Recently, they posted the Brazilian national team's second jersey. In a dark blue tone. A totally new and modern design. What did you think of this new jersey and what do you think of the national team jerseys in general? Do you think they are differentiating themselves or is everything the same? I believe there could be record sales for the national teams going to the World Cup.

It was kind of boring to see them in the yellow/green jersey all the time. The new colors are a welcome change and it really looks good. But how often will they use this particular jersey during the 2026 FIFA World Cup? From what I heard, this will be their 2nd jersey (therefore not the first preference). In Group C, along with Brazil we have the following teams - Morocco, Haiti and Scotland. Does anyone know in which of the group phase matches the blue jersey will be used? Their first match will be against Morocco, at the MetLife Stadium in New York and that will take place on 13th June.

Morocco have a red jersey, Haiti have a blue jersey, and Scotland have a blue jersey: of course all these colors would clash with Brasil's second jersey because of the dark blue color, so I don't think they are going to play any game with that jersey, at least in the group stage. By logic they should always use the yellow jersey otherwise the other teams should use the second jersey too, and it wouldn't make any sense.

They should face a team with a very light colored jersey in order to use the blue one, like England for example.

I don't understand. Why can't they use the second jersey against Morocco? One team playing in red and the other in blue makes sense for me. I understand the case with Haiti and Scotland, as they also have blue coloured jerseys. BTW, it is going to be a tough group for Brazil. Remember that they struggled during the early rounds of the CONMEBOL qualifiers. At around mid-point, they were at the 6th position. Later they improved the standings and managed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup of 2026. And they are being placed in a difficult group this time. Morocco made it to the semis last time, while Scotland is also in good form.

The target of Trump is the military in Iran and if Iran is sending their National Team to the world cup, they will send their own security personnels for the trip. And if Trump notice that, things might not go well there again. So with all those calculations, Iran too will not allow his football team to go there. But they might go to the other hosting countries to play if FIFA arrange everything well for them. If all the Iran games will be played in the Canada and Mexico.

Send own their security? Its bad ideas if any national team have sent their own security so what the responsibility from FIFA and the host country protecting all teams participants and the fans travelling there. I can't believing what statement from Donald Trump recently about the Iran national team allow come to World Cup but he not guarantee about their security exactly all host of World Cup must giving more security for the player and official teams.

Because yellow against red has a better chromatic contrast than blue against red. I don't know what matches Brazil recently played against teams wearing a red jersey but I do remember that during France 1998 they played against Norway, and both teams were wearing their first jerseys as you can see in this image:


And usually national teams like to play with the first jersey, not the second like some clubs do for economical/sponsor reasons, no matter how nice the second jersey is.

Donald Trump is attracting a lot of antipathy, both inside and outside his nation.
I honestly don't understand this behavior, it seems very stupid to me given that there will be midterm elections soon.
It seems like political suicide to me, but I don't know. Then get involved in FIFA too, we're going crazy.

by logic and also by rule you use the shirt you have at home and whoever is at home has to manage it, the teams know well that there will be other teams that will have particular shirts and they will take care of it, clearly this is a moment where there are many new national teams with particular outfits and i think that this needs to be managed

Imagine a country withdraw themselves due to the ongoing conflict happened in their country. Yet, they potentially to be pinalized by FIFA if they are withdrawing themselves from World Cup 2026. If they really get a ban by FIFA after their country bombed. I have no word for FIFA other than "disgusting".
If it's happening, i'm sure this World Cup is gonna be absolute joke.

I understand FIFA rules forces team to play in the spot that they earned. However, it's kinda weird if FIFA keeps force them to play when their country is under serious conflict. At this point i think FIFA is only wanting to impose them fines. 

The President of the host nation has said that the security of the Iranian football national team and its officials is not guaranteed. FIFA wants these players to go and risk their lives in a nation that is an enemy. Can FIFA guarantee the security of these patriotic Iranians?  FIFA would prove that it is biased if Iran is sanctioned for withdrawing from the competition. If any country deserves a sanction, it should be the US for making it difficult for people to enjoy the World Cup.   

I believe FIFA can't guarantee their safety. The better to always expect the worst outcome to happen. I saw infanfino said Trump would welcome Iran's participation in WC, but it's totally opposite with how Trump was threatening Iran. So, it's best to put team's safety first instead of to follow their ego to participate in WC.
We always remember we always life once. So no reason to risking our life to play in the competition hosted by enemy. Who knows there might be a plan to kidnap Iran's football team.

Honestly, I haven't heard of this, but if this is true then it's absolutely crazy. How can the country appointed as host not guarantee security for the incoming national team? Even though they are hot, it should not be linked to the World Cup. Iran is the party that suffers the most in this case.

This is what we are worried about, how could everything go well if before starting we had heard narratives like this. The World Cup is a competition that is eagerly awaited, it would be very disappointing if it had to be harmed by their interests.

Iran is just avoiding the problems it might face in the US. The fans could be very hostile to the Iranian national team making them face difficulties during the games. Due to the death of several US soldiers in the US-Iran war, many US citizens might never want to see an Iranian team in the tournament. Some extremists might consider attacking these players. Since the US cannot guarantee security, it should boycott the event. The world cup that is organised to foster peace amongst nations now been politicised.
