Wait a minute.. am watching the studio analysis of the Germany game about to be played and someone said South Africa qualified.. how did this happen, thought this team was a write-off after the first game beating  

With Germany already qualified, am really not expecting an explosive game from them but it would be nice to see them collect maximum points from this game against Ecuador..

Prediction: Ecuador 0-2 Germany

Hahahaha. Someone's really invested in South Africa getting booted out of the tournament, and here I thought I was the only one who needed them out. Well, their draw against Czech and their win against South Korea was what gave them the lift else they should have been out. South Africa are a good team, it's just their low self esteem and inferiority complex that's making them instigate the xenophobic attacks else I won't have minded supporting them in this tournament. It's true that most people did not believe that South Africa will qualify to the round of 16, especially after they were defeated on their first match against Mexico,  but they were able to crawl their way back after the draw against Czech Republic,  which gave them a lifeline and in the last match they won South Korea 1-0, which got them 4 points in total and they ended second in group A.

I didn’t believe they going to qualify for the next round of the competition, but south Africa are just lucky, I was thinking south Korea would be able to get a win against them today but they couldn’t, south Africa  manage to get a win in todays match which is the reason why they will be qualifying for the next round of the competition.

These German goalkeepers are unbelievable they didn't keep single cleansheet throughout the group stage.
Now against Ecuador, Germany scored within the first two minutes, only to concede in the 9th minute and make it 1-1 right away.
None of my fantasy league goalkeepers have given me decent fantasy league score so far.

Who told you that most Africans wanted South Africa to be kicked out in this group stage. Africans didn't have hope in them of qualifying to the round of 32 because they started poorly by losing their first match. They won the second and nobody expected them to win South Korea because of South Korea performance in their first game but that's where we all got it wrong by judging a team with the outcome of their first game.

Again what an amazing performance by the Morocco team. This team has a lot of potential. This team has a really good chance to again reach the semi finals or I personally believe that this team can also reach the final because their level and other good teams like France, Argentina, Portugal, and other teams are almost the same. And also, credit goes to Achraf Hakimi because he also has a major role in this performance. A good captain also has an impact on a teams performance. Good luck to them in their upcoming games.

They played this match yesterday and they did very well I was actually expecting them to win the match because they are more inform than Haiti, Morocco is the only African country that I’m seeing will go far in this World Cup and may even end up lifting the World Cup, they are actually very strong and they can do it if they continue with this level of performance, one thing I like about them is that all the players are in a good position to score when they have the opportunity to do that, they should keep doing better.

It's incredible that Wirtz and Havertz are ininfluent in the game of Germany, Florian had two or three wrong dribbling and Kay Havertz play very low. The way the Germany team started I thought maybe they are going to score a good amount of goal before the break but unfortunately the Ecuador team recover themselves in only 7th minute that was actually surprising for me. And even currently match is in the corner of first half is still Germany couldn't anymore score.
But it is true that Germany team is dominating the match they were having the highest ball position and as well shot on target even one shot was saved by the equator team goalkeeper. I think Germany will do more score like three or four after the  break.

We don't know whether Germany will force themselves to win this match and basically Germany  already qualified for the next round so whatever the result of this match is not really important. By the way, aside from winning Haiti, Scotland hasn't won any match yet to show to poor a form they are in right now, so I still just can't judge Brazil's performance until they play a strong and an on form before I can support them.

Brazil was lucky to be included in a weak group like that. The strongest opponent was Morocco, which is still a quite average team. I would say Brazil is more or less at the level of Portugal and Netherlands. And most of what Brazil achieved so far was thanks to the skills of Vinicius Junior and Matheus Cunha. Brazil isn't a favorite for this world cup. Once the matches against Germany, France, Spain and Argentina start, then we will see how strong Brazil really is, because so far what has been shown was optical illusion.

I want to assume that you didn't watch most of Morocco games in this ongoing FIFA World Cup or you're just being sentimental with your assessment, hence, your reason to say that Morocco is "a quiet average team". Morocco is one of the best performing teams in the tournament and will likely match their 2022 record of reaching the semi finals of the competition if they continue to control games like they've done in the last three games.

Brazil is better than you described, the results of the knockout stages will do more revelation to that.

This is their first time in history making it out of the group stage of World Cup, I would say this is an achievement for them but the journey ahead is even more serious than the one they’ve just battled out to find themselves in this knockout phase. I also did not really support them because of the xenophobic attack on their fellow Africans in their country but I guess God is not human, and they’ve really earned the success through the hardwork they’ve putting in to prevail so far in this competition. I am really impressed by their performance, at least we have an African team in the knockout phase already, let’s see how many more teams will make it to the knockout phase from Africa. Even South Korea wouldn’t have expected to be defeated by South Africa but in the end, that’s how football is.

