I don't like American justice at all, the police and especially ICE are licensed thugs.
A policeman has a duty to maintain public safety, but before shooting an unarmed person he must try to stop them.
With a gun in our hands we are all very strong, but strength lies in managing the problem, not in sedating it with death.

I believe many will have made this reflection and will look at the cup from a screen, for fear of being involved in unpleasant situations.

Honestly i believe that this will not affect in the least what is due to them in America, it is clear that these guys are doing everything to organize a world championship free of acneh risks if we know that they will never be zero, but let's say that the sport will be a great party for everyone.

Well, i have no doubt that there is going to be a great patronage when it comes to selling of tickets that will enable fans go see the fifa world cup matches live in the stadium, and the reason is because humans being sometimes behave like ants, they see where their are being killed but many are still rushing and headed towards that same direction.

Not saying this to discourage anyone with means from going to look at the games live but for me, if I had the means, I will rather sit at home and watch the games live on my large screen, it's basically comes with the same excitement as being in the stadium live, it's most special as well when you are home with couple of your friends and watching together, it's absolutely better than one going out there to risk their live on unworthy stuffs.

This is a MLB player, someone who lives and works in the USA and "sort of" famous, its a PLAYER, as in someone who literally is on TV every game. And yet, he was still detained by ICE and he was let go an hour later.


Now the "american mind" can't understand how that is wrong, because for the right wing of USA, "he was let go an hour later, whats the big deal" is the response.

 However, this also proves that, not only fans of the nations that will be in the world cup are in danger of being detained and have to provide proof that they are not illegally there, but it also shows that EVEN THE PLAYERS ARE NOT SAFE.

 And if anything goes wrong, if ICE makes ANY mistake, the response will be "it wasn't that big of a deal". Of course its a big deal, but since they live in an underdeveloped nation, they can't really understand it.

The explanation is extremely simple: they simply racially profile people, that's it. It's mainly Latino people but after them it's the Asians so, unfortunately, I'm not even surprised. The problem is that they must reach a certain amount of arrests per day, so they do the same as trawl fishing: before they arrest a bunch of random people and only after they check who they are. Usually it's supposed to be the other way around...

Despite having too many problems and chaos due to USA policies after arrival of Trump, FIFA trying its best keeping things on good level because this event is happening after 4 years and have too much love and respect around the world for the tolerance and love of sport.

European countries are going to be divided about few things but most chances things will be okay before start of event and all counties will be gone ahead as plan discount in ticket prices and also have some good facilities for the countries those are having teams surely bring some relief for them still too much fear about ICE which is mostly due to social media, hopefully authorities will also fix this as soon as possible.

I mean last one was in Qatar, so I am pretty sure FIFA doesn't give a damn about the fans lol. Regarding several top media the Germany government want to boycott World Cup participants after US president Donald Trump threats against Greenland is the island of Denmark and right now still has conflict with Donald Trump. Around five months later for World Cup 2026 kick off we found man controversial happening nowadays from US president arresting Venezuela president, conflict with Greenland and most controversial decision by Donald Trump for banning several African countries come to US for watching world cup match.

Doing boycott is showing how dumb Germany is. Let's say if they hate to play in WC at US caused by trump. So they can ask Fifa to play at Mexico or Canada. It will solve their problem without doing a useless drama caused by they were anti-trump.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia was the main cause of global isolation of that country. Russia hosted the World Cup in 2018, when they are still friendly to Western nations. So it's normal for Germany to support the bid to host the WC.

Nations shouldn't boycott the competition because of Trump's policies. Seeking a change of match venue to other host nations is a good option. This change might affect the planning of the competition but it will be a better choice than losing some top football nations.

What Americans do not really comprehend is that, cops do not kill people in other developed civilized nations, and if they ever do, we do not justify it neither, you would have to have a gun pointed at someone before they even think about it, and even then they would try to convince you to drop your weapon. So believe me, the threshold for getting killed in USA by a cop is a lot higher (and I mean at a level you wouldn't even understand) than anywhere else in the world.

So certainly I would not trust "having documents", because I can go to any other nation, have my passport on me, and not worry about getting detained, I have travelled and I have never been in danger of getting locked up in any other nation like USA, why would we want to go to some third world nation that poses as world leader? I will thankfully watch at home, and will go to world cup when it's at a better nation.

Indeed, each country has its own way of dealing with law and police, and this significantly changes the experience of traveling or living there. At the same time, I think it depends a lot on the city, the situation, and even the type of interaction with the police—you can't generalize 100%, can you?

If we want to talk about  the security I am more than sure The US will be able to manage whatever situation it is that will arise in that direction, even before the arrival of great for the competition, they will obviously be putting in place the measures that will ensures there security and that of the fans and all the guest they will be having for the competition

There are billions of football fans around the world. If possible, most of them would like to attend the matches in stadium. But it is not possible, as even the largest stadium can accommodate only 150,000 people. That is around 1/20,000 of the football fans. And FIFA also need to make maximum profit from this event, as they need to distribute funds to their member associations for the next 4 years. So it is only natural that a lot of complaints will be made by those fans, who are not able to attend the world cup in person. But these people should try to understand the situation, and divert their attention to other tournaments such as the Copa América and the FIFA Club World Cup.

If it was somewhere else, I would want to go too, who wouldn't want to go to the games and watch it on the place, specially if my nation is there, then I would love to watch every game on the stadium. However, if that requires me to go to a nation where cops are killing people on the streets, then I would rather watch it at home on TV as well.

Even Qatar was safer by standards, nothing was happening to Europeans there, there were some questionable situations to be fair which is why I did not go, so I would say that was pretty bad too, but I never feared that cops would be going around the nation killing innocent people. So yeah, USA is a no go for me, I rather be at home. I will go back to world cup, when it's in Europe again.

I think that there is nothing more exciting to see players like that live, I think that once in a lifetime any person there must do and try this experience is something that gives you a unique emotion and this makes me more than happy, I hope that everyone can experience this emotion.

Sepp Blatter make a statements, fans shouldn't going to US for watching world cup matches there. in the news, mentioned about security concern but I don't know the detail yet. if this statements just because of politics, of course, US must be banned from this event, just like Russia when started invasion to Ukraine. what do you think?

it is something that often happens in such large sports event; i also understand that people need money if they manage to earn money from this they also manage to make sure that everything can be resold, in every area it is like this and so this thing does not surprise me.

Of course, i don't think that those who go to see a football match beyond the world of their country of origin can complain economically because they are still facing an expense that can be huge, and i don't manage these companies and institutions, but those who go if they can safely allow!

Besides being foolish, it would also be detrimental in the long run for Germany to boycott the World Cup. The German Football Federation should not mix football and politics, as they are two separate issues. The US is politically in turmoil due to Trump's policies, but security at the World Cup will remain intact. Suppose FIFA grants Germany's request to play in Mexico or Canada, but what if Germany qualifies for the final, given that the final will be played in the US? Would Germany want to play in the US? Germany shouldn't need to worry about security issues in the US, as the World Cup organizers will ensure the comfort of players and spectators at the World Cup.
