldn't participate in the upcoming World Cup, but the coaches of their teams need to make sure that the currently best and most prepared players always play, regardless of a player's reputation. If a player were to play just because of their name and past reputation, rather than current form and readiness, it would not help the team.
I think Ronaldo's and Messi's roles in this World Cup will be limited, because it's hard to expect them to play every match (or the entire game) in the World Cup.

I remember well with latest edition at World Cup 2022 Qatar a lot of controversial exactly from top Europe former players not happy for appointing Qatar as the host, but when the world cup match playing well not any controversial or something bad happened. Some time many top teams not really happy if appoint the host from not popular country like South Africa at 2010 and Brazil edition 2014.

However when becoming the host so far all edition not any bad controversial happened and must appreciate the host country prepare well for the World Cup, for world cup edition 2026 I think has many crucial happening how the US president not giving access for all fans come from the specific teams already qualified to World Cup. Frankolala You are correct in other for a team to win trophy in any competition they need to be united because if they are not united, they cannot support each other and they cannot play a team football if you check those clubs or team that are playing in unity you will see their kind of football is totally different on from those who are not United those that are united pass ball to each other and they don’t play greedy ball they pass the ball to the person that is more convenient to score a goal however, a team that is not united they will never pass to you as long as they don’t like you even though you are in a convenient position to score the goal. So unity is very important in football because without it a team cannot win any trophy.

Everyone wants to host the World Cup, and there must be a reason. This event moves a lot of money, honestly.
So everyone wants to take advantage and create a spin-off for their country.