If this game ends in a draw, it means that Ecuador date will be determined by playoffs because they have only one point in their last two games. Mexico are remarkably effective in their games. The game against Czechia was fairly even but the 3-0 can suggest a one-sided show.
Their previous game against South Korea was also very even but they shifted the win in their favour. Their opening game against South Africa was indeed a display of dominance and it was a deserved 2-0 win, but 2 red cards for South Africa had a big effect on the outcome.

So Mexico is the first team to win all of their group stage matches and so far are the only team that hasn't lost a single goal in any of their 3 games. Spain, Argentina and Ghana also have clean sheets, but they only played two games each, so it's possible that Mexico could end up being the only team with no goals conceded in the group stage.

Meanwhile, after almost 70 minutes Germany is still struggling to prove their superiority over Ecuador and the game is still tied at 1-1.

Morocco is the only Africa country that has reached this level in world cup they made a surprising performance last world cup and they are also performing the same this year the only thing is that they can't win the world cup but they still remains one of the most consistent country in the ongoing world cup tournament, a country that has won two matches and drew one in their group is not doing bad and shouldn't be seen as an average team.

According to many Brazilian players, when Neymar comes on they do less work because he does many difficult things that the others can't do. He makes it much easier for them to play because of everything they do. In the USA, where I was, everyone shouted with joy when he finally came on to play.

It’s quite easy to know why Ecuador seems so determined in this match  because only a win will give them a good chance of not having to go home straight away. So even if the Ivory Coast were to beat Curacao, but if Ecuador manages to beat Germany , then Ecuador would still have a very good chance of qualifying, as with those four points , they would most likely be one of the best eight third-placed teams.

Thanks to all their efforts, Ecuador now lead 2–1 against Germany , but the match isn’t over yet, so they really need to give it their all right up  until the final whistle.

Germany didn't want to rotate much as it seems despite securing their leadership in the group. But Nagelsmann wanted to try a different formation this time which is 3-4-2-1.

But I guess the reason why they are behind isn't related to that mainly. The players are comfortable now mentally. However this will still not be enough for Ecuador to finish in top 2 as Ivory Coast are so close to a win now.

I knew Germany was going to very nonchalant in this match, after they won their first w matches and qualified, I knew the coach was going to drop some of his best legs as against the ext round. I'm not totally surprised at the score, but the problem here is that the banter will get more valid point and will be used as a yardstick. There's this debate of South American been better than European teams and this game will be used as a valid point in such debate. Personally, I know for a fact that Europe has better footballing teams than any continent in the world but for some reasons there's this argument of South America teams being the best. I know this match will be used as part of it if eventually this match ends in a loss of even a draw, because they would be like, Germany couldn't even beat Ecuador, lol.

Neymar is back from injury? Oh no I knew something special happened cause people around my neighborhood kept talking about the match, too bad i missed it, i need to rewatch the match later. Vinicius Junior and Cunha are really carrying the team along, they've been impressive after drawing to Morocco.

 Germany is currently losing to Ecuador and it's suprising cause they scored an early goal but Ecuador still equalized and scored another one in the 2nd half, Germany is lucky that they've already got sux points from the other matches they won. Meanwhile Ivory Coast is leasing Curaçao by two goals to zero.

Colombia managed to defeat the Democratic Republic of the Congo and secured its second win in the group. It’s safe to say they have guaranteed their advancement from the group. Although Colombia dominated the match against its opponent, it struggled a bit to find the back of the net. They scored the goal just as the final 15 minutes began. With the goal scored by Daniel Munoz, Colombia won the match and will now wait to face Portugal in their final game. I don’t think they’ll be able to beat Portugal.

Colombia won their 2nd match against Dr Congo as well by 1-0.  They dominated the game with 64% possession but won it narrowly just by 1 goal. That goal was scored in the second half by Munoz in the 76th minute,2 big chances created, 0.98xG and a total of 20 shots. They covered 93km distance whereas Congo with 36% possession covered 96km distance 0.37xG no big chance created and a total of 7 shots.  Congo is in 3rd place with a point and they are almost out of the WC . Daniel Munoz was named as player of the match for Colombia because he scored a winning goal and now Colombia is definitely playing in the RO32 in WC

Time is winding down in these crucial minutes and Gonzalo Patta's goal could cost Germany a point in their last game of the group stage.
Honestly, I really liked Ecuador's performance in today's match because looking at what they did even though the possession was still Germany's but they were able to put pressure even in terms of chances they didn't lose so if Ecuador wins this match I think it's worth it because they played well even though Germany also tried to be determined from the start.

Ecuador wants to make sure that even though they are not in 2nd place but they want to work for the top 3.
