A well-deserved win by Korea. They had a little bit of a hard time converting their chances into goals, but they did just enough to win their first game. Czechia's main strategy was to focus on set pieces, they even scored another goal, but it was disallowed due to an offside.

Tho odds for the USA look way better than I expected. Does anyone know how good Paraguay is and what we can expect from them? I think the USA is a solid team and shouldn't have a problem in advancing from the group stage.

Morocco has shown over the last few years that they are no longer a team that should be underestimated. They reached the 2022 World Cup semi-finals and came into this tournament with strong results in their recent friendlies, including wins over Burundi and Madagascar and a draw against Norway. Brazil still has more attacking quality and midfield quality, but they cannot afford to underestimate Morocco because their teamwork and coordination is on a whole other level. I think this match will be decided by which team takes its chances better rather than by possession or individual talent. My predictions will be with Brazil 1 - nil or the match will end in a draw.

Both teams were disgusting, Canada were better than Bosnia but that was not an exciting world cup performance we have been waiting for, it was a bad game today, seems like Canada Group B consist weak of countries, the game wasn't enjoyable, only a few individual performance was captivating, but the entire team as a squad all played badly, it wasn't a satisfying game.

It's never possible to have all the teams in the tournament perform well as we expect. I think the game between these two was not a game we should expect some excitement from. I knew there wasn't going to be much goals but was too risky to be gambled on. Canada had a few goals scoring chances early in the game but failed to convert the chances and got punished by Bosnia but luckily they equalized in the second half. It wasn't an interesting game, only South Korea has impressed me so far in this Tournament. They played well and I believe when top countries start playing we will be entertained.

Before the Canada game started, I thought this would be a chance for Canada to win and at least have a chance to fight to advance from the group stage, but after the game I saw that it was just wishful thinking. Canada couldn't even beat today's opponent; they would have lost, but they were lucky to draw. So I expect to see them lose their remaining games and not make it past the group stage. I don't blame them; if they had followed the normal qualification process, they wouldn't have been able to get enough points on their own to qualify for the World Cup.

Here both teams showed their best performance, but they missed a lot of chances and the game turned into a draw. Canada team wanted to win by adopting a different strategy but Bosnia team's defense was very careful so they did not allow the goal easily. If we compare the performance of both teams then most of the attacks were easy for Bosnia team, Bosnia team will try to improve their performance more at the moment because they will have to change their strategy to win in the next match.

The only team that had a chance to win was the one that used counterattacks, but neither team was able to counterattack, so the game ended in a draw.

I wasn’t expecting anything more from Canada to be sincere because they are not that a great footballing nation to actually be expecting them to win or do anything. It’s like expecting Qatar to win their opening game in the last edition because they hosted the World Cup. This Bosnia side might not be the best European football country too but they are solid in the defense and this is the main reason why they are even at the World Cup finals it’s self.

Although the football world can make excuses for Canada that they could win their first ever World Cup game in their history with the way they play and the home advantage but let’s be realistic if a nation like Canada which lacks creativity is already down with a goal, it’s usually a difficult one most especially a strong defensive set up side like this Bosnia side, I even think they should take the positives from this game as it’s their first ever World Cup points ever earned. The remaining nations in group B is Qatar and Switzerland so both nations still have chances of qualifying

Bosnia playing a host nation played their cards right, it's almost like they were ready to settle for the draw because they never tried to attack to put Canada on their defense, instead they chose to be seating ducks 

All in all, Canada did show some goal threats but it all was poor finishing at the end of the day.. maybe results will get better for them as the competition progresses..

They will be leaders of their national team in this World Cup but in the first match, so far the USA team show very impressive performance with 3 - 0 in the first half against Paraguay.

With this temporary result, it will be very hard for Paraguay to make a comeback in the second half, and it's like an impossible mission for Paraguay. So far it seems host national teams in World Cup 2026 have very good and acceptable results with their debut matches: Mexico won, Canada drawn, and the USA only wait to have their win.

Well, in the end, what I predicted actually came true. It was a fairly easy game to read because both Canada and Bosnia are teams that prioritize defensive play. In the first half, Bosnia clearly looked more aggressive, but I was very confident that Canada wouldn't want to be embarrassed at home in the second half.

A draw turned out to be the best result for both teams.

That said, if Bosnia manage to score first, I believe the match could end in a draw.

Paraguay lost 4-1. Some may be disappointed with the result of the match but the USA team has really improved a lot. I expected Paraguay to win their first match but I saw that they did not put up much resistance. The USA did not disappoint their fans on their home field and played great football. it is not a bad outing for the three teams especially for the likes of the united states that are considered a not so football friendly nation. for Canada, getting a draw might not be the best result they expect but getting a point still gives them chance to do well as the group stage continues. in the coming days, teams that don't have that strength to keep going for long will suddenly start becoming weary and that is where top teams will single themselves out and show superiority. a lot of eyes will be on the look out for the united states and though i wasn't chanced to watch the game, getting that number of goals at the start of your campaign is a sure thing of pride.

Regarding the Mexico and South Africa match, I already knew that Mexico was going to win the match because I didn't expect them to allow a record like that to be beaten so easily. However, football cannot be predicted in some aspects when it comes to who is going to defeat the other, but with their performance, Mexico really shows that they deserve to win against South Africa and that is what they truly achieved.

I never knew South African national team got a lot of people who are wishing them not to win like their last match. How excited people were was something which kept me in awe the very day they played their debute match after the qualifiers. The South Africans should better work on their relationship with other African countries to have a better relationship with them in the near future. I can’t fathom why they are so hated like this but I know it is due to their own issues with other nations. The goal was swift and kinda showed how prepared the Mexican players are as against the South African team, to a point where I noticed the south African team became a bit more violent than they should which rather landed them more cards including the red card which made them less of a player and created a gap within the team for Mexicans to penerate.
