The FiFA world cup is my favourite competition because it makes me happy when I see stars from various countries across the world competition for a single trophy. I can't wait for it to start as I can't wait any longer. I want to enjoy the fun of watching countries displaying their professionalism in football. The most interesting parts of this competition is that countries we have in minds don't win the trophy. As long as tourists attending the World Cup show their tickets to authorities, there won't be any issues. American security will undoubtedly be professional and not interfere with fans attending the stadium to watch their country compete. Therefore, the World Cup will proceed peacefully and successfully as scheduled.

I think that many people had a hope that they would get a US visa easily because of the FIFA World Cup 2026 but seeing what's happening in the USA, I think that many people won't go there because they'll be detained by ICE. Canada sounds the best out of these three but I bet the final will be in the USA.

Now as days are running out, everyone is looking on how things are going inside and outside the USA because after arrival in President House for second tenure, Donald Trump is creating serious chaos, this is going to be having serious impact on them as well in long run, even he is having own agenda for making USA great again, but their actions are not as they have to be well-prepared before doing.

75 countries are banned with many those are having teams in this event also facing problems even this is not going to have any impact on this event because still USA domestic population is enough for having their best enjoyment and going to watch games in stadium, but they need to be doing something good for other country people those are able to go for watching games and support their countries.

Fans will probably not have problems with ICE but with border services (immigration officers) at the airports.
They will have to prove financial capacity, personal itinerary, accommodation, etc. If they fail to prove this, they will not be allowed to enter the US, even if they have tickets for the matches.
Another big problem for all fans will be the astronomical prices of football tickets, huge accommodation costs, travel costs, etc.
This will certainly be the most expensive football World Cup ever and the average fan will have a hard time raising the necessary finances to attend and watch the matches in person.

That was the case with the 2022 edition as well, which was hosted by Qatar. And regarding the high cost of tickets, we need to remember one thing. The FIFA World Cup is the largest sporting event in the world. And it happens only once every four years. For FIFA and it's 211 member associations, the vast majority of their funding comes from this event. So I will not blame the FIFA for pricing the tickets competitively. And for travel costs and accommodation expenses, there is not much the hosts can do. If you enter the US through a legal route, there is no reason for ICE to arrest you because you have complete documents and permission from the authorized immigration authorities, so your legal status is clear and protected by law. ICE will only arrest people suspected of entering the US through illegal routes that violate immigration regulations. If you do not break any laws, then you are free to enjoy the World Cup.

So, whether you like it or not, you need to arrange your visa if you want to enter the US without any problems. Although it is more complicated compared to Canada, this cannot be compromised.

What you are saying doesn't make any sense. So you think that ICE will randomly arrest anyone in the street or around the stadium when they know that the world cup is going on and fans of different countries will be in their country to support their national teams. If you go to the US legally for the world cup why will you be detained? There's definitely going to be documents that will indicate that you came to the country for the world cup. Everything you said here are all lies. The US will be safe for the world cup and their traveling fans. Saying that ICE don't care if you are there to watch football or not is a false information you are spreading, and it's not healthy for the community.

I am pretty sure they will be ordered to stand down during that period without a doubt. Due to aggressive policies from Donald Trump, especially regarding Greenland, there is too much chaos around USA on hosting FIFA World Cup and then Olympics 2028 in Los Angles, I am sure that no country is going to boycott because now things are on their best level and having boycott can bring serious damage to sports.

I don't think such a scenario is likely.
There was a lot more talk about boycotting before the 1978 World Cup in Argentina, because of the military dictatorship in Argentina at the time, but in the end, no one boycotted that World Cup, everyone came and played.
I think that the political tensions between Europe and the USA are not yet at such a level that anyone would think about boycotting the competition.
True, in the past we have had examples of collective boycotts of major sports competitions, the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, USSR, and 1984 in Los Angeles, USA, but those were different times, the era of the "cold war" and political tensions between the democratic and communist blocs at that time.
I don't see anything similar happening today.

That's what makes the World Cup always exciting to watch. The World Cup is a competition between countries, and this is what sets it apart from club competitions. Besides seeing all the superstar players on the same stage, the sense of nationalism that comes from carrying the country's flag is also why the World Cup is always so exciting, both on and off the pitch. I think this will be Messi and Ronaldo's last World Cup. It would be truly memorable if CR7 managed to win the World Cup trophy at the end of his career. This would make the debate about the two GOATs eternal. And I think Portugal is on the list of teams with a great chance of winning the World Cup. Their current generation is quite good, and I think they are one of the best Portuguese teams in recent decades.

I also think there won't be any problems, as you say they are tourists and I don't think there are any problems for them going to see their national team's match in a foreign country.

I are shocked all over the world by what's being reported on social media, but if I think about the behavior, I don't understand what the reason might be, you say fun?
What would be the fun part? Handcuffing people? I really think everyone tells their own story, but only those who experience that situation know reality.

In my opinion, it was a huge mistake to choose the US to host the World Cup knowing that Trump would be in charge. Look, I'm in favor of freedom, but Trump is exaggerating everything. The way he's been handling foreign policy is frightening.

He wants to impose high tariffs on European countries that oppose the annexation of Greenland, which will only lead to a trade war. He's created visa obstacles for many countries even knowing that the US will host the World Cup. It seems like he doesn't care much about the World Cup and doesn't seem to care about the US either.

The world isn't satisfied with Trump's actions. And it goes much beyond lefted minded federations and individuals. Trump has crossed the line, like leftist dictatorships are used to do. He is threating allied nations, and that never sounds good. He has no honor, values or principles. It's all about power, money and control. And when empires adopt that kind of pragmatic stance, the tendency is decadence and collapse.

We aren't in 2016 anymore, when it was all about left x right wing. Where leftists were the wicked mainstream system, and right wing represented the drainage of the crooked swamp. The world turned into gray since then. Promises were broken and the real character and intention of political actors were revealed.

The situation is more complex now and demands a more careful analysis, without political and ideological passion.
