Seeing Lionel Messi's magnificent World Cup performance made me very happy, especially with Cristiano Ronaldo's two goals. We might be entering a period where legends compete again. I hope Portugal progresses further and they face Argentina in the future. I would be thrilled to see them play against each other one last time. I hope Cristiano scores a few more goals and shows everyone that he is still playing at an elite level despite his age.

Honestly, Messi doesn't compete with him, it's Cristiano who competes with Messi. Did you notice how angry Cristiano was when journalist asked him about Messi's hat trick? He then responded with this: Mbappé scored hat trick too. It demonstrated how jealous he is of Messi. Zlatan's response was also very funny when they asked him about Cristiano. He said that it was a game for Portugal to score lots of goals and then what he said was extremely funny: And his message... I thought he never left, I don't know why he says I'm back.

If they could be better and win, I guess they would do it. A draw against a strong and big team like England certainly isn't a big achievement, but they see it as an achievement in a battle. I guess it's not about mentality, but they see every opponent as a part of history.

For some years now, Ronaldo has been attention kind of person and because Messi does not do public figure thing, he just been humble and do his things but Ronaldo obsession with Messi has made him become that guy people don't want to use to compare him with Messi because they are not even the same kind of person with football gift, Messi is better than him and it's not even a debate, anyone that thinks he is better is only deceiving their self and don't want to accept reality.

Another problem of Ronaldo is his fan base, those creatures lack basic knowledge of football, maybe they do but they don't want to admit that Messi is better that's why I don't like to engage them in any argument. Their points is always weak, they don't have what to back up but will want to prove they can do anything. Well, this is another world cup, I will like to see how they can move in winning this trophy because they are not close to winning it yet, the Uzbekistan is not a strong team.

You're probably right but you never know, if by the next WC he's still in football and Portugal has a shortage of lethal strikers he might come as a possible rescue option, getting on the pitch in the last 20-30 minutes of a game.
