I heard same too that people are reselling tickets to another there by making more money from the sell and FIFA is allowing that to happen it’s very bad because it will make the ticket very costly and someone can just decide to buy many tickets and then start selling it huge amount of money there by making those that bought it late to pay higher amount for it. I heard all ticket has been sold out and this now make sense now to be honest those that bought all those tickets very fast are the once selling it back to people in bigger amount and because is World Cup people won’t have option but to buy.
FIFA is more concerned in the money they will make and forget that people are coming to watch live because they just want to support their country.

Maybe it's normal for you. Just because people do some things they are not supposed to and other people choose to accept them doesn't mean it's right. I can understand years and years ago when tickets didn't have names on it but now that everything is digital this things shouldn't be happening anymore. Stadium capacity is limited, and the demand is much more than the supply. And FIFA can't ask for ID documents at the entry gates, due to strict laws in the US. And I don't think that the situation will get any better during the 2030 edition (to be hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal). My only hope is that there will be some sort of mechanism to prevent reselling of tickets during the 2034 edition, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia.

In the past there was a lot of talk about personalizing the tickets and it was meant to be introduced for all international events like UCL, Europa League, Conference League but then of course also for the bigger events like the World Cup. I haven't attended any of these events in a very long time, but does anyone know whether they now introduced any sort of advanced technology to quickly identify the rightful owner of the ticket at the entrance?

As I said before, I don't think the US will be joking around at their stadiums. When you see what they are doing with their ICE agency now and how they treat suspects and people who are actually US citizens, they won't hesitate to take people into custody if there is the slightest of suspicion. Since this is in the US, I don't now if I would risk buying a ticket at 10x premium and then shortly before the game starts or the whole journy to the US begins, authorities issue a statement that they will rigorously check the identities of ticket owners. Maybe some will take the risk regardless and are ok losing that money, but I doubt this is appropriate for the average person.

BTW, we are still waiting for the last batch of two teams, who will qualify through the Inter-confederation play-offs. New Caledonia, Jamaica and DR Congo are placed in Bracket 1, while Bolivia, Suriname and Iraq are there in Pathway 2. Also, 4 more teams will qualify from UEFA second round. Most probable teams are Italy from Path A, Poland or Ukraine from Path B, Turkey from Path C and Denmark from Path D.

Imagine a line of for hundreds of people and you have to check each one's ticket and document, should you wait 1 or 2 hours before you can sit down?

To be honest, that sounds like made up bullshit to me, especially in this day and age when you usually can't do much without some form of verification.

I don't think there's a prohibition on requiring ID for verification. I'm not a US citizen, but I don't think just because the US has a high level of privacy concerns doesn't mean security officers can't request ID. The question is, will requiring ID for verification be efficient? Tens of thousands of people will be visiting the stadium, and I think it's quite difficult to do so because everyone will arrive at the same time. Perhaps digitization will be a solution. I expect there will be a digital verification measure, such as one account for one ticket, or only allowing purchases for family members based on data from ID cards/other required documents. While there's still room for fraud, this could significantly reduce the fraud rate.

Of course FIFA don't care because they are corrupted and they have political affiliations, but is not fair to let Russia play, they have been attacking another country for over 3 years. Of course they should ban Israel too, which is even a more disgusting situation since for ridiculous reasons Israel is part of UEFA, and Israel has nothing to do with Europe. we can call them by their proper name, that is, touts, people who buy and sell at higher prices is an unfair practice but many consider it a normal thing, so i don't know, it doesn't seem right to me, but as long as there are big events, it's normal to have this type of business as well.

FIFA has never been interested in anything, but you have to consider that there is a lot of money behind it and this is something that happens. i believe that the system is totally in the hands of those who have the most money. FIFA faced heavy criticism for only sanctioning Russia but not Israel. Perhaps because of this frequent criticism, FIFA lifted the ban on Russia. However, FIFA's lifting of the ban doesn't mean Russia will immediately participate in the World Cup, which is just a few months away. Russia will only be able to participate again in the World Cup in the next edition., and like European countries, it must begin with qualifying.

For me that is not even the main point: for some people it may be fair, for others it may be wrong, I think the main reason they do it is to avoid broader problems because let's say Russia qualified to the World Cup, it would be a complicate situation to manage not only for the players but for the fans too because there may be protests, clashes, and even injured/killed people. So I can understand that. What I don't understand is the different treatment depending on the country we are talking about. That is completely unfair.
