This World Cup is very strange. Countries wanted to host the World Cup, but they didn't realize they had stricter laws compared to other countries, and yet they still wanted to host it. Now we constantly see news reports about player X being banned from entering country X or team X being subjected to embarrassing situations. I just read news that Ghanaian player Thomas Partey was denied a visa to enter Canada. It's going to be a World Cup with a lot of controversy; there's something controversial every day. I keep wondering what will come next.

What has been happening on and off the football field is impressive, many contrasts, many things that you see and that you can't believe, the African referee, the Mexico goals that were due to South African errors, the only match I liked was the one between China and South Korea, today there is another opening ceremony in the USA, I have a lot of faith in that USA game against Paraguay.

Canada is still playing well even though they are 0-1 down but based on their performance, various betting platforms are offering 1.5 Odds for Herzegovina despite being 1 goal ahead and only 2.6 Odds for Canada even though they are 0-1 down. Bosnia and Herzegovina is leading 1-0, if Canada can somehow score a goal then the match will be return to equalised, but that is what Canada is trying to do the whole time but it is not happening. There are about 30 minutes left in the match, in this time Canada must score a goal, otherwise they will lose the match 1-0 even though they are playing the match at home, which is definitely a disgrace for them.

Possession game is a good strategy but at the end of the match it's the team that scores the most goals that would be called the winner, if the match end with this current result Bosnia would win the game so Canada has to do better and try to equalize or turn the scoreline in their favour.

The match between USA vs Paraguay would be held very early in the morning in my countries time, i should be asleep by then so I'll miss it. From their recent meetings, USA has been the better side and it looks tempting to bet on them to win cause of that 2 odds the bookmakers gave them.

From what am seeing on my Tele, honestly Canada were only considered favourites because they are among the hosts otherwise this game doesn't look promising for them as Bosnia looks more of the dangerous team when they come Infront of goal, maybe too early to call but these are among the low scoring games am having on my watchlist.

I see that too, I think Bosnia is a little bit better than Canada, more athletic and very tall players. Jonathan David demonstrate the same problem he have in Juventus team, very boring, sleeping player without strike capacity, maybe is better for him and for the Canada national team that he play as a winger. The second half looked more interesting as Bosnia took a slightly different tack in the second half as they were more willing to attack and at the start of the second half Bosnia looked much more active which must have caused Canada some problems.

They were already a goal down but Bosnia increased the intensity of the game although Bosnia's possession did not look too good but their counter-attacks have been quite effective so far.
Canada are actually not too bad as their attacking on both sides as well as some crossing is not bad but Bosnia's defense is pretty good so far.

I think Paraguay also has talented and experienced players who can ensure they don't lose easily against the United States. The US certainly benefits from its status as host, but this is no reason to underestimate Paraguay's strength. Being the host doesn't always guarantee an advantage if the players' performance falls short of expectations.In fact, I never hope the US to advance to the next round of this World Cup at all. Some might assume that soccer in the United States has made rapid progress recently, but Paraguay possesses something that could make them the favorites to defeat the hosts.

A lot of controversies that if happened in any other country around the world, you can imagine the critics said by developed nations and especially FIFA. There will be sanctions for sure. But when it comes to USA, FIFA just became blind. Qatar World Cup was way better and even the older versions were way respectable.

i just checked, Ronaldo is 41 and Messi is 38. yeah this might be the last tournament for Ronaldo but i think Messi can make it to one more.

This will be their last World Cup. I am not debating about their fitness and they are taking good care of that. Glad we were able to witness their greatness in our lifetime. I have heard about legendary players like Johan Cruyff, Ferenc Puskás and Franz Beckenbauer, but I have never had the opportunity to view their performance live.

Ronaldo and Messi are the modern goats and it is a pleasure to watch them live.

In the end, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, I thought that maybe now with the great attacking play, one of the two teams would score another goal, but that didn't happen. Canada took many shots throughout the match, they tried hard to score, but they only managed to keep the match equal by scoring 1 goal in the 79th minute, but anyway, the match was drawn, but if Canada had lost the match, it would have really put them behind in terms of points, that is they have still 0 points while Bosnia and Herzegovina would have advanced to 3 points, and it would have put Canada in a lot of danger, now atleast they have 1 point.

Anyway, tomorrow is the USA vs Paraguay match in Group D, let's see which team can win there.

So the Canadian and Bosnia match just finished and I heard the commentator saying this is the first time Canada is getting a point in the World cup tournament, I means that's crazy but imagine having a record like that. Well I am actually glad they get to carry a point at home because imagine the memes if they continue their record of never having a point at the world cup.

Watching the match , I did notice the Canadian players were having difficulties having an on target shot or even passes, I think they struggled and the equalising goal was just their luck at their end.
